All things are three at Hogwarts

Chapter 192 The Book of Death (Revised)

Allen quickly turned over and entered the golden coffin, closing the lid.

As the first boulder fell, the underground tomb shook even more violently.

The three people hiding in the golden coffin were knocked around and hit the wall.

"What on earth is going on?" Pain and panic attacked Nancy's nerves, and she couldn't help shouting.

"No matter what it is, as long as you can save your life, everything will be fine!" Ron leaned on the corner of the coffin, feeling dizzy from the impact.

"Follow me!" Allen supported Nancy who ran into his arms, speaking calmly.

"Where?" Ron and Nancy asked in unison.

"There is an emergency exit in the coffin," Allen explained. "There is a small exit. The Egyptians built hidden doors and emergency exits in many mummy coffins to allow the soul of the corpse to leave."

"Wow!" Ron exclaimed in surprise, and Nancy sobbed with excitement.

"Come on, you two follow me."

The boulder fell on the top of the golden coffin, and the loud sound seemed to burst the eardrums.

There was a buzzing in the ears of the three people.

Allen turned around in the huge coffin and straightened up.

He pushed open the small hidden door behind the coffin and got out.

The exit was very small, just big enough for them to crawl out.

I don’t know how long I have been crawling in the low cave, but the sounds of rumbling and collapsing boulders were far behind me.

When they could finally stand upright after their backs ached from climbing, they found themselves in an empty temple.

The owner of the temple is Osiris, the god who specializes in measuring the merits and demerits of the world.

"Ah!" Nancy exclaimed, "that mummy!"

Ron opened his mouth exaggeratedly, "Isn't he dead yet?"

"Don't worry, this is just a realistic statue!" Allen comforted.

The sculpture of Tutankhamun kneels before Osiris on the throne of the Lord, with a cobra painted on his forehead and a wand lying flat on the ground.

Osiris on the colorful throne, holding a scepter and a divine whip in his hands.

His skin is green, he wears a tall hat, and has a black columnar beard. His expression is very solemn, and he seems to be considering how to arrange the undead in front of him.

"We may no longer be within the scope of the pyramid." Allen carefully observed the surrounding environment and came to the conclusion.

"Where are we?" Ron asked.

Nancy also looked at Allen eagerly. How she wished she could escape from this nightmare place as soon as possible!

"I don't know where it is, but what I'm sure of is that there must be a water source nearby." Allen replied affirmatively, "Look, there are traces of water flooding on the walls and the ground."

"Hey, what is that?" Allen walked towards the lotus throne located in the center of the temple and surrounded by four pillars.

A black scroll was quietly placed in the center of the throne.

Allen wrapped his hands in the wonderful wizard robe and gently unfolded the scroll. He found that in addition to some hieroglyphs that he couldn't understand, various lifelike pictures, and some ancient magic texts!

Allen recognized the top few words of the Book of Death!

The following lines are to the effect: Osiris, God of the Underworld, I have opened a path for myself, I follow in the footsteps of Horus, I am a holy lotus growing out of the land of Ra, please be wise and loving, and see clearly. My qualities, I am a sinless soul of the dead, please grant me eternal life.

Those exquisite patterns depict how Tutankhamun poured his soul into the scarab-shaped amulet in order to obtain God's protection and seek eternal life.

Allen translated these words to Ron and Nancy, and received confused expressions from them.

"Who is Horus?" Nancy asked first, looking forward to finding a way out of here.

"Horus is the son of the god Osiris above. The Eye of Horus represents the ability to distinguish good from evil, protect people's health, and help the dead to resurrect."

Allen explained based on what was on the picture.

"Why did he want to turn himself into a dung beetle?" Ron looked disgusted.

"The ancient Egyptians called the dung beetle the scarab, which is a symbol of resurrection and birth."

Allen felt that after Tutankhamun predicted his death, he painstakingly planned his resurrection four thousand years later.

Ron snorted disdainfully, "Look at those densely packed mummies! You found so many people to bury with you, and you still dare to claim that you are innocent!"

"So he suffered four thousand years of imprisonment in vain and will never live forever!" Nancy looked at the majestic god on the throne in awe.

"Is there anything in the book about how we can get out?" Ron asked eagerly.

"As long as we escape Black Orlov's curse, we can return to the human world."

Allen read the Book of Death carefully. It was simply a guide to reincarnation!

"We didn't recite the resurrection spell, are we going to be cursed too?" Nancy's heart went crazy when she thought of these weird things that happened tonight.

"Actually, it was Tutankhamun himself who uttered the spell!" Allen shrugged.

But "Black Orlov"?

Eye of the Creator?

Is it the energy stone the system is looking for?

Allen thought of the huge black gem on Tutankhamun's wand.

He summoned the wand, and the black gem on the wand rose into the air, flew straight to the scepter in Osiris' hand on the throne, and merged with the scepter.

The three of them wanted to walk over and take a closer look.

Suddenly there was darkness in the temple, and there was a crunch under Nancy's feet.

She screamed and threw herself forward.

The thing slipped away from her feet.

Alan felt something brush against his ankle.

He immediately kicked it out with all his strength, but he didn't hit anything.

Allen wanted to cast a fluorescent spell, but was shocked to find that magic was forbidden here! All spells cannot be cast!

"Oh, help!" Ron and Nancy shouted in horror.

There are some small animals on the ground, many, many.

But what is it?

Ron immediately thought of spiders.

The crawling sound of these little critters is very similar to that of spiders.

Something tapped Allen's ankle again, and he stamped his feet desperately.

In the darkness, Allen felt that the entire ground was moving. The ground was moving forward like waves, rolling, shaking, and boiling under his feet.

Something crawled up Alan's leg.

That thing was hard and had thorns on it.

There were constant clicking and snapping sounds, as if animals were biting each other.

Nancy gasped, her chest heaving, and her whole body was gripped by waves of fear.

Ron was scared out of his mind. In his mind, everything crawling on the ground, under his feet, and on his body were all spiders, densely packed with spiders.

But Allen felt that these animals had barbs and did not look like spiders.
