Hogwarts Pet Master
Chapter 70 End of Semester
At noon the next day, Kerry and the others climbed out of bed in a daze. They were still mentally exhausted. Their bodies had been exhausted yesterday. Originally there were classes in the morning, but Professor McGonagall saw them go back at 4 a.m. last night, so they were given special permission to take a break in the morning.
"Quack" "Meow" Snoopy and Leif chatted wordlessly on the windowsill.
Kerry looked at the cat and toad getting along well, smiled sleepily, and murmured: "It's easy to form bonds after fighting side by side."
The four of them washed up and tidied up their appearance a little before heading down to the lounge. The strange thing is that there is no figure of Hermione in the lounge. Normally, the day after a night out, she would be here reading a book and waiting for them to show up.
"Where did Hermione go?" Ron looked around.
"Why did she abandon us friends?" Harry said with wide eyes.
"Maybe I went to class, after all, the exam is not far away." Kerry said.
They left the lounge and headed to the cafeteria hall. Many people smiled at them and said hello along the way.
Ron and Neville were surprised. Kerry and Harry were both pet masters and an excellent Quidditch seeker. It was normal and common for someone to say hello. But today, the two of us who are a little bit transparent, actually encountered this kind of thing, which is a bit magical.
"It seems that what happened last night was exposed," Kerry said calmly.
"How is it possible that we have been together since last night and never said these things?" Harry said.
"Hermione" Neville asked.
"Definitely not," Kerry said. "Qi Luo should have classes for other grades in the morning. He probably didn't show up, which aroused speculation among the students."
"Does everyone else know what happened last night?" Ron asked.
"Maybe the professors revealed a little bit, but probably not much."
Entering the hall, the Gryffindor students saw their arrival. Whoever made the start gave them applause. As Kerry guessed, others should know part of their story.
Fred and George came over and hugged them.
"It's amazing that he actually discovered and defeated Quirrell, a dark wizard." Fred said with a smile.
"But you guys are really not friends enough. You didn't call us when there was such an exciting thing." George said.
After the twins finished speaking, they gave each of the four a hammer blow.
They came to an empty seat at the long table. At this time, Hermione was surrounded by several girls. Although she didn't know what they were talking about, looking at their excited expressions, they were talking about last night.
As soon as Ron sat down, he wanted to brag about his heroic deeds to Seamus next to him, but Kerry stopped him. I don't know how much the students knew at the moment. If he spilled the beans, he would be easily punished.
"Hey, Fred, how do you know?" he asked tentatively.
"Quirrell has Defense Against the Dark Arts classes for grades six and seven in the morning, but Snape takes over them."
"You also know that Snape is targeting Gryffindor, so students from two grades asked where Quirrell went. Finally, Professor McGonagall, the dean, told the story that Quirrell became a dark wizard and was discovered and defeated by you. "
The twins each told Kerry all the information he wanted in one sentence.
It seemed that Voldemort's affairs were not exposed. Kerry signaled to Ron that he could carry out his bragging operation, and at the same time, his eyes warned him not to expose what he shouldn't say.
Ron blinked at him in understanding, and then started chatting with Seamus and the people around him.
Snape got the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor position he had always wanted. Although it was only temporary, it was enough to make him happy. On the contrary, the Gryffindor students screamed repeatedly, and their scores dropped steadily because of Snape.
One week later, the last Quidditch match began. Gryffindor played against Ravenclaw. Kerry was still a scoring machine. Harry caught the Golden Snitch again. Gryffindor was led by two generals. Successfully got the Quidditch trophy.
Wood's last wish at Hogwarts was finally fulfilled, and at the same time Kerry also solved his great-great-grandfather's first task.
More than a month later, they finally ushered in the final exam. In the days before the exam, they all stayed in the library for several weeks under Hermione's supervision. Harry and the others were miserable during that time.
After the last course of History of Magic ended, the students cheered together and shouted that it was time for a holiday.
On the benches in the courtyard, Kerry and his group were sitting on benches, bathing in the last sunlight of dusk.
"I feel like this exam is pretty easy," Ron said, squinting his eyes.
"I think so too, but it's all Hermione's fault." Neville said.
Hermione smiled knowingly when she heard the two scumbags praising her son. "This is all due to your hard work and has nothing to do with me."
"No, it's all because you take care of them like a mother, that's why you have such a good result," Kerry joked.
"Are you saying I'm old or that I'm long-winded?" Hermione looked directly at Kerry with wide eyes.
Harry looked at his friends and thought that the holidays were coming, and he really didn't want to go back to the Dursleys' house.
A few nights later, Hogwarts held its year-end banquet in the Great Hall. This year, because of Kerry, Gryffindor had been in the lead until it finally won the first place without any suspense.
A bright red ribbon hung above the hall, along with the Gryffindor emblem. The Gryffindor students greeted their house number one with deafening cheers.
The next day, the results were announced. Kerry was first overall, Hermione was second, and the rest were all above average. What they didn't expect was that Draco actually took third place. This arrogant boy was still a top scorer. A perfect academic master.
Before leaving school, Harry received a letter from Dumbledore and a photo album of Harry's parents. The letter said that the photo album was made from photos collected from friends of Harry's parents, and that the Philosopher's Stone had been destroyed that night.
On the Hogwarts Express, Harry kept looking through the photo album, tears welling up in his eyes. Finally, the train stopped at Platform 9 and 4/3 of King's Cross Station again.
As soon as Harry got out of the car, he saw his aunt and uncle. He thought they wouldn't have a good look on them, but he never thought that they waved, then walked over to him, hugged him, and kissed his forehead. He was stunned. These two people couldn't be fake.
Kerry looked at the very familiar rings on the hands of the two people and smiled knowingly.
Welcomed by their respective families, the five friends separated, but they also agreed to keep in touch with each other through letters during the holidays.
