Soaring at Hogwarts

Chapter 5 Welcome, Gringotts

Samantha had a strong premonition - maybe it came from the wand, maybe it was her trust in Ian's "prophecy" - she was sure that this was her wand.

Ollivander pushed the box over, and Samantha eagerly picked up the wand with its delicate luster.

Warmer magic than before was transferred to her hand. The wand led her to raise her hand, and a golden red flame shot out from the front end, condensing into fireballs in mid-air, flying up and down around Samantha.

"Very good! Very good!" Ollivander said happily, "You will become an excellent witch, Miss Heseltine, I believe this, you will be a good partner for this wand."

"Mr. Ollivander, what are the characteristics of this wand?" Ian asked.

Ollivander looked at the child and said while packing the wand: "The core of this wand comes from the Chinese Fireball Dragon.

Generally speaking, wands with fire dragon cores are usually the easiest to succumb to the dark arts, but on the contrary, I have not sold any rowan wood wands to any purchasers who have gone astray.

Wands made from the heartstrings of the fire dragon are often powerful, and rowan wood is very sharp in duels, and is unique for casting defensive spells.

It is a powerful wand, child, but since it has chosen you..."

Ollivander turned to Samantha: "...I believe you are also a good child with a clear mind and a pure heart. It seems to like you very much. Use it well."

Samantha nodded vigorously: "I will."

"Um, Mr. Ollivander," Ian hesitated for a while and then said again: "Excuse me, will you accept a wand apprentice?"

Ollivander glanced at him in surprise: "What's your name, kid?"

"Ian, Ian Heseltine."

Handing the wrapped wand to Samantha, Ollivander shook his head: "No, Mr. Heseltine, I have no plans to accept an apprentice yet."

"Okay," Ian nodded in disappointment, "Excuse me, sir."

"It doesn't matter, Chenghui is six galleons."

Samantha looked at her pocket and saw only five galleons: "Uh..."

Ian slipped a galleung in just in time, letting her breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thank you, Mr. Ollivander."

"You're welcome, go slowly."

Back on the busy street, Samantha said to Ian: "You want a magic wand? You can borrow mine first."

Ian shook his head: "I just want to know how to make a wand."

"There are many books in the Hogwarts library, and you will definitely be able to find out how to make a wand there." Molly comforted him.

"Well, thank you, ma'am."

The three of them walked to the Leaky Cauldron, during which time Ian asked them to wait for a while outside Wieseacre's Magic Supplies Shop, waiting for him to come out with two small boxes in his hands.

"This is a gift for you," Ian handed one of the small boxes to Molly, "to commemorate the important moment when you accompanied the two little wizards to the magical world on their first day."

Molly declined: "That's too kind, kid."

"It's a worthless trinket, it just represents a little bit of Sammy and I's feelings," Ian insisted, holding the box high to her, "I hope you don't dislike it."

"Okay, okay." Molly compromised.

"Here, this is yours." Ian stuffed another box into Samantha's pocket.

"What?" Samantha asked bluntly

"A quill, I pray it will clear your mind and stop you from being stupid in school."

Today is August [-]th, which also happens to be the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, Kuixingjun’s Christmas.

"Humph!" Samantha wrinkled her small nose, "What did you buy for yourself?"

"I left myself with enough unforgettable memories."

It means I didn’t buy it.

"Okay," Samantha understood, "then you can always use my quill and wand to make your memory a little richer."

The three of them arrived at the Leaky Cauldron, and Molly quickly found Professor Flitwick.

She handed the two children back to their parents angrily: "Sir, Madam, I think you should not be so worried about your children walking on the street, especially on unfamiliar streets."

Then he changed his tone of voice and greeted Professor Flitwick: "Long time no see, Professor Flitwick."

"Ah, Molly," Professor Flitwick looked at his former student, "It's nice to meet you here."

"Professor Flitwick, Mom and Dad." The siblings greeted them.

Samantha placed the wand box on the table.

"Thanks to this kind lady we were able to find the wand shop."

"Thank you very much, ma'am," Cloris stood up and held her hand in thanks. "We were negligent."

Since Samantha has shown "special powers" since she was very young, and Ian is also extremely smart, the Heseltines have always been very worried about their two children. However, in the magical world, there may indeed be some surprises.

"Don't worry, Molly," Flitwick said, "I've given them locating and protection magic."

Molly's face brightened slightly.

"Let's have a drink together." Haydn invited.

"No," Molly waved her hand, "The children are still waiting for me to prepare lunch."

"It's a pity."

Molly said a hasty farewell and returned to the Burrow via the Leaky Cauldron's Floo network - she had only come to replenish the Floo powder.

The emerald green flames startled Ian and Samantha.

"That's called the Floo Network," Haydn showed off the knowledge he had just learned. "It would be much more convenient if we had this thing."

Haydn stood up: "Okay kids, come and help move something."

The three returned to Charing Cross Street in the Muggle world, and Haydn looked around on the street.

"Hey! Haydn, here!"

"Hey! Jimmy!"

The man named Jimmy was wearing a smart suit and shiny leather shoes, and was followed by two young men in the same attire.Next to them was a jeep that looked pretty solid.

Ian has met this man, Haydn's friend, who works at Rothschild Bank and usually manages the assets of Haydn and Cloris.

"God, this thing is so heavy." Jimmy took out an alloy suitcase in his hand, "Hayden, what do you want to do, change the direction of investment? In London, it is really inconvenient to exchange such money elsewhere. many."

"No, no, no," Haydn took the box, "It's for the children to go to school."

"Oh my God!" Jimmy was still confused, "Even if Ian is placed next to Prince William in Wetherby, it won't take so much..."

Jimmy bit his tongue.

"Okay, okay," Jimmy shook his head, "I trust you, Haydn, and if you need any help, be sure to let me know."

"of course."

Ian and Samantha took the other two boxes.

"Then I'll go first," Haydn said goodbye to Jimmy. "Chloe is still waiting for me. Let's have dinner together tonight."

Ian felt that the box in his hand was indeed very heavy. If he hadn't insisted on exercising, he might not have been able to carry it.

Look at Samantha, she looks much more relaxed than him.

The three of them walked into the Leaky Cauldron, with Jimmy rubbing his eyes from behind.

"Damn..."

He muttered and started the car.

Professor Flitwick waved his wand and three boxes levitated.

"Lunch has been ordered," Cloris said. "You can eat when you're done with it."

Ian and Samantha discovered that there was obviously something they were hiding.

Samantha asked, "What's in this?"

Haydn blinked: "We'll find out later, you can guess first."

The group quickened their pace and finally arrived at Gringotts again.

"Exchange money, Mr. Gornuk."

It's still the same counter as last time.

"It's you." Gornuk still remembers this family.

Three alloy boxes were lined up on the counter. Haydn and Cloris entered the passwords, and the two boxes opened with a click.

Ian felt that the white marble hall was suddenly filled with brilliant golden light.

A box of gold bars and a box of silver nuggets.

The last box was also opened.

It's a box of gems.

The jewels make the counter more brilliant

Gornuk's mouth fell open.

Countless people's attention was attracted, and a goblin wearing a gold-encrusted uniform hurried over.

"Dear Sir and Madam, please come here. We have a special reception room worthy of your distinguished status."
