All things are three at Hogwarts
Chapter 182 A First Exploration of the Pyramid (Revised)
Bill handed them a bag of gold galleons, "This is your reward for catching the horse-shaped sea monster, a total of 400 gold galleons. The prices here are lower, and the reward amount is far less than that in the UK. Don't dislike it."
The number seems small, but it is quite heavy in your hand.
Ron was overjoyed. He had never received gold Galleons before.
But George snatched the gold coin from Ron's hand and gave it to Alan.
"These rewards should belong to Alan. If it weren't for him, we would all be dead at the bottom of the river." Fred and George had a clear understanding and agreed that the prizes should belong to Alan.
"Not to mention, he lost Neptune because of it!" George added.
Ron nodded desperately on the sidelines, feeling ashamed that he had just seen money.
"Well, I propose that this money be used to fund our tours and purchase of food and souvenirs." Of course, Allen would not keep all the gold coins to himself.
There are actually many benefits to doing this. Without this money, Allen would be embarrassed to buy local specialties and feast on them when everyone is eating the sandwiches made by Mrs. Weasley.
In this way, everyone is happy and the quality of Ellen's travel in Egypt can be guaranteed.
It's very dry outside and the heat is overwhelming.
It's hard for you to believe that there was a heavy rain here last night, just like Muggles have no idea about the battle in the Nile last night.
The pyramids are the tombs of the ancient Egyptian emperors and pharaohs and are one of the seven wonders of the world.
The most amazing thing about the pyramid is that it is made of stones weighing thousands of tons, and there is no adhesion between the stones. It is only built by the overlapping and interlocking of the stones.
Muggles thought this was very incredible in ancient times, so there were different opinions on the construction of the pyramid.
Some think it was built with the blood and tears of the ancient Egyptian people, while others think it was built by aliens.
How the pyramids were built is no secret to wizards.
Ancient Egyptian wizards were very resourceful and thoughtful.
They serve those in power, and at the same time, they use the power of the whole country to experiment with their own magic.
Standing in front of the pyramid, Allen looked up at the gleaming pyramid in the desert, imagining the majesty of the ancient wizard.
"If you didn't insist on coming here, I wouldn't come here to eat sand!" A beautiful young woman in a white dress said with disdain, attracting surprised looks from the surrounding tourists.
"What's so interesting about a tomb made of piles of stones?" The woman stared back at each one without showing any signs of weakness.
"Ignorant Muggle!" George was glared at with displeasure.
Allen noticed that his wand moved under his sun protection clothing, and he was curious. He couldn't help walking over and asked in a low voice: "What spell did you cast?"
"It's nothing, it just makes Muggles more susceptible to misfortune." George and Fred winked and smiled.
"Be careful, Mr. Weasley is committed to the protection of Muggles. If he knew what you were doing..." Alan gave them a wishful look.
"Come here, follow me." Bill took some water and food from the car and distributed them to everyone.
"This is the entrance for Muggles to visit. We wizards have another entrance." Bill explained.
Everyone followed Bill and walked into a hidden path behind the pyramid.
"This place has been put under a Muggle-repelling spell. Muggles will not walk in here." Bill showed a visit permit to the doorman in blue uniform.
"Now, let's follow closely, okay? Don't run around. The tunnel inside is indeed like a maze, and it's easy to get lost." Bill warned seriously.
Allen felt that his words were obviously directed at the twin brothers.
"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on them," Percy said.
Fred and George made playful faces.
Alan felt that if Percy hadn't said that, the twin brothers might still have followed the army.
Now, it's hard to say what they would do to Percy.
After a while, the group passed through a small square entrance and entered the stone chamber.
Alan hunched over and followed them through a narrow tunnel that seemed to slope gradually downward.
Bill led the way, his wand lighting the way.
The floor of the pyramid is soft and has a lot of sand on it. The air was cold and damp.
"The walls are made of granite," said Mr. Weasley, pausing to run his hand over the low ceiling. "All the tunnels are paved with limestone."
This action seemed to be contagious. Everyone couldn't help but touch the top with their hands, including Allen.
A burst of energy entered Allen's body, and Allen was stunned.
The system voice sounded in his mind: "Sudden mission: save the trapped souls, limited to one month. If the mission is successful, you will be rewarded with a lottery opportunity."
Fortunately, the time limit is one month, which is exactly the time Allen can stay in Egypt.
Allen felt that it was not urgent yet and he could complete the task after he was fully prepared.
The top priority is to visit carefully and explore ways to complete the mission.
But then, the second system tone sounded again: "Unexpected mission: Find the energy stone of the pyramid, time limit is one month. If the mission is successful, you will be rewarded with a lottery opportunity."
It's a system that's usually very quiet, almost allowing people to ignore its existence. Why is it that once you enter the pyramid, it's like you've been injected with blood?
There were two tasks in a row, and there was still no clue, which gave Allen a sense of urgency.
Allen is the kind of person who either does nothing or does his best if he does.
Allen was a little anxious to complete two difficult tasks in just one month.
"Bill, have you heard of the Pyramid Energy Stone?" Allen walked a few steps quickly and rushed to Bill at the front, deciding to consult Bill first.
"There is such a legend." Bill glanced at Allen in surprise. This little wizard had a rich reserve of knowledge. He even knew about the pyramid energy stone!
"Ancient Egyptian wizards preserved the bodies of pharaohs and made perfect mummies. These mummies can be preserved for thousands of years!" Bill glanced at Allen.
"This is because of the energy stone in the pyramid. The mysterious energy of the energy stone can quickly dehydrate the corpse and accelerate it to become a mummy, waiting for one day they can be resurrected." Bill patiently told Alan.
"This mysterious power is definitely not hearsay. Even Muggles, scientists have verified it." Mr. Arthur Weasley interjected with interest.
"How do you know?" Bill asked in surprise.
"I did a little homework before coming here." Mr. Weasley smiled and took out a rusty gold coin.
He handed the gold coin to Allen: "You can try it. When we go out, the gold coin may be able to return to its original appearance. This is due to the influence of the energy stone."
