It is a pity that the quantity of any kind of porcelain discovered this time is not large.

Among them, Yuan blue and white flowers are the most, and the total number of scattered pieces exceeds [-] pieces.

Next is egg white glaze porcelain, then blue glaze porcelain and underglaze red porcelain, and finally black glaze and green glaze porcelain.



Of course, the most valuable among them is also the most diverse blue and white.

This made Chen Wenzhe have a strong interest in the domestic Yuan blue and white cellars.

The four dynasties of Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming are really a blank period in the Song and Yuan Dynasties.

The civilization of the Tang Dynasty was mainly in China, and quite a few have been unearthed now.

Not to mention the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Because of the wars, or that several countries intersected and attacked each other at that time, many things disappeared in the long river of history.

In this way, it provides opportunities for archeology of modern people, especially the Yuan Dynasty.

Yuan blue and white has become the main subject of academic research, which can be traced back to Dr. Pope's research on a pair of elephant ear bottles with cloud and dragon patterns in the 11th year of the David Foundation.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, archaeological unearthed materials such as cellars and tombs were discovered, which became further materials and catalysts for the study of Yuan blue and white.

Regarding the research on Yuan blue and white, every step and every step is closely related to archaeology.

The main sources of Yuan blue and white data: cellars, tombs, ruins and kiln sites.

From a general point of view, the Yuan blue and white porcelain unearthed in the cellar is more abundant and better preserved.

The so-called cellar refers to the same batch of cultural relics being buried together in a cellar-like place for special reasons.

Such pits for unearthed cultural relics are called cellars.

The cultural relics unearthed in this way are called cellar cultural relics.

From the founding of the People's Republic of China to the present, there are roughly 16 places of Yuan blue and white unearthed in the Yuan Dynasty, and a total of 84 pieces have been unearthed.

These sixteen cellars are the most recognized and the most authentic Yuan blue and white flowers.

The first cellar was discovered in Dantu, Jiangsu. As early as September 1962, a cellar of porcelain was discovered in Dalu Commune, Dantu County.

A total of 26 pieces of porcelain were unearthed, 6 pieces of Yuan blue and white stem cups, 5 pieces painted with plum and moon patterns, and 1 piece painted with pine and bamboo.

The second one is in Baoding: In June 1964, a cellar of the Yuan Dynasty was found there, and 6 pieces of porcelain were unearthed, 11 pieces of Yuan blue and white are very exquisite.

Among them are two blue-and-white glazed red glazed vases, two blue-and-white octagonal plum vases with seawater cloud and dragon patterns, one blue-and-white octagonal jade pot and spring vase, and one blue-and-white octagonal holding pot.

The third is the Jintan cellar. In the 70s, a Yuan Dynasty cellar was also discovered in Jintan County.

This large jar has a lid and a large silver bowl interlayer, and there are more than 50 pieces of various silverware stored in the jar. Now, the storage capacity is also perfect.

In 1970, when the archaeological team of Yuan Dadu was excavating the courtyard in the Old Drum Tower Street of Shendu, they accidentally discovered a Yuan Dynasty cellar.

A total of 10 pieces of Yuan blue and white flowers were unearthed. At that time, the most exciting thing for the archaeologists was a flat pot with a crested head and a pomegranate flower cup holder.

The shape and workmanship of these two utensils have won everyone's praise.

Then in April 1972, a Yuan Dynasty cellar was also discovered in Dingxing County, Beihe.

A total of two Yuan blue and white pieces were unearthed, one is a blue and white phoenix-patterned high-foot bowl, and the other is a blue-and-white plum-moon-patterned high-footed bowl.

The next few discoveries that Chen Wenzhe knew were in Northwest my country.

For example, Linxi in Inner Mongolia was also in 1972, but only in October, when a Yuan Dynasty cellar was also discovered in Linxi.

The number of discoveries in the cellar is acceptable. A total of 12 pieces of porcelain were unearthed, including 7 pieces of Yuan blue and white.

There are flat pots with blue and white lotus patterns, blue and white plates with mandarin duck patterns, blue and white dragon pattern plates, blue and white chrysanthemum pattern stem cups, blue and white dragon pattern stem cups, and blue and white phoenix pattern stem cups.

Then it was in Huocheng, Xinjiang, in the spring of 1976.

At that time, a batch of porcelain was found in the farmland of a certain group of farms in Hc County 30 centimeters below the surface.

But this discovery is a bit of a fly in the ointment.

Because most of the porcelain has been broken and cannot be restored.

Judging from the broken pieces of porcelain, there are porcelains from Longquan, Shufu, Jingzhen, Cizhou, and Jun kilns.

There is even one of them, which is a high-footed bowl with blue and white double phoenix patterns.

The only ones found were in Inner Mongolia, and once in Chifeng.

Two years after the discovery of Huocheng's cellar, a Yuan Dynasty cellar was also discovered in Chifeng County, Inner Mongolia, and five blue and white dragon-patterned stem cups were unearthed.

The other time was Baoheshao in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. These few times, Yuan blue and white flowers were found in the western region, which also reminds people of the Yuan Dynasty, a country on horseback.

More than 40 pieces of porcelain have been unearthed here, including a Yuan blue and white stem cup with blue and white plum and grass patterns.

After entering the 1980s, several Yuan Dynasty cellars were discovered in China.

However, those discovered during this period are generally in the south of the country.

For example, the Xijiang Gaoan mentioned earlier was discovered in November 1980 this time.

The number and scale of the hoards discovered this time are the largest ever discovered.

After statistics, a total of 245 artifacts were unearthed.

Porcelain occupies half of the country, with a total of 239 pieces, and 19 pieces of Yuan blue and white were found.

Among them, there are 10 stem cups, 1 jar with cloud and dragon pattern lid, 2 jars with lotus leaf lid and cloud and dragon pattern, 3 plum vases with lid with cloud and dragon pattern, 2 plum vases with entwined peony and cloud shoulder pattern, and 1 flower goblet with Jiaye pattern pieces.

Then it was in She County, Hui Province. This discovery should actually be quite unexpected.

In 1982, the Shexian Branch of the People's Bank of China discovered the Yuan Dynasty cellar during an infrastructure construction.

Among them, 54 pieces of porcelain were unearthed in the cellar, but only one blue and white goblet with cloud and dragon pattern was found.

Next, in May 1985, a cellar was discovered in Jurong County.

In this discovery, three pieces of Yuan blue-and-white porcelain were unearthed, including a blue-and-white cloud-dragon lid jar and two blue-and-white plum vases with a cloud-dragon pattern.

In September 1985, a cellar was discovered in Pingxiang.

Among the 29 pieces of porcelain unearthed, blue and white porcelain accounted for 10 pieces.

They are a Ju Chinese censer with two ears and a seat, and a plum pattern censer with a seat.

An incense burner with a running rabbit pattern, a goblet with a flying phoenix pattern, and a flower pattern bowl.

A cellar of porcelain was also found in Hangzhou in 1987. Among the 54 pieces of porcelain unearthed, only one was Yuan blue and white, which was a pen holder and water bowl.

At the beginning of 92, a Yuan Dynasty cellar was discovered in Santai.

Two blue-and-white vases with folded branches and chrysanthemum patterns were unearthed, and one blue-and-white double-eared furnace with wrapped branches and peony flowers was unearthed;

The last one was also discovered in Inner Mongolia. This discovery is the first discovery of Yuan blue and white cellar since the 21st century.

In the ruins of the ancient city on Jining Road in Inner Mongolia, three cellars were found, namely j19, j24, and j39.

In j19, 40 pieces of porcelain were unearthed, and only one small blue and white cup of Yuan Dynasty was unearthed.

In j24, 2 blue and white goblets with cloud and dragon pattern, blue and white goblet with cloud and phoenix pattern, and blue and white stem cup with twisted branches and Chinese characters were unearthed.

In j39, a blue and white pear-shaped pot was unearthed.
