Chapter 9 Battle of the Zoo (Fog)

Apart from Death Eaters, Rhine could not imagine anyone else who would draw his wand at Harry at this time.

He looked around, but luckily the Muggles were too busy running out to notice that he had used the disarming spell, so he grabbed the short bald man and hid in the corner.

The short bald man was stunned by the fall, and when he finally woke up, he saw Rhine's wand pressed against his shiny head.

"Who sent you here?" Rhine asked sharply.

What he is most worried about now is that he has inadvertently changed the original trajectory of the story, causing Harry's originally simple start to become a difficult mode.

As we all know, the Son of the Plane gets off to a difficult start, and anyone associated with him can easily go to hell.

The short bald man had a confused expression on his face, as if he was frightened by Rhine, and he was hesitating.

Just as Rhine was waiting for his answer, Maleficent's warning appeared again in his heart. He suddenly dodged quickly, shook his hand and cast a coma spell.

"Iron armor!"

The short bald man was not without any fighting ability. He instantly condensed an imperfect armor spell in front of him.

"boom--!"

The imperfect armor spell failed to reflect the stun spell, but instead caused a small explosion.

"Spare wand?" Rhine realized that the short bald man actually had a back-up.

The short bald man waved his second wand and pointed it at Rhine again.

"All imprisoned!"

Rhine apparated away and dodged the attack of the curse.

Less skilled wizards, this is what the short bald man is waiting for when he is briefly dizzy after disapparating.

He also apparated and appeared behind the stiff Rhine.

"Passed out!"

He raised his hand and cast a stun spell back.

But the strength of Rhine's level 6 magic spell and level 7 black defense is no joke. A backhand shot that was far more perfect than the short bald man's iron armor curse instantly bounced back the stun spell.

The short bald man hurriedly dodged his own spell, but was blown backwards by a whirlwind of wind sent by Rhine. He hurriedly tried to stabilize his balance and encountered another smooth slide...

"Crack-!"

He hit the ground face down again and let out an even more ferocious howl.

Then, there was another disarming spell from Rhine, and the spare wand fell into the opponent's hands.

After experiencing a confrontation that lasted less than half a minute, Rhine expressed his immense gratitude to his predecessor for his efforts as a student.

In this era of general decline in wizard strength, he actually mastered the technique of silent spells upon graduation, which gave Rhine a level of combat prowess.

After all, compared to the short bald man who predicts every spell, his playing style will be more unpredictable.

Rhine raised his wand again, ready to open it wide and unleash a divine blade without a shadow!

"Meow-that's enough!"

A majestic cat meow... uh... a sharp shout came from not far away, causing Rhine to turn his head and look.

He saw a familiar-looking tabby cat that still lingered on his fingertips change in size and turned into an eyed aunt wearing an emerald green cloak.

"Rhine! Mundungus! Why are you fighting?"

Minerva McGonagall, deputy principal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and professor of Transfiguration, pursed her lips and looked at the two people angrily.

"I don't know! Professor McGonagall!"

The short bald man got up and wiped the nosebleed from his face while complaining to Mag.

"I just saw Harry get into trouble and tried to help him fix that glass!"

"..."

Rhine fell into silence, but was met with a sharp stab from Professor McGonagall's eye dart.

He was sure that this over-aged cat lady was not only angry because of the battle in front of her, but was probably also planning to find a way to deal with the previous face-attack.

"I also wanted to protect Harry," he spread his hands innocently, "When I turned around, I saw this gentleman pointing his wand at Harry."

Although he didn't know much about Mundungus, Mag's appearance made him understand that the other party turned out to be from the Order of the Phoenix.

I don’t know whether he was originally hidden from the perspective or was biased by his appearance. This short bald man accompanied Harry when he went to the zoo, and a misunderstanding occurred.

"I was about to say this!" McGonagall became even more angry, "If you hadn't come into contact with Harry suddenly, you wouldn't have..."

Rhine suddenly lay down in the corner and looked outside, interrupting Mag's words.

"Harry seems to be looking for me? Vernon seems to be bullying him?"

McGonagall was speechless for a moment, and after shooting several eye darts at Rhine, he said, "You go and deal with it first. I will talk to Professor Dumbledore and talk to you when you get back!"

She is the vice-principal, so what she says is perfectly justified.

Rhine could only shrug, quickly walked out of the corner, and walked towards Harry.

There was a scoff from behind, it must be Professor McGonagall disapparating with Mundungus.

After all, the two of them had made a lot of noise just now, which might have attracted the attention of Muggle security guards.

Uncle Vernon was already furious about the mysterious disappearance and restoration of glass, and the fact that his son had switched sides with a Brazilian python.

But as soon as Rhine got closer, he realized that he might be beaten, so he angrily let go of his fat hand on Harry's shoulders.

"Go home!" Vernon roared angrily at his family, "What's your birthday? You can't live it up!"

The Dursleys and their friends who came with them ignored Rhine and Harry and disappeared at the end of the road in their car.

Rhine was busy restraining his raging malice and didn't have time to care about Harry beside him.

When little Harry saw it, he felt that his strange behavior had given Rhine an idea, and he murmured for a long time before he came up with a sentence——

"I'm not a monster."

Rhine glanced at him in surprise, reflected on his neglect, and laughed.

"I know that sometimes we have to deal with strange coincidences."

Although you have a lot of coincidences, and they are not coincidental at all, Rhine complained silently in his heart.

"Then will you come to see me again?" Harry cheered up a little.

What he was most worried about was that Rhine would alienate him and leave him alone again.

"The days ahead will be very busy..."

Thinking about Mag's reaction today, Rhine estimated that his plan to harvest wool again was destined to go bankrupt.

Harry's eyes dimmed, and he felt that Rhine still had thoughts about him.

"But, it won't be long before we meet again."

Rhine smiled and knelt down, straightened Harry's messed up clothes, looked into his eyes and said.

No matter how much he resisted the magical world in his heart, and how much he hated the wizards because of his previous experiences, the soft-spoken Harry still made Rhine feel a little better.

What a child!

How can you grow up?

"Will it?" Harry's eyes were bright.

Rhine nodded: "Definitely, and it may be a surprise you never dreamed of."

Thinking about the blame he would face next, Rhine felt no guilt at all about making some minor spoilers.
