Chapter 28 You are surrounded by me

The Hufflepuff students received Ryan's instructions and did not spread the word about the duel.

Malfoy doesn't intend to be too ostentatious. For him, designing Yin Lane is the top priority, and the fewer people who know about it, the better. He only needed to let his followers take photos of Ryan being defeated. As for the process in between, it was certainly not enough for outsiders to understand.

"Has Senior Cedric agreed?" Justin secretly asked Ryan during the Defense Against the Dark Arts class on Wednesday.

Ryan's face was expressionless and his voice was calm: "Of course."

"Then why are you keeping such a straight face? I thought the senior rejected you..."

Ryan tilted his head sluggishly: "I'm listening to the class."

This was quite funny, because the Gryffindor children were making fun of Professor Quirrell, asking him questions about Romanian vampires and African zombies.

Especially for the demolition genius Seamus Finnigan, Ryan couldn't tell whether this little wizard was too curious or had a talent for prank acting. His sharp questions forced Quirrell to scramble and hesitate.

Justin glanced at Ryan strangely, then suddenly realized, and comforted him: "Don't be too nervous Ryan, there is no shame in giving up in a duel."

"Yeah." Ryan's voice was cold.

He was running Occlumency at full capacity, feeling for any possible disturbance. However, until the class was over, Ryan found no trace of Legilimency.

This shows that Voldemort's condition is not very good, and it is also possible that the other party does not bother to inquire into the thoughts of a group of young wizards.

Feeling like he was fighting against the air, Ryan complained to himself in his heart.

However, being cautious is not a bad thing after all.

The Defense Against the Dark Arts class has almost become a joke, and many young wizards are still making fun of the weak Professor Quirrell after class.

"Has the news about Malfoy come?" Justin rubbed his hands, he was even more nervous than Ryan.

"Not yet. Let's go back to the common room. I think Senior Cedric is already waiting for us."

Seeing Ryan's expression become vivid again, without any nervousness, Justin secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

After returning to the common room, Cedric took Ryan to complain again, thinking that he should not have agreed to Malfoy's invitation so rashly and refused to tell the professor.

"If the professor knows, we probably won't be able to fight." Ryan shook his head. "What I hope is to teach Malfoy a lesson. For Slytherin people, reason does not make sense. Only strength can make a difference." They backed down."

"That being said, don't expect Slytherins to follow the rules in a duel."

"It's you, senior," Ryan said. "My safety depends entirely on you."

"Even if you say so, I'm not sure I can beat other senior students." Cedric smiled bitterly.

"I have a safer way."

At this moment, an owl flew in from the skylight of the lounge and dropped a note in front of Ryan.

Ryan opened the note and showed a smile as expected.

"What did he say?" Justin asked impatiently.

"Three o'clock, top of the astronomy tower." Ryan said.

"Three o'clock?" Justin shouted in disbelief, "It's almost three o'clock now, how can we make it in time?"

"Well, if you run faster, you can still catch up with the time."

"Is this his plan? How despicable!" Justin gritted his teeth, and even Cedric frowned, his face looking very ugly.

"Isn't it a matter of course to weaken the opponent before the battle?" Ryan's tone was still brisk. "I gave Malfoy the choice of time and place, so naturally I have to deal with the opponent's plan."

"What are you going to do?" Cedric sighed, "Right now I can barely catch up."

"No, senior, how can we jump into each other's trap on our own?" Ryan stood up unhurriedly, "From now on, we just have to give full play to our own advantages and see what we can do."

He walked to the kitchen door and knocked on the door with the agreed-upon code.

"Hello, Barb," Ryan said, "I need your help."

On the other side, on the high platform of the Astronomy Tower, Malfoy was talking to a muscular senior student, with Crabbe and Goyle following him.

"What do you think he looks like now, Marcus?"

"Call me Senior Flint, Malfoy." Marcus glared at Malfoy with his monster-like gray eyes, "I'm ashamed of you. As a member of the pure-blood family, you actually didn't even know that you had just entered school. I can’t beat any species..."

"That guy is different from others!" Malfoy blushed, "Also, I asked you to come here to help, not to make you laugh at me."

"I know." Marcus said casually, "Fifty Galleons, I'll get it from you tonight."

"Don't be careless, he is not easy to deal with."

"You're too long-winded, Malfoy." Marcus waved his hand impatiently, "Anyway, as soon as he appears, I'll knock him out. Is that okay?"

"It's good that you know." Malfoy closed his mouth.

Then, both of them stared at the stairs, waiting for the panting Ryan to show up.

"What are you doing?"

There was a crackling sound from behind them, followed by Ryan's teasing voice.

Marcus turned around sharply. He looked at Ryan who suddenly appeared in surprise, but the movements of his hands were not slow at all.

"Passed out!"

A red beam of light flew toward Ryan at a speed that was difficult to discern with the naked eye, and hit a wall of nothingness in front of him.

A series of ripples appeared out of thin air, and finally with a click, the illusory wall shattered.

Ryan took a step back, a layer of cold sweat forming on his back.

He has grown up.

Marcus was not slow at all. Seeing Ryan stunned, he didn't care how the little wizard blocked his spell, and immediately repeated the gesture of waving the staff:

"fainted..."

"Passed out!"

Cedric's voice filled the air, and he intervened just in time to interrupt Marcus' spell.

Marcus' huge body swayed, as if trying to fight against the dizziness in his head.

"Passed out!"

Ryan regained his composure and added another spell.

With a thud, the senior student finally fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Thankfully I reacted quickly." Cedric's voice came through the air again, "Okay, Barb, you can help me lift the invisibility spell."

The elf snapped his fingers, and Cedric and Barb appeared out of thin air.

"You...you..." Malfoy pointed at Ryan with a trembling finger.

"What's wrong, Malfoy?" Ryan smiled, "You are only allowed to find foreign aid, and I'm not allowed to ask for seniors?"

"You liar!" Malfoy screamed, "You said you didn't need an assistant."

"Why are you shouting so loudly? Senior Cedric is not my assistant." Ryan said, "He was just invited by me to watch the battle. If you are willing to duel according to the rules, he will not appear, but now it seems Come on, my preparations are still necessary."

He is still feeling a little weak now. The strength of the senior students exceeded his expectations and he almost fell into a box.

Malfoy took a few steps back and hid behind Crabbe and Goyle, assessing the distance between himself and the stairs.

"Malfoy, it was you who broke the rules first..." Ryan sneered, "I think I must teach you a profound lesson."

"Crabbe, Goyle, stop him!"

Malfoy yelled, running towards the stairs.

"Come when you want, leave when you want?" Ryan waved his wand and used a leg-locking spell to trip Malfoy down.

Crabbe and Goyle glanced at Malfoy and Marcus who were lying on the ground, then at Ryan and Cedric who were in full swing, and squatted on the ground silently.

There were huge doubts in their little minds:

He clearly had the numerical advantage, so why did he seem to be surrounded by Ryan alone?
