Clarke

Chapter 38 Alien

Tony dialed the phone.

"Clark, it's me. How's your vacation going? I have a surgery and I want your help."

Clark was stirring the mashed potatoes in the kitchen, tilting his head and holding his cell phone between his hands.

"What kind of surgery do I need to do?"

Tony stood in front of the mirror and looked at the reactor on his chest.

"I plan to take out the fragment from my chest. After thinking about it, it might be easier for you to do this surgery."

Clark took the pot and turned off the heat.

"Okay, when are you free?"

Tony buttoned his shirt and patted his chest.

"How about tomorrow? I'm still cleaning up my house. As you know, my house was bombed." For details, please refer to the movie Iron Man 3

Clark returned to the kitchen and took out the utensils.

"Yes, I saw it on TV. You should have asked me to go."

Tony came to the work table and browsed the information on the computer.

"Hey, I'm Iron Man, I can handle it."

Clark set the tableware and called Jonathan and Martha to come eat.

"Okay, then where should I find you tomorrow?"

Tony focused on the information and said casually.

"Avengers Tower, that's it, thanks."

Clark heard the call being hung up, shook his head and put the phone away to have lunch with Jonathan and Martha.

......

The next day, Avengers Tower.

Tony lay on the operating table and looked at Clark, who was organizing tools next to him.

"Are you sure you don't need an assistant?"

Clark shook his head and pointed at the dejected Benben in the corner next to him.

"How about letting it help me."

Benben raised his head when he heard its name.

Tony firmly refused.

"No, it will kill me."

Benben continued to be dejected.

Clark shrugged and picked up the scalpel.

"Okay, let's get started then."

Tony was a little nervous and looked up at Clark.

"Wait a minute, you haven't looked carefully at the scan next to it."

Clark's right hand steadily opened the skin next to the reactor.

"Don't worry, I'm already scanning you. There are six fragments in total."

Tony was stunned for a moment and slowly lowered his head.

"Well, I forgot you could see it."

Tony suddenly became excited and asked curiously.

"What does it feel like to have this kind of penetrating vision?"

Clark kept working on his hands.

"Just like that, you won't feel anything after seeing it too much. When I was a kid, I could often see the facial bones of my classmates."

Tony smacked his lips.

"It doesn't sound like much, please be gentle."

Clark placed the removed reactor on the table next to him and stared into Tony's chest through his chest.

"Well, there are two pieces that are deeper, and the others are easy to take out."

Tony's breathing hitched.

"Then what are you waiting for? Come on, time is running out."

Clark found the target, and his right hand suddenly sped up, and even swung out an afterimage.

"Ahhh"

Tony was so frightened that he yelled, and suddenly saw Clark stop moving, and looked at Clark blankly as he stopped shouting.

Clark used tweezers to hold a small piece of debris and brought it to Tony's eyes.

"This one is the deepest. Do you want to keep it as a souvenir?"

After Clark finished speaking, he threw all six fragments into the small disk on the table next to him.

Tony looked up at Clark.

“That’s it”

Clark picked up a refrigerated box and opened it. Inside was a small piece of flesh and blood.

"Yes, now we need to use this artificial embryo provided by Dr. Helen to fill the gap in your chest. Lie down."

Tony lay down sadly and let Clark do whatever he wanted.

"I wasn't ready for it, I thought it was going to be a little more subtle."

......

a few hours later.

Tony stood in front of the mirror, gently stroking the smooth skin on his chest.

Clark stood in front of the operating table to clean up and glanced at Tony.

"You've been looking at it for a few minutes. Do you want to see if your breasts have gotten bigger?"

Tony turned around and buttoned up his shirt.

"I just haven't seen my chest in a few years, and I'm still a little unaccustomed to the lack of a big hole.".

Clark took off his white coat and threw it into the recycling bin.

"Then you have to get used to it."

Tony smiled freely.

"I'm throwing a party, do you want to come?"

Clark shook his head and pointed at Tony's chest.

"I won't go. I suggest you also practice some cultivation."

Tony obviously didn't listen.

"Jarvis, send me an invitation..."

Clark smiled helplessly, turned and left.

......

Clark took off from New York and was about to return to Kansas. He saw a fire breaking out during the flight. When he was hesitant, he heard the fire alarm.

Clark smiled to himself and flew away from New York.

Clark moved through the clouds, and the moonlight reflected off the clouds and onto Clark.

Clark was enjoying the leisurely moment when he suddenly heard an unusual sound.

Clark looked into the distance with a serious expression.

"what is that"

Clark made up his mind and flew in the direction of the sound.

A few minutes later, London, England.

It was only evening when Clark left New York, and it was already late at night here in London.

Clark took advantage of the darkness to go to the place where the sound came from, an abandoned factory in the suburbs.

Clark walked into the abandoned factory building and discovered an unusual place in the center of the building.

In the center of the hall, more than two meters above the ground, air is constantly flowing into an invisible space.

Clark looked around, picked up a stone from the side and threw it into the air in the hall.

"whoosh"

The stone seemed to have passed through something while flying and disappeared into the air.

Clark frowned and looked at this "portal".

Clark picked up a steel pipe next to him, flew up and handed the steel pipe out.

The steel pipe disappeared into the void somewhere.

Clark took the steel pipe and stabbed it a few times without feeling any resistance.

Clark pulled out the steel pipe and observed carefully that there was no damage to the steel pipe.

Throwing the steel pipe aside, Clark suddenly flew towards the "portal".

......

As soon as Clark entered the "portal" and disappeared, a thin figure wearing a hood suddenly appeared.

The thin figure raised his head and looked at the "portal", unable to see clearly the expression hidden under the hood.

......

Across from the "portal", Clark floated out of the air.

Clark looked around, it seemed like a desert.

The earth was a lifeless deep black, and the mountains in the distance were also black, and it looked like there should be some kind of mineral deposits.

The clouds in the sky drifted slowly, and a huge earth-yellow planet hung in the sky.

Clark was speechless when he saw this planet. He just felt that there was something wrong with the gravity here, and there was no need to verify it now.

Clark turned around and walked back, but found that he couldn't go back. He flew over just a few places and still couldn't find the portal he came from.

Clark looked at the khaki planet in the sky and the starry sky that he had never seen before. He sighed and accepted the reality. Fortunately, there was still oxygen here.

Clark adapted to the different gravity here from the earth, slowly floated up, accelerated rapidly in the air, broke through the sound barrier and flew out.

Ten minutes later, Clark landed sadly and sat down on a hillside.

Clark spent more than ten minutes flying around the planet beneath his feet.

This is an uninhabited planet. Although there are some stone buildings, they have long been abandoned.

Clark looked up at the stars and thought of Jonathan, Martha, and Joe.

And that Mexican grill in New York.
