Chapter 299 The smell of blood (1)

"Welcome aboard the Knight Bus, emergency transport for witches or wizards in distress. Just stick out your wand and step on board, and we can take you wherever you want to go."

"My name is Stan Sampac and I'm your ticket tonight..."

Stan didn't finish his routine opening remarks. He saw the faces of the people who were about to get in the car.He had seen the leader's appearance a few years ago, but the one that appeared most recently was on the Ministry of Magic's wanted poster posted on the street.

"Long time no see, Stan." Ike smiled, "I remember you still have some unfinished words, aren't you going to continue?"

"No... no, please get in the car." Stan stumbled out of the way to let the passengers get on.Ike nodded at him and walked in first, but stood next to him without sitting inside.

He took out a gold galleons from his pocket and put it in Stan's hand, then took away the tickets that had not yet been pulled off.

"I think these should be enough." Ike said.

Stan looked at the gold galleons in his hand, and then at the four wizards behind Ike who were wearing tattered black robes and with messy hair, but in the end he did not say anything to refute.

He decided to make up for the shortfall by himself later.

Ike smiled and patted Stan on the shoulder, then walked to the back of the carriage. He raised his hand to stop the four people who wanted to stand up, and sat down on the bed next to him with a smile.

"First... Sir, where do you want to go?" Stan asked in a trembling voice.

"Godric's Hollow." Ike smiled and nodded, "Is the driver still Ern? He can be faster this time."

"Yes...yes, I will tell him..."

Stan hurried to the driver's seat and whispered Ike's request into Ern's ear. Ern nodded and started the car.

The car was driving very fast, and the scenery outside the window quickly went backwards.Ike looked at the changing scene outside the car window with interest, looking leisurely and contented.

"little Master……"

The four people looked at each other, and one of them, who looked a little cleaner, stepped out and asked timidly: "Why do we take the Knight Bus instead of Apparition?"

"It's too far." Ike replied casually, "Your magic does not support phantom movement over such a long distance, and I have never been to Godric."

"Then...shall we..." He said, glanced at Stan who was standing at the front of the carriage, and quietly scratched his chin with his hand.

Seeing this, Ike shook his head and said calmly: "There's no need. Stan is a good guy. He won't talk nonsense...right, Stan?"

"Ah! Yes, yes, I didn't hear anything..."

"Look, I told you, Stan is a great guy."

Looking at Ike's smiling face, Stan also grinned stiffly, but with his free right hand, he patted Ern several times.Ern knew it, so he drove faster.

About ten minutes later, the car stopped suddenly and the door opened.Stan's voice was still trembling, but there was a hint of relief in it, as if the big trouble was finally far away from him.

"Sir, Godric's Hollow has arrived."

"Okay, thank you, Stan." Ike nodded kindly to Stan and got out of the car first. When the four people behind him also came down, they waved to Stan.

Unfortunately, Stan obviously had no intention of waving goodbye to Ike. He smiled awkwardly and patted Ern's arm again.Close the door and the car disappears in the blink of an eye.

"Little Master, maybe your feeling is wrong. He doesn't seem to be able to keep secrets." The slightly cleaner man whispered.

"It doesn't matter, it doesn't have any influence on what we want to do." Ike replied, and the smile on his face was gone when he turned around.

Godric's Hollow is a very small village, but the streets are very clean and tidy, with small wooden houses lined up neatly on both sides. Some are shops and some are residences, but without exception, they all have their lights turned off, and they can only use the dim light of the street lamps. Take a closer look at the words on the signs hanging on the wall.

He walked forward along the road, passed through a small square, and then continued forward until the street lights disappeared and the surrounding area fell into darkness. After that, he continued walking for a while, until he came to a hilltop full of tombstones and stopped.

"Young master, we'll be there just through this cemetery."

"Let's go then."

Two in front, two in the back, surrounding Ike in the middle. They were all careful, holding their wands in their hands and looking at their surroundings vigilantly.

In comparison, Ike seemed much more relaxed, and he read the words on the tombstone next to him with great interest, thinking about the past glory of the family to which the owner of the tombstone belonged.

The cemetery was quiet, only the footsteps of a few people could be heard. But sometimes, there will be a long and faint sigh, and if you follow the sound, you will see a white shadow flashing away. This scene did not cause any fluctuation in the hearts of several people. They were just ghosts with no memories, so they could only scare the Muggles.

Passing through the cemetery, a shabby path appears in front of you. After just a few steps, it changed its appearance, as if it was newly paved.Rows of houses appeared on both sides of the road, some were deserted, while others were still inhabited.

After all, your yard lawn doesn’t smooth out on its own.

The crisp sound of footsteps could be heard far away at night, and a few figures could still be seen faintly through the windows of the houses on the street, but they all quickly disappeared. As if going shopping, Ike easily followed the two people walking in front to the destination of his trip - a house that was carefully taken care of.

The wooden three-story villa has a one-meter-high fence painted with white paint. Standing outside and looking in, the lawn in the courtyard seems to have just been taken care of. Even the bushes are round and have no spots. The place where the children come out.

Pushing open the courtyard door, we followed the garden path to the main entrance of the house. There was a swing hanging next to it, and many bright roses were blooming.Ike pushed the swing, and the swing immediately began to swing back and forth without even making a sound of the rope rubbing.

"Thunderbolt explosion!"

Ike waved his hand, and someone next to him cast an explosive spell on the door. The whole house shook violently, but the door was undamaged. Two more explosive spells were cast, and then the door was blown open, and half of the outer wall was destroyed.

"Whirlwind clean!"

One person waved his wand to disperse the dust raised by the falling walls, and then moved a step to the side to make way for Ike.

Aike Shiran stepped on the fallen door and walked in, looking at the furnishings in the room with interest.

"It's very cozy." He sighed, raised his hand to roll aside the broken wood on the sofa, and sat down directly.Crossing his feet, his eyes fell on the stairs, where a man and a woman were pointing wands at him.

"Strider!" The man's deep voice sounded, full of horror and disgust. The woman made no sound, but held the wand tighter.

"Know me? That would be much easier." Ike smiled softly, his eyes lingering on the wand in the woman's hand, and he still smiled when he spoke again, "The teacher asked me to take a look at Ai Bo The attitude of the family, but now I think the answer is obvious..."

"Is that something from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, Mr. Abbott?"

"Haha...a very interesting toy..."
