All things are three at Hogwarts

Chapter 216 Darkroom Secret Mirror (Revised)

Allen and Luna walked around in this wide underground space, exploring the contents inside.

Fang was sniffing along the wall.

Despite the dim lighting, this basement looks very habitable.

Everything you need to live at home is complete.

"But who will live here?" Allen muttered inwardly.

"Hufflepuff's dormitory is underground." Luna said suddenly.

Then thinking of Rowena Ravenclaw's statue and Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, an idea came to Allen's mind!

"Helga Hufflepuff!" Ellen blurted.

"What?" Luna asked confused.

"It's very possible that we accidentally entered Helga Hufflepuff's secret realm." The excitement in Alan's tone could not be concealed.

Luna's big silver-gray eyes were fixed on Allen for a moment, which made Allen regain his sense.

"Hey, what are Yaya doing?" Luna suddenly asked.

Allen followed her line of sight and looked forward, only to see Yaya's tail swinging behind a pile of tall dishes, and he could hear it grabbing something hard.

"Be careful, Yaya!" Allen shouted.

Instead of paying attention to Allen, it grabbed even harder.

"Ya Ya, what are you grabbing for?"

"Maybe you're catching a mouse?" Luna reminded.

"Ya?" Allen called, walking around the large dining table, passing through the dishes that had been wiped sparkling and neatly arranged, and soon saw Yaya scratching the floor.

"Hey, Luna!" Allen waved to Luna repeatedly, "Ya found a secret door."

"Excellent!" Luna's tone rarely stopped being erratic, and her eyes were filled with excitement and curiosity.

"Ya Ya!" Allen squatted down and took the dog away from the door, "Let's see what you found!"

As soon as Allen held Yaya away, Yaya completely lost interest in the door.

It ran to one side and started sniffing in another corner.

Yaya's attention is easily diverted, and Allen thinks this may be one of the differences between dogs and humans.

The heavy rain continued to pour down, making a huge roar above Alan and Luna's heads.

Allen seemed to hear the sound of strong wind blowing by.

Allen thought that some kind of magic spell would be needed to open this door.

Unexpectedly, he grabbed the door handle and lifted it gently, and the crooked wooden door swung open.

Allen opened the door, the door chain creaked, and he saw darkness inside.

Allen removed the door panel and put it aside.

This is necessary in case someone from above locks them underground.

Allen has not forgotten the feeling of being spied on when he first arrived at the mushroom house.

He didn't know if the secret peeper was the invisible man mentioned by the system, but it was very necessary to be vigilant at all times.

Allen and Luna climbed down the ladder covered with vines.

"Lumos!" Luna and Alan's wands illuminated the small room below.

The room was dark, and the only light was the pale yellow light coming from outside the door panel that Allen had just opened.

"This place is really big. It doesn't look like a closet." Luna said, her voice more ethereal than usual. "What on earth is this?"

"Just a room, I guess," said Alan, trying to adjust his eyes to the dim light in the room.

He held his wand high and took another step into the room.

At this moment, he suddenly saw a black figure taking a step closer to him.

This startled Alan and he quickly took a step back.

But the black shadow also jumped back.

"That's a mirror, Ellen!" Luna said, starting to laugh.

Allen looked carefully and saw that there was indeed a mirror in front of them.

In the light of the two wands, Alan saw clearly.

This is a large rectangular mirror, two feet taller than Allen. The frame is made of brown wood, and the mirror is placed on a wooden base.

Alan moved closer, and Alan in the mirror moved forward to welcome him.

To Alan's surprise, his reflection in the mirror appeared clear.

Although the wooden door just looked a bit rotten and opened as soon as it was pulled, the mirror surface was spotless.

Allen stood in front of the mirror and looked at it.

"Reveal your original form!"

"Tell me your secret."

Alan tapped the mirror with his wand and cast spells repeatedly.

"Ellen, I think the mirror is for looking at things, isn't it?" Luna also stood in front of the mirror.

Allen looked around, it was empty, there was nothing except the mirror.

"Who would leave a mirror alone in a room?" Luna asked.

Alan could see her dark shadow in the mirror, just a few steps behind him.

"Maybe this mirror has other functions. Do you know the Mirror of Erised?" Alan began to think about what he wanted.

But it didn't help.

"Of course I know, but the Mirror of Erised was taken away by Dumbledore."

Luna touched the mirror and asked, "Could it be Helga Hufflepuff's dressing mirror?"

Allen didn't answer.

"Hey Luna, look!" Ellen said.

He discovered a magic lamp mounted on the top of the mirror, an oval lamp made of brass or other metal.

A round object similar to a crystal ball is suspended in it.

Allen stared at it in the dim light, trying to understand it clearly, "How do I turn on the light?"

"There is a chain here." Luna walked to Allen and said.

Sure enough, there was a thin chain hanging from the right side of the lamp, hanging just a foot from the top of the mirror.

"Let's try it and see if it works," Allen said.

"It must be possible," Luna said firmly.

Allen turned to look at her. Luna also looked at Allen, "There are no harassing flies here."

He didn't know if he had harassed Allen, but he appreciated Luna's calmness and optimism even more.

Allen stood on tiptoes and stretched his arms to pull the chain.

"Be careful." Luna warned.

"Huh?" Allen exclaimed, the chain didn't move at all!

"Ellen, maybe you need to use magic." Luna guessed.

"But what magic is used?" Allen found it a bit difficult to guess.

"Maybe like looking into a crystal ball? Input magic?"

A silver thread shot out from the top of Luna's wand and poured into the crystal ball along the long chain of lights.

There was a flash of bright light, and the magic lamp unexpectedly lit up, and then dimmed again. Its brightness was no different from that of an ordinary lamp.

Bright white light reflects off the mirror.

"Hey Luna, good on you!" Alan yelled. "The whole room lights up. It's so bright, isn't it?"

However, no one spoke.
