Chapter 16 You should be in Gryffindor

"What the hell is a dead hunter? A tomb robber?"

Rhine wordlessly snatched the newspaper, glanced at it, and handed it back to Hannah Abbott.

Little Hannah's eyes lost their luster. She thought Rhine would take advantage of the situation and sign her autograph as a souvenir!

Just now, Rhine had a confrontation with a group of Death Eaters who had narrowly escaped punishment, but it did not lead to any fierce battle.

First of all, it was a trivial matter for Weasley to fight with them. At most, he would get scolded for a few words and write a review when he returned to the Ministry of Magic where he worked.

But even if this group of people had the guts to stand up and put the "predator's prey" on their foreheads, they didn't have the guts to fight Rhine with his hands covered in blood.

If they were people with integrity, they wouldn't become Death Eaters.

Secondly, as the dark brother Kingsley, the Auror of the Ministry of Magic, he immediately issued a warning.

He was an undercover agent of the Order of the Phoenix in the Ministry of Magic. He really caused Rhine to get into trouble. If he didn't give an explanation to the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore wouldn't be able to get through it either.

So, Rhine watched the Death Eaters leave and returned to Hermione.

"No wonder they kicked me out of school..." he said gloomily. "Are you afraid that I would feel bad after seeing the reports and cause trouble again?"

He didn't believe that Dumbledore didn't know the news in today's headlines. He must have taken himself out to hide for a while!

When Rhine was about to drift into a fugue, Hermione tugged at the corner of his clothes with her little hand.

"Did you really kill 27 people?"

It's not just Hermione who is paying attention to this issue, but also the Grangers, who are good, law-abiding citizens of London.

They seriously believed that Professor McGonagall was unreliable and actually left a murderous ex-con to take care of their family.

"Hermione..."

Rhine knelt down and faced the little beaver with a straight face.

"Maybe the professors don't want you to know this, but I don't think it's necessary to know it in advance."

"This is a magical world beyond reality. It has both a dreamy side and a dark side... We cannot escape it."

Rhine said this sincerely. Everything his predecessor had encountered was the darkest version of what the Iron Triangle and this generation of young wizards might encounter.

The adult wizards are indeed trying their best to protect them, but beyond this protection there is no concealment without negotiation.

Whether it was Dumbledore's calmness in the early stage, or the desperate cover-up in the middle and later stages, or the Ministry of Magic that was still pretending even when Voldemort was at the door...

It is a matter of life and death, but the young people are ignorant and go to the battlefield that they have to face.

Harry may be destined, but what about the others?

Are their sacrifices taken for granted just because they are brave Gryffindors, loyal Hufflepuffs, etc.?

Perhaps this idea is very personal, but Rhine believes that even in the most unreasonable feudal era, the soldiers who were pushed onto the battlefield at least knew what they were about to face.

But before the final battle of Hogwarts breaks out, how many students are mentally prepared to fight against the sweeping Voldemort?

When did the heroes and mentors they respected and relied on tell them that they needed to be prepared to die for this?

Of course, good and evil are important. Rhine himself once chose to hunt down Death Eaters alone when the Ministry of Magic and even the Order of the Phoenix gave up pursuing them.

But isn’t that because he sacrificed his parents due to “natural” justice, but did not receive the “natural” justice?

Rhine didn't want to mess up Dumbledore's plan, he just wanted the girl in front of him who was destined to be sucked into the depths of the whirlpool to get a chance to choose in advance.

Do you want to step into this world and face the dark future that is not far away?

What Rhine didn't know was that his words caused an old man in the circular office to frown and sigh helplessly...

Do you think Albus Dumbledore can transcend the outside world?

Putting aside those honors, he is just a dying old man with scars all over his body.

Rhine didn't know that he had caused Dumbledore to sigh. He just stared at Hermione in front of him seriously and asked his question word by word.

"Are you sure...that you can bear the darkness that may come?"

Hermione looked at Rhine, and then looked up at her parents helplessly, feeling that she had to bear a heavy weight that should not be felt at this age.

But after thinking for a long time, she suddenly smiled.

"You'll stand in front of the darkness, won't you?"

"You are the hero who hunts down those bad guys!"

Her answer instantly made Dumbledore's eyes light up in the circular office.

Rhine stared intently at Hermione's soft yet tenacious eyes, and started laughing after a while.

"I said it wrong before...you should be in Gryffindor."

Fearless courage is what Rhine lacks most at the moment, much more lacking than its predecessor.

But what he is afraid of is not those evil entities, but the tragedies that may appear in front of him at any time.

He had seen enough in his previous life, and was even glad that his memories were incomplete.

……

Mr. Weasley got along well with the Grangers, or so he thought.

Especially when Mr. Granger said that he would give him a spark plug, Mr. Weasley was so happy that he invited him to the Leaky Cauldron to taste Firewhiskey later.

Unfortunately, this proposal was decisively canceled by Mrs. Weasley who came quickly.

"Rhine! My dear child!"

Molly Weasley was as enthusiastic as ever, which made Rhine feel warm again...if she didn't wrap her arms tightly around her.

"Mom," George reminded, "Mr. Lyle is turning purple."

Fred shouted: "The great hunter is going to be killed by mother!"

The brothers then endured Mrs. Weasley's love blow together, causing the crowd to burst into laughter.

Through Mrs. Weasley's introduction, Rhine learned that she had taken Percy, Ron and Ginny to another place, and did not want others who liked to cause trouble to follow.

As a result, they caused bigger troubles.

"How can you fight?" Mrs. Weasley yelled at Mr. Weasley, "in front of a child!"

Mr. Weasley shrank his head and whispered unwillingly: "They insulted Rhine and mentioned Gideon and Fabian..."

Mrs. Weasley was stunned and became angry.

Rhine was considered the most important to her, and Gideon and Fabian were her brothers, who also died in the confrontation with the Death Eaters.

"It seems that the punishment was taken lightly," Rhine sneered, "I'm going to see who hasn't left yet..."

Mrs. Weasley hurriedly grabbed Rhine, fearing that he would go to fight with the Death Eaters and send her back to Azkaban to work.

"It's getting late."

She pointed at the sun that had not yet reached its zenith and told everyone seriously.

"We'd better go buy things for the children quickly so as not to miss dinner."

"By the way, Rhine, let's say hello to Professor Dumbledore, and you can go to the Burrow for the next vacation."

Rhine:...

It turns out that this time you pushed me away and you were waiting here?
