Hogwarts Mystery Sequence

Chapter 66: Another encounter [New Year, second update on shelves, please subscribe]

"I have something to tell you." When the train left the platform and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were out of sight, Harry put down his waving left hand and whispered to Ron and Hermione.

"Before that, we need to find an empty carriage where we can communicate." Hermione replied, feeling the speed of the train under her feet.

At this time, Ron saw Ginny still staying at the carriage door like them, so he said:

"Ginny, go away."

"Oh, okay," Ginny responded angrily, then she glanced at Harry and walked away with her head held high.

Harry, Ron and Hermione started walking down the corridor, trying to find an empty carriage.

But all the carriages were packed except the last one.

But when Ron saw the people in this carriage clearly, he couldn't help but cursed in a low voice:

"Oh, hell, why is it her!"

There were only two people in the last carriage, one was a haggard man wearing inferior wizard robes, and the other was the blond girl named Cassandra whom he met at the station before.

"Let's change places." Ron said to Harry and Hermione with disgust on his face.

"I feel like I might die from suffocation if I stay in this carriage for one more second."

"But there are no empty seats in other carriages." Harry said hesitantly.

"Okay, let's just take this carriage, there are three of us!" Hermione said decisively.

Then she pushed Ron directly into the car.

Upon seeing this, Harry immediately took two quick steps to follow.

With a click, the carriage door closed.

The three of them put their luggage on the overhead luggage rack and sat down away from the window.

To Harry's relief, the unfriendly girl didn't speak until they were seated, but just sat there quietly reading.

But even so, Ron still had a bad look on his face and tilted his head, unwilling to look in that direction.

At the same time, Hermione was sullen and silent, as if the blonde girl had left such a bad impression on her that she had no desire to speak just by looking at her.

Harry moved his hips, glanced at the two friends helplessly, and then secretly glanced at the blonde girl, then quietly swallowed and whispered:

"Who do you think he is?"

As he spoke, he looked at the haggard man sitting opposite Cassandra, who had his eyes closed as if he was catching up on sleep, but he couldn't help but glance at Cassandra again from the corner of his eye.

"Professor Lupin," Hermione blurted out.

Perhaps out of her enthusiasm for answering questions, she seemed to have regained some of her interest.

"How do you know?" At this time, Ron also came over curiously.

"It says that on his suitcase," Hermione said, pointing to the luggage rack above the haggard man's head.

There was a small wooden box that looked worn and worn for a long time.

On the corner of the small wooden box, the words "Professor Lupine" were printed in a slightly peeling color.

"Then what does he teach?" Ron frowned and said looking at the professor's appearance.

"Obviously," Hermione whispered, "There's only one empty seat left in the school - the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

Hearing this, Harry and Ron looked at each other with complicated expressions.

Over the past two school years, this position has left them with too many bad memories.

At this time, Ron, who had doubts about Professor Lupine's ability because of his weathered appearance - gray hair, patched wizard robes, pale and tired face - couldn't help but start to worry about this possibility. A moment of silence for the unlucky guy.

After all, based on his first two personal experiences, the position of Professor of Defense against Darkness seems to be really cursed. No wizard who applies for the job will have a good ending - Zilo is possessed by Voldemort, Lockhart is controlled by Amon , the endings are all tragic.

"Hey, I hope he cheers up soon!" said Ron.

"Otherwise, although he already looks very pitiful when he is cornered, believe me, if he cannot defeat that evil curse, then he will only become worse!"

Hermione then angrily condemned:

"Ron, how could you curse our professor like this!"

"It wasn't me who cursed him!" Ron spread his hands, "It was the 'Mysterious Man'!"

"But that's no reason for you to gloat!" Hermione immediately retorted.

Seeing that the two were about to quarrel, and the sound was getting louder and louder, Harry quickly prepared to use words to dissuade them.

At this moment, a discordant voice suddenly broke in:

"A rat is a rat, and it will never change its sneaky nature."

Harry followed the sound and saw Cassandra raising her head from the book at some point and squinting at them with a sarcastic smile.

The next second, Ron slapped the table and stood up, pointed angrily at Cassandra and shouted:

"Who do you call a mouse!"

Cassandra sneered and said:

"Whoever is in the right seat is the one I'm talking about."

Then, she narrowed her eyes slightly and said threateningly:

"I only declare this once: put away your despicable claws, otherwise I cannot guarantee that you will still be able to see it in the next second!"

Ron was frightened by Cassandra's aura and quickly retracted his hand subconsciously.

Immediately he reacted, immediately pulled out his wand, and said angrily:

"Damn it, let this arrogant guy like you see how powerful I am!"

"Ron!" Harry and Hermione saw Ron pulling out his wand and immediately wanted to stand up and stop him.

But Ron may have been preparing to do this before he stood up, so the whole sequence of actions of drawing out his wand, saying the spell, and waving the wand was extremely smooth.

If Professor Flitwick were here, he might even be excited to give Ron a five!

"Slug-VomitingCharm! (Slug-Vomiting Charm)"

A green light shot out from Ron's wand and flew towards Cassandra rapidly.

At this moment, Professor Lu Ping, who had been sleeping deeply, moved, and his eyes suddenly opened. There were bloodshot eyes inside, and a red light flashed away.

But then he slumped again and made no further moves. I don't know whether it was because he was too weak and lost the ability to move, or because he judged that Ron's curse was harmless.

The time passed quickly, and the green spell had already arrived in front of Cassandra.

But there was still no trace of panic on Cassandra's face, and the sarcasm on her face even became more obvious, with her chin raised higher.

The next moment, the green light seemed to hit an invisible barrier, then bounced back and hit Ron!

"belch!"

"vomit!"

Ron immediately lay down on the table, burping and vomiting out big shiny slugs with a painful expression.

"Ron!"

Although Harry and Hermione felt disgusted when they saw this scene, they still anxiously asked Ron about the situation.

But it was obvious that Ron had no way to answer them now. Whenever he wanted to speak, he would hiccup and vomit more violently.
