Chapter 3, Letter from Hogwarts

The next day, Travis was enjoying Fat House Happy Water with fried chicken.

"Feizhai Happy Water is really the greatest invention in human history, and it is a versatile drink that tastes delicious no matter what it is paired with."

Travis took a nice sip.

"It would be better if you weren't an eyesore here."

Travis glanced at the man in a suit sitting on his left, who was taking out a book from his briefcase.

"Master Travis, actually I don't want to disturb your meal, but this time Mr. Clyde asked me to help you with your homework."

"Did his brain get squeezed by the door and he forgot to take his medicine?"

"Mr. Clyde asked me to tell you that he is not sure whether you can go to school there because of your parents. He must make more preparations."

Travis' face darkened.

This tutor really didn't mention anything. He was also worried about this matter, but it was brought up again.

"You go back and tell him that he can have teachers, but they must be young and beautiful female teachers. I have long been sick of seeing the aunts and uncles in this castle."

The tutor pushed up his irritating gold-rimmed glasses: "I will truthfully tell Mr. Clyde the truth when I go back, but now..."

"I won't embarrass you, and don't bother me. You taught me, I'll eat mine, remember to keep your voice down, it's best to just open your mouth without making a sound, and best not to open your mouth at all."

Tutor:

Wouldn't it be better if I just leave?

Although he wanted to do this, his professional ethics did not allow him to do so.

I saw him opening a book and starting to mutter in a voice not much louder than a mosquito. From time to time, he would take a pen and write something in his notebook.

It was a lot of fun to entertain myself, and it seemed like it wasn’t the first time I’d done this.

"There are so many mentally ill patients these days with delusional disorder."

Travis was stunned for a moment, and arcs of electricity began to flash out from his palms unconsciously.

Just when Travis was about to use palm thunder to treat the tutor, a flapping sound of wings interrupted Travis's skill reading, and at the same time, he heard a person running.

"Young Master, Young Master"

"The cat owl is coming"

The housekeeper leaned on the wall and bent over, panting heavily while speaking intermittently.

"I've seen it, you go and rest."

After dismissing the butler casually, Travis looked at the owl hovering on the dining table, focusing on the letter in its mouth.

After circling twice, the owl landed in front of Travis and placed the letter in Travis' hand.

The tutor took one look at it and continued "teaching", thinking that rich people still know how to play, and actually trained owls.

Travis patted the owl's head, picked up a piece of fried chicken and gestured to it, but the owl turned his head and expressed that he was not interested and didn't know whether he was losing weight or something.

Just stood there quietly, very well-behaved.

Picking up the envelope and looking at the four animal patterns that he was obsessed with - lion, eagle, snake, and badger - printed on it, Travis let out a long breath, picked up the owl, and took a sip.

owl:

"I miss you so much. I thought you were detained by customs like the previous owl."

owl:

Tutor:

In his excitement, Travis revealed a little foreign language, but they didn't understand it.

But it doesn't matter, Travis doesn't expect them to understand.

Putting the stunned owl on his lap, Travis removed the paint seal, opened the envelope and took out the letter inside.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

President of the International Federation of Wizards, First-Class Grand Wizard of the Order of Merlin, and Chief Wizard of the Wizengamot

Dear Mr. Clyde:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Enclosed is a list of required books and equipment.

Semester is scheduled to start on September [-].

We will be waiting for your owl to bring your reply before July 31st.

Vice-Chancellor

Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall

"This is it"

Travis waved his fist excitedly, causing a burst of lightning.

The tutor stared blankly. After regaining consciousness, he immediately took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. Everything was as usual.

"It seems I should change my glasses."

The tutor grunted under his breath.

Travis took out a second piece of letter paper and looked at it, frowning.

This piece of paper didn't say where to enter the magical world, nor did it give the address of Diagon Alley.

Travis can freely call the memory space to view memories, but if he forgets the memory before the memory space is completed, he has really forgotten it.

Wait for Hagrid to pick him up

Travis immediately squashed the idea.

Who is he? Dumbledore will send someone to pick him up specially for him.

After thinking about it, Travis's eyes fell on the words "We will be waiting for your owl to bring your reply before July 31st" on the first piece of letter paper.

"If you want me to reply, this owl won't leave even after delivering the letter. It seems like this is the only possibility."

Thinking of this, Travis raised his hand and knocked on the table.

"Who is that? Paper, pen, and envelope."

Tutor:

"I am your temporary teacher, not your servant."

Although he said so, he still handed the pen and paper to Travis.

There was no envelope, so Travis had to press the bell next to the dining table to call the butler to get the envelope, and he started writing a reply.

Dear Vice Principal McGonagall:

It's an honor to hear from you and I'd love to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

But my parents are currently living in Azkaban, and no one else in the family is a wizard. I don't know how to get to Hogwarts or where to buy school supplies.

I also hope you can tell me.

Sincerely, Travis Clyde

After Travis finished writing, the butler happened to bring the envelope and the wax needed for sealing, which was very thoughtful.

Put the letter into an envelope and let the butler help seal the envelope with wax.

I have to say that this butler is really professional. He even took out a seal with the crest of the Clyde family and stamped it on the wax wax on the seal, making it look very formal.

Travis took out a Galleung from his pocket, waved it in front of the owl and stuffed it into its mouth along with the letter.

"Deliver the letter as quickly as possible. I've already paid you the postage, and the rest is your tip."

"But if you lose it"

Travis grabbed the owl by its neck and pointed its head at the fried chicken on the plate: "They are your fate."

owl:

Nodding quickly, the owl flapped its wings and flew away.

After watching the owl leave, Travis turned his head to look at the tutor who was amusing himself again, still wanting to treat him with electricity.

"You can go, go back and tell my uncle that I have received the admission notice from that school."

"But I"

"You and Butler Harris can get the tutoring fee, and I'll give you a double share."

The housekeeper nodded, and at the same time stretched out his hand to signal the teacher to follow him.

Upon hearing the double tutoring fee, the teacher immediately stopped saying anything.

He got one copy before, and now he gets two copies. In other words, he earned six months’ salary in less than 10 minutes.

"Then I won't disturb you, Mr. Clyde"

It takes three seconds to pack things up, that’s a lot of speed
