Soaring at Hogwarts
Chapter 45
Ian pulled Gilani through many obstacles.
Neither the chessboard nor the flames stopped them.
When we reached the final level, what we saw was Harry being released from his restraints and walking towards the Mirror of Erised.
Seeing that none of their lives were in danger, Ian couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
With the help of the invisibility spell, he quietly walked to Samantha and prepared to untie her.
Samantha's lips moved slightly, and she was silently reciting a spell. Suddenly she felt the rope loosen, and she was secretly happy.
Then she felt a small, cold thing being stuffed into her hand - a bell.
"Wait for my signal." An inaudible voice said in her ear.
Only then did she realize that Ian was here, and Samantha thought she had exploded into a small universe at a critical moment.
She lay calmly on the ground, staring at Quirrell with narrowed eyes.
On the other side, Harry has obtained the Philosopher's Stone and is making up random things to deceive Quirrell.
Then Voldemort found out.
"Let me talk to him... face to face..."
"Master, your physical strength hasn't recovered yet!"
"This little strength...I still have..."
Quirrell grimaced and slowly took off his scarf.
Where the back of Quirrell's head should have been, there was a face. Harry had never seen such a hideous and terrifying face.
The face was a lifeless pinkish white, with glowing red eyes and two slender nostrils like snakes underneath.
"Harry Potter..." he whispered.
This was the first time Harry could remember seeing Voldemort, and he froze.
"Look what I have become!" said the face.
"Only shadow and vapor remain... I can only rest when I share a body with others... But there are always some people who are willing to let me into their hearts and minds... In the past period of time, Quirrell The offering helped me regain some strength...
Once I get the Philosopher's Stone, I'll be able to recreate a body of my own... Well... why don't you give me the Philosopher's Stone you have in your pocket? "
Without drinking the unicorn's blood, Voldemort could only absorb Quirrell's life force. Now Quirrell looks much smaller and shriveled than before.
If it doesn't get replenished, Quirrell may die.
Harry stumbled back.
"Don't be stupid," the face said viciously, "It's best to save your own life and take refuge in me... Otherwise you will end up like your parents... They begged me for mercy before they died. …”
"Lie!" Harry yelled sharply.
The never-ending nightmare seems to have come to reality.
Quirrell stepped back towards him, allowing Voldemort to still stare at him.Now there was a grin on that wicked face.
"How touching..." he said in a hoarse voice, "I have always admired courage... Yes, kid, your parents were very brave back then...
I started to kill your father first, but he would rather die than give in and fight me bravely... Your mother didn't need to die... She tried her best to protect you...
Well, give me the magic stone, don't let your mother die for you in vain. "
"Don't think about it!"
Harry rushed towards the door burning with black flames. Quirrell pounced and grabbed Harry's wrist tightly - a sharp pain hit both Harry and Quirrell.
"Exorcise evil spirits and bind evil spirits!"
The spell sounded.
Samantha threw the bell violently and rushed for her wand.
"Ahhh-"
Harry, Quirrell, and Voldemort wailed at the same time.
Quirrell arched his body in pain, his chest was scorched black, his face instantly turned pale, and blisters appeared on the fingers that touched Harry.
Three stars hung high above, and Voldemort roared out of Quirrell's body, using his body to block the magic of the spell.
The black mist-like shadow suddenly expanded - the black shadow and the starlight were dimmed a bit.
Taking this opportunity, Voldemort fled towards the Flame Gate.
But a big golden hand made of magic appeared out of thin air, grabbing him and pulling him towards the palm of a Gilani.
Voldemort was horrified and immediately expanded his "body" again.
"Oh!"
The shadow made a substantial explosion, and only the fragment of Voldemort was left in Gilani's hand. This fragment disappeared without a trace under the starlight that followed, like ice meeting fire.
But Voldemort's true form still escaped.
"Tsk."
Sighing regretfully, Gilani appeared and summoned a stream of water to wash his hands with.
Ian also released his invisibility and went to untie Ron and Hermione.
Samantha moved closer to Harry to check on him, and Harry smiled weakly at her before passing out.
This frightened everyone, and they quickly asked Gilani to check on Harry's condition.
"Fortunately, probably because he was frightened, his life is not in danger."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and then realized that they seemed to have forgotten someone.
Quirrell.
"Hey, Professor, don't pretend to be dead," Ian held the wand and walked over cautiously, "You still owe me a confession..."
Ian's words stopped abruptly.
He's not playing dead.
Quirinus Quirrell, dead.

After this adventure, the five young wizards were forced to stay in the school infirmary for a week. Madam Pomfrey insisted on observing whether they had suffered any hidden harm.
She even invited Professor Snape over - everyone knew that Snape was a master of dark magic.
Perhaps because of not keeping an eye on Quirrell, perhaps because of Harry's reckless adventure, or perhaps because of his usual character, everyone was not harmed by black magic, but they were severely injured by the professor's poisonous tongue.
During this week, what happened in the basement spread like wildfire throughout Hogwarts.
The five people received many gifts.Candies and greeting cards filled the bedside table.
Ian's was also covered with green plants by the Hufflepuffs, which the little badgers hoped would make him feel better.
The twins brought a toilet seat, but it was confiscated by Madam Pomfrey the next minute.
Samantha's best sisters came to see her every day, and she and others were "visited" like monkeys in the zoo.
This annoyed Madam Pomfrey so much that she finally issued an eviction order, which calmed down the school hospital.
Before they could breathe a sigh of relief after escaping from the misery of being sightseeing, Hermione pulled them into another misery - the sea of books.
"We have final exams!" she said. "They are all reviewing, we can't waste time here!"
She arranged review schedules for Ian, Harry and Ron based on the review lists of several previous people. Ian's schedule had sufficient review schedules for History of Magic.
Samantha was still laughing - Hermione couldn't arrange her revision - and then Ian arranged it.
"My parents want me to urge you to study," Ian said with a straight face, giving Samantha a full schedule, even fuller than his own.
"By the way, do we still need to take the Dark Arts Defense test?" Ron suddenly asked while looking at "Dark Arts: Self-Defense Guide" and reviewing the repel spell.
No one answered the call.
The death of a living person and a familiar corpse inevitably left a heavy shadow in their hearts.
A kind voice broke the silence.
"I think it's necessary, Mr. Weasley."
It's Professor Dumbledore.
Neither the chessboard nor the flames stopped them.
