Age of Clowns

Chapter 15: My name is Bruce Wayne.

The two people faced each other and looked at each other. There was a huge iron door in the middle blocking their figures, as if it was a line between black and white.

Arthur looked at the little boy in front of him, waved the clown stick in his hand, danced his fingers a few times, touched the back of his head, and handed the clown stick to the little boy.

The boy just took the clown stick, and the originally straight clown stick actually bent. The boy looked at Arthur in confusion. Arthur chuckled, took the clown stick in the boy's hand, and turned the clown stick into the boy's hand as if by magic. Straightening it up again, Arthur walked with light steps, the clown stick spurted out colorful flowers, and Arthur gently handed it to the boy.

The little boy looked at the flower in front of him in surprise, took it in his hand, and looked at the new toy with curiosity in his eyes.

Arthur squatted down slowly, his quiet eyes revealing a touch of tenderness. He looked at the little boy in front of him, as if he saw himself as a child, so lively and cute.

"Hello, what's your name?" Arthur asked, looking at the little boy.

The little boy looked at Arthur, and an inexplicable emotion surged into his heart. The boy paused and said, "Bruce, my name is Bruce Wayne..."

Arthur looked at Bruce with tears in his eyes, and said as if muttering to himself: "Bruce, my name is Arthur..."

"Bruce, why don't you smile more?" Arthur looked at Bruce and continued to ask.

Bruce looked at Arthur and said, "I play here alone every day. It's boring and uninteresting."

"Then let's have a laugh, Bruce." Arthur looked into Bruce's eyes, grabbed Bruce's mouth tightly with both hands, and put a weird smile on Bruce's face...

"This way, it will look much better..." The picture seemed to be immersed in this moment, until a shout came from the distance.

"Bruce! Bruce! Bruce!" A man in a suit and leather tie quickly ran over and separated the fused scene again. The towering iron gate once again formed a boundary between black and white.

"Stay away from that man! Bruce!" The man protected Bruce tightly behind him, held Bruce's hand tightly, and looked at Arthur warily.

"It's okay, I'm a good man, sir." Arthur stood up and leaned on the railing to explain.

"Then what are you doing here? Who are you?" The man looked at Arthur warily, because the way Arthur was dressed was not someone who could live here at all.

Arthur felt the man's disgusted look and quickly explained: "I'm here to find Mr. Wayne, sir."

The man stared at Arthur and said, "Then you shouldn't talk to his son. Why did you give Bruce flowers?" The man took the clown stick away from Bruce and threw it to Arthur in disgust, as if it were a stick. infected with the virus.

Arthur felt the man's discrimination, but Arthur didn't care. He just looked at the man and said, "No, this is not a real flower. I just want to perform a magic trick."

"I just wanted to make him laugh..." Arthur paused and continued.

"But this isn't funny at all! Isn't it! Do you need me to call the police?!" The man stared at Arthur with disgust and said threateningly.

"Don't do this, please..." Arthur pleaded to the man. After a pause, Arthur looked at the man and continued: "My mother's name is Penny, Penny Frank. She worked here many years ago, could you please tell Mr. Thomas Wayne that I want to meet him?"

"Are you actually her son?" The man looked at Arthur in surprise and asked.

"Yes, do you know my mother too? Penny Frank?" Arthur replied looking at the man, then Arthur held the railing tightly with both hands and said softly: "I know my mother and Thomas. My mother told me everything about Mr. Wayne.”

It only took a short time for the man to calm down. He slowly walked up to Arthur and said lightly: "I have nothing to tell you. The two of them have never been together."

"Your mother is delusional. Do you know she is sick?" The man continued talking while looking into Arthur's eyes.

"Don't talk about my mother like that, okay?" Arthur's eyes began to become fierce, and he grasped the railing tightly with his left hand.

"To be honest, your mother is a lunatic, do you know that? Get out of here, lest you be embarrassed and conspicuous here." The man had already walked up to Arthur and insulted Arthur in the most vicious language.

"Mr. Thomas Wayne is my father!" Arthur stared at the man and said every word.

"Hahahahahahaha, hum, this is really the funniest joke I have ever heard! Everyone in Gotham City hopes that Mr. Wayne is their father!" The man said to Arthur as if he was mocking.

Snapped!Snapped!

Arthur grabbed the man's neck with his left hand, paused, then grabbed the man's collar with his right hand, and strangled the man's neck with his left hand. His eyes were full of ferocity and madness, as if he was trying to kill the man bit by bit. Devoured.

"Don't... let go of me... like this..." The man was choked to the point of suffocation, and his hands were waving feebly.

Just when Arthur was about to vent his madness, his eyes accidentally caught sight of the frightened Bruce Wayne beside him.

In an instant, Arthur's crazy eyes suddenly became clear at this moment. His pupils shrank, and the power of his right hand gradually weakened. He released the man's neck, looked at his hands as if in disbelief, and turned around quickly as if to run away. They ran towards the outside of the manor, leaving only the frightened man and Bruce Wayne who was scared.

The sun gradually set, and there was only a long-haired man running away like a lost dog on the road.
