Hogwarts Mental Rehabilitation Center

Chapter 1, Unreliable Parents

In London, a suburb outside the [-]th Ring Road, there is an old castle in this inaccessible place.

This is the ancestral home of the Clyde family. It has been listed as a protected building by the Daxing government. It cannot be transferred, leased or destroyed. It is waiting for all the direct heirs of the Clyde family to be nationalized.

Currently, apart from the servants, there is only one person living here permanently, Travis Clyde, who is ten years old this year and will be 11 in two hours.

At this time, Travis was sitting on the sofa in the hall. There was a tall tower-shaped birthday cake with eleven layers on the table in front of him. If Travis was allowed to blow out the candles by himself, I'm afraid You have to stand on the table.

But the candles haven't been lit yet, partly because the time has not come yet, and partly because he is waiting for someone, two people, two relatives he has never met.

While waiting silently, Travis read a letter with mixed feelings in his heart.

My dear child, when you read this letter, your 11th birthday will be around the corner. Don’t worry, we will spend this birthday with you.

Ten years ago, when you were about to be one year old, your mother and I looked at you and couldn't help but reflect on your past.

We ask ourselves: What proud past do we have that we can tell you about in the future?

The final answer is: none.

So we decided to do something spectacular and rob Gringotts.

We made adequate preparations, made detailed plans, consulted relevant laws, and specially learned an ancient magic that could resist dementors.

But if you see this letter now, it means that we have finally failed.

The price of failure is a ten-year trip to Azkaban, which means we are now free.

Waiting for us to come back to celebrate your birthday

Love your father and mother

"If you have the time to search and learn that magic, you might be able to succeed if you use it to perfect your plan."

Travis felt very complicated.

There is both expectation, fear, and some resistance.

He is not the Travis he was one year ago. He came into this world when he was three years old and has never met these two people.

Now it is impossible for him to recognize his parents without conflict.

But at the same time, Travis also wanted to get to know this couple with their unique minds, and he also needed seniors who were familiar with the magic world to guide him, even though they might have fallen behind.

However, considering that the magical world is not as fast-changing as the Muggle world, their experience should still play a certain role.

"Today is July [-]st, tomorrow is July [-]nd, and then school starts on September [-]st. Two months is enough for me to have a more comprehensive understanding of the magical world."

Travis collected the letter and put it into the pocket watch hanging on his chest, where it was already.

This is a "legacy" left by his parents.

According to his uncle, his father was a very rebellious wizard. He refused to inherit the Clyde family's huge property. Instead, he left a letter and went to robberies with his mother, or robbed and engaged in robberies in the magical world. After the incident, they had no way to clear up the relationship.

The old man was so angry that he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died on the spot. Later, because there was no news from Travis' parents for a long time, under the pressure of relevant personnel, they had to cooperate to apply for a death certificate for Travis' parents and establish Travis as his father. The next heir to the Clyde family.

Travis's uncle is pretty good to him, not great, but definitely not bad. I don't know if it's because of the blood relationship or because his parents are only serving a fixed-term sentence and can be released again.

Travis once thought that his parents were Death Eaters and the so-called robbery was just an excuse.

I never thought I might as well be a Death Eater.

Boom, boom, boom

With the sound of time, Travis came back to his senses and glanced at the clock. It was already eleven o'clock.

"Did these two people miscalculate the time?"

Travis was a little skeptical.

If they had robbed Gringotts before his first birthday, even if they had been caught that day, the ten-year sentence would not have ended today, taking into account the trial time and all that nonsense.

"It's better to take action earlier."

Travis frowned and decided to wait.

He had nothing to do anyway.

Recently, Travis has stopped messing around and is concentrating on waiting for the admission letter from Hogwarts and then going to school.

"Wait, if they really committed a crime and were imprisoned in Azkaban, can I still go to school?"

While Travis was dazed, suddenly, there was a flapping sound, and Travis saw an owl flying towards him with an envelope in its mouth outside the window.

Since the window was open, the owl flew in smoothly, left a letter, and then flew away.

"Okay, okay, at least I can tell where this letter came from."

Travis, who was breathing a sigh of relief, couldn't help but be startled when he looked at the paint mark on the seal of the envelope.

I don't know it at all.

There were no snakes, eagles, badgers, or lions on the envelope that he knew about.

"Hogwarts has updated the notice style"

Travis comforted himself as he opened the envelope and took out the letter inside.

Dear children, we are so sorry.

Due to a miscalculation of time, there are still three months left before the end of the sentence today. Not only can I not make it in time for your birthday, I can't make it in time to send you to school.

So your mother and I escaped from prison but failed and got five years added to our sentence.

Due to special circumstances, the Ministry of Magic has allowed us to write you this letter.

We are not in a hurry this time, see you in five years.

Or you can come to Azkaban to visit us through Principal Dumbledore after you enroll.

Love your father and mother

By the way, there is a painting in the No. [-] wine cellar of the castle. Behind the painting is my father’s small vault. The key is the pocket watch left for you.

Travis:

groove

After scolding three times in a row, Travis kicked the table to pieces and felt that it was not enough to relieve his anger.

What the hell is this?

"It doesn't matter if you don't come out, I'm afraid you'll have to go in again sooner or later if you come out."

Trying to control his emotions, Travis sat back down.

As for the small treasury mentioned in the letter, go to Te Miao’s small treasury.

Is he short of money?

Yes, he does not have the currency of the magical world, but he has many, many, many pounds.

What he lacks now is a map to the magical world. What he lacks is a guide.

"I'm furious"

"Wizards are indeed insane and need treatment."

A burst of lightning quietly emitted from Travis's hand, crackling continuously.

click

Travis waved hard outside the open window, and a bolt of lightning instantly struck the night sky outside.

I don’t know if it was a coincidence or Travis was too strong, but soon there was lightning and thunder outside.

After a while, it rained.

Travis stood by the window and looked at the heavier rain outside, with a very ugly expression on his face.

suddenly

"The cold icy rain patted the face indiscriminately.

Warm tears mixed with cold rain

The colors before my eyes”

Travis grabbed the window sill with both hands and began to howl.

30 seconds later, a spirited old man with white hair came in carrying a cup on a tray.

"Master, it's time for you to take your medicine."

Travis paused howling.

"I'm not sick, why should I take medicine?"

"But this was specially arranged by you, Master."

"I'm sick, so I'll arrange this for you."
