Iron Altman passing by Marvel

Chapter 14 Finding Clues

Tony enjoyed the attention.

At this time, no one paid attention to the bold blond reporter anymore. People kept rushing to pass the microphone to Stark, trying to get a few words out of the playboy's mouth.

However, Happy, who realized something was wrong, had already squeezed through the crowd to Tony's side and protected him as he walked backstage.

"Tony, please tell us before you change your mind next time so that I can be mentally prepared."

Pepper's eyes were half angry and half helpless. It was foreseeable that she would be busy with things for a long time in the future.

"Hehehe, Pepper, believe me it was just an accident."

Having satisfied his appetite, Tony looked at Pepper with a look of flattery in his eyes.

The oral pleasure felt good for a while, but if the crematorium made this all-powerful little assistant angry afterward, God knows if all the official duties would drive him crazy.

"Sir, this is what happened. Apparently, that playboy tricked us again."

In the director's office, Coulson reluctantly reported what happened in the morning to Nick Fury.

"I'm not surprised that that guy would do this. In comparison, I'm more concerned about the identity of the mysterious man who appeared last night."

Buried in processing the documents at hand, Director Nick responded without raising his head.

"Tony Stark was tight-lipped and had no intention of telling us what the conversation was about."

Coulson shook his head, feeling that there was little hope.

"Keep an eye on him. Since the mysterious man is willing to communicate with our playboy, and he still chooses such a coincidence, it is obvious that Stark has something that the other party needs."

"As time goes by, the other party will always reveal its flaws."

After signing the last name, Nick Fury calmly raised his head and said firmly.

"Understood, sir."

Phil Coulson suddenly understood and stood upright with a solemn expression.

"You go down first, I will rearrange people around him to follow."

Glancing at the communicator on the side, the King of Agents waved his hand and issued an order to expel guests.

Not long after, a tall female agent with black hair and blue eyes walked in from the door.

"Lock the door."

Nick gestured toward the door with his mouth open, and Agent Hill understood.

"What is the result of what I want you to investigate?"

Nick Fury held his chin together with his hands together and remained calm.

"Sir, your guess is correct. The analysis results show that the material remaining in the melted part of Iron Overlord is the same material that we extracted from the remains of the alien creature before."

Agent Hill said as he handed a piece of information to Nick Fury.

"So this mysterious man is most likely the murderer of the alien creature. At worst, there is some connection between them."

The Director-General narrowed his eyes slightly and his tone was uncertain.

"Sir, although it's a bit arbitrary to say this, I don't think that mysterious man has any ill intentions towards us. He has never appeared in front of us, nor has he caused any social unrest."

After hesitating for a moment, Hill expressed his opinion.

"Whether he has malicious intentions or not, his mere existence poses a threat to the stability of society."

Nick Fury stood up from his chair.

"This world has never been truly safe. It used to be Hydra, then it was mutants, and now there is a visitor from the universe. Captain America is no longer here. We must have the means to protect ourselves."

Looking at the document that had been on the table for some time, the King of Agents gradually made a decision in his heart.

To the outside world, Tony's words coupled with a photo of a gold-red steel suit flying in the air became a global hit in a very short period of time.

In just half a day, everyone around the world knew that Tony Stark, the billionaire and New York's most famous playboy, was Iron Man.

Not to mention the newspapers that worked overtime to print new newspapers and periodicals, and the crowds who curiously gathered around the Stark Building, hoping to catch a glimpse of Iron Man.

As the protagonist at the center of the storm, our playboy is currently very leisurely nesting in the basement of the newly renovated mansion, sorting out the video data recorded by Jarvis last night.

"Sir, I think there is something that may interest you."

As the pinnacle of contemporary science and technology, Jarvis has not yet reached the point where artificial intelligence can fully think about itself, but its speed of data analysis and data indexing is world-class.

It didn't take long for the compiled video data to be sent to the man with the mustache.

"Play all, Jarvis."

Pouring a glass of bourbon, Tony drank while paying attention to the picture.

The clip highlighted by Jarvis was not very long, and it had already been played over and over before the wine bottomed out.

"Wait a minute, Jarvis, it's wrong to play back 30 seconds forward. Five seconds forward, yes, that's right here."

The picture was frozen, enlarged, and marked at the second before the missile bombarded the sports car. There, on the driver's seat of the silver-gray Lamborghini, a dazzling white light blurred the entire picture.

"Incredible, isn't it?"

Without noticing that the wine in the glass was already dripping on his clothes, Tony stared at the screen and muttered to himself.

"If it's not that your lens is malfunctioning, then there's something fishy about the other party. Obviously, I don't think the former is possible."

Mr. Stark is very confident in his work.

"Jarvis, investigate all the information about this car, including its driving route in the past week."

Something sparkling flashed in his eyes, and Tony felt that he had vaguely grasped the truth.

Not long after, Bruce Hammer and the co-pilot, Becky, who looked confused, had all the information they could collect at this stage delivered to them.

After browsing through Bruce's personal information at a glance, Tony Stark couldn't help but pump his fist to express the joy in his heart at this moment.

He could almost conclude that Bruce Hammer was the mysterious Iron Warrior.

"Hey, is this Pepper? Send an invitation to Hammer Industries and say I sincerely invite you."

Having made up his mind, Tony couldn't wait to pick up the phone and call Pepper Potts, asking her to arrange a meeting with him.

"Sir, several suspicious-looking cars were found around us. After investigation, they are suspected to be S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicles."

Jarvis's words interrupted someone's whim.

Tony frowned and stopped mid-sentence.

"Hey, Tony, what's going on over there?"

Pepper Potts, who had already suffered from psychological shadows, felt his heart tighten when he heard the sudden silence on the other side, and asked quickly.

"Uh, nothing."

Tony forced a smile.

"I suddenly remembered that I haven't made an appointment with this month's Playboy cover girl, so I just wanted to tell you to hang up."

Looking for a random excuse, Stark hung up the phone with a gloomy expression. He didn't want the guys from SHIELD to know about it.

Then just wait. Anyway, the other party made an appointment with me to meet at night. Isn’t it just half a day’s work?

Mr. Stark, who sat on the sofa frustratedly and had never waited for anyone for most of his life, felt that for the first time in his life, every day seemed like a year.

On the other side, Pepper Potts, who had become the new president of Stark Industries, took a deep breath to suppress the anger in his heart, and reluctantly put on a smile again and looked at Stark's new assistant in front of him.

"As we all know, Tony often has some wild ideas, so being his assistant is not an easy task. Are you mentally prepared for this, Miss Natalie?"

The other party's eyes moved slightly, and her good ear skills allowed her to easily intercept some key words in Tony's phone call.Seeing Boz look over, he naturally returned to his previous polite smile with some restraint.

"No problem at all."
