Hogwarts Reading Days

Chapter 2 The Anderson Family's Past

No one moved, everyone froze in place for at least half an hour... well, it was only about ten seconds.

Albert bent down and picked up the pale yellow envelope, an unstamped letter with a line written in emerald green ink, and he read it softly:

Tiber Avenue, 19, entrance, Mr. Albert Anderson.

When Albert read this text, he found that he actually triggered a task:

Wizard's Path.

You have the potential to become a wizard, but you are not qualified, and now you have a valuable opportunity to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and become a student.

Rewards 1 experience, 2 skill points, +1 wizard bloodline.

Wizard blood?

Albert was stunned.

What the hell is this.

2 skill points is very tempting, you must know that being a student of Eton College only has 1 point, and Albert has only got 3 skill points after saving so many years, and he is reluctant to use it.

However, what is even more pitiful is that this is still the world of novels.

The wizarding world in the Harry Potter novels?

Albert turned the envelope over, and sure enough he saw the Hogwarts coat of arms with a capital "H" surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake.

"Mom, do zoos now train owls to be postmen?" Nia stared curiously at the owl that was staying nearby.

"Nia, I don't think anyone will use an owl to send a letter. At least normal people don't. Maybe, it's just a prank." Daisy looked at her husband, saw Herb frowning tightly, and asked, "Why? Now, darling, is it time for us to go out?"

"It's nothing, Albert, show me the letter." Herb whispered.

"Oh, here." Albert gave the envelope to his father.

"Honey!" Daisy was a little upset.

Herb didn't pay attention to the displeasure on his wife's face, quickly opened the envelope, took out the parchment inside and glanced at it, and said, "Children, it seems that our plan is going to be postponed."

"Dear Herb, what happened, what is the content of the letter?" Daisy felt that her husband was a little abnormal, and her tone couldn't help increasing.

"Dad, what's in the letter?" Nia couldn't help but ask, but Albert, who received the letter, didn't respond much.

"Let's go back to the living room, Daisy." Herb closed the car door heavily and returned to the living room with his family.

After the door of the entrance was closed, the owl that delivered the letter still did not leave.

"Dear Herb, you'd better give me a proper explanation." Daisy looked angry, and she couldn't wait to see her son in Eton's school uniform.

"Dad, what is in the letter? Read it out to everyone. I also want to know who can predict where I will appear." Albert's face did not show much emotional fluctuations, of course he knew What happened to the letter? If you haven't experienced the time-travel and panel events, you might be shocked when you see that letter.

But the first two times he was shocked and found himself living in the world of a novel. It didn't seem too strange to think about it. What's more, he had read the best-selling books of Harry Potter, and he had also written a novel. This fellow.

At that time, after checking a lot of information, I still had some understanding of the worldview of this novel.

"Then I'll read it." Herb glanced at his calm son, and read out the content on the parchment:

Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Federation of Magic, President of the Wizarding Association, First Class Wizard of the Merlin Order)

"Hogwarts... school!" Daisy's eyes widened in astonishment, because she had already guessed what it was... an admission letter?

"Magic, is there really magic in this world?" Nia's face was filled with unconcealed excitement, "I also want to learn magic, and I want to go to a magic school."

"I hate Albert, let me go!" Nia looked at her brother with dissatisfaction. She was about to lean over to read the letter, but was stopped by Albert.

"Nia, let Dad finish his belief." Albert motioned for his father to continue reading the letter, and pulled his angry mother to sit down by the way.

"Son, I will never let you go to Hogg..." Daisy was very angry, she thought her husband might know something.

Herb coughed lightly and continued to read:

Dear Mr. Anderson:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.Enclosed is a list of required books and equipment.

The semester is scheduled to start on September 7.We will be waiting for your owl until July 21st.

Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall, Vice-Principal (female).

Herb finished his belief, and then handed the letter to his son.

Albert glanced at it and handed it to his curious sister, while Nia took the letter and ran to her mother Daisy.

After Daisy studied the contents of the letter sentence by sentence, she said word by word:

"I would never agree to let Albert go to this kind of school. No, someone must be playing tricks on us. Maybe, we should call the police immediately and catch that pesky troublemaker."

"Mom, does the owl waiting for you on the letter ask us to write back to them?" Nia said suddenly.

Daisy didn't speak, but stared at her husband with oppressive eyes.

Albert asked, "Dad, do you know anything?"

"It doesn't count as knowing." Herb put his hand to his head and seemed to be caught in a short-lived memory: "When I was about the same age as you, my father, your grandfather, told me that I failed to receive a letter from Hogg. Watts' letter is disappointing."

"I asked my father what Hogwarts was and he just said it was a school."

"Later, when my father got drunk, I asked why he wanted me to go to Hogwarts."

"He only said he was a Squib, but I don't know what that word means." Herb's tone was very low, and he remembered that time when his father cried.

"I think now I know where Hogwarts is. Father would be delighted to know that his grandson received a letter from Hogwarts."

Of course Albert knew what the Squib meant, but he didn't really think he had anything to do with wizards.

In other words, there is no similar skill in his skill column, otherwise he would have noticed it long ago.

"Yes, I should write to him, no, call, he will definitely be very happy!" Herb suddenly said, as if planning to call his father.

"Herb Anderson!" shouted Daisy, "Albert should go to Eton, he'll do what we can't imagine, and not go to a school we've never heard of, you know? As for his future, I absolutely won't allow you..."

"Mom, we haven't determined whether magic exists or not." Albert reached out and grabbed his mother who was about to go berserk, and comforted softly, "Didn't the letter say that the owl is waiting for you? Maybe, we should write a letter to each other to let What about the Hogwarts school to prove whether there is magic, and if it can't be proved, it means it's a lie."

"Okay, son, I agree with you, let the damn school prove the authenticity of this letter." Daisy clenched her fist and swung it vigorously, "Wait and see, I must call the police Catch the crooks and put them in jail for a few years.
