Hogwarts Pet Master

Chapter 40 The game officially begins

Quidditch starts today.

The weather is still cold today, and the entire castle is wrapped in a snow-white coat. Fortunately, there is enough sunshine, but occasionally there will be a few active little snowflakes dancing down.

"Ah, bathing in the sunshine in winter is the best enjoyment."

Kerry was lying lazily on a bench in the castle courtyard. Next to him were Hermione, Ron, Neville, a cat, and a toad. Harry was the only one wandering around. As for Banban, that guy refused to leave the dormitory because he was afraid of the cold. The sun just fell on this area, and their bodies were warmed by the heat.

Ron looked at Harry and then at Kerry. Both of them were going to participate in the competition. I really couldn't understand why one was trembling with nervousness while the other was so relaxed as if nothing had happened.

"Harry, sit down for a while," Ron called, "It's not even nine o'clock yet, and there are still two hours before the game starts."

"No, my feet can't help but tremble as soon as I sit down," Harry said.

"Take a deep breath, calm down, don't think about the game, think about other things, such as interesting things, delicious things, etc." Hermione suggested.

"Speaking of delicious food, I'm a little unhappy. Why does the game start at 11 o'clock? If we can't catch the Golden Snitch in a game, then we will always be hungry," Kerry said dissatisfied.

"It seems to be true, but we spectators don't have this problem. When you've seen enough, you can come back for dinner," Neville said.

"I suddenly didn't want to play the game."

"You say that, and I'm very unhappy. What do you think of someone like me who wants to fight but doesn't get a chance?" Ron shouted loudly.

"No need to think about it." Kerry spread his hands and shrugged.

"Hey, your topic has gone too far again. We should solve the problem of Harry's nervousness first." Hermione was speechless. When chatting with these people, the topic always moved to strange places unknowingly.

Kerry seemed to have thought of something and stood up suddenly, "No, we should solve the lunch problem first. If we have time now, go to Wenbi to pack some big meatballs."

After saying that, he directly hooked up Harry's neck and pulled him toward Wenbi's tent. The others quickly followed after seeing this.

Hermione looked at these people and rolled her eyes helplessly, "Really, every time I act there is no warning, I always do whatever I think of."

The entrance and exit of Wenbi's tent is open to prevent students from lifting the curtain. However, because there was a game today, no one came here, and Hagrid rarely had any leisure time.

Kerry and the others entered the tent and found that Wenbi and Hagrid had obtained two large rocking chairs from somewhere. They were lying on them with their eyes closed and rocking comfortably. There were also large plates of meatballs and milk-foamed rock skin between them. Cake, this little life is really pleasant.

"Your little life is a little too comfortable," Kerry said.

"Here you come, my mate" purred Wenbi.

"Oh, Kerry, why are you here?" Hagrid opened his eyes and smiled.

"Isn't Yaya with you?"

"I'm probably lying next to the stove in the cabin. Aren't you going to compete later? Why did you come to my place?"

Seeing the other party asking, Kerry confided directly to him the unreasonable question about the timing of the Quidditch match.

Hagrid thought about his past, and then said, "There is indeed something wrong with this arrangement. I think the longest time I tried to play Quidditch back then ended right up to tea time."

Ron heard this and asked curiously: "What position did you play as a Quidditch player back then?"

"goalkeeper"

Hermione recalled the size of the goal, "With your size, as long as you are in front of the goal, you will basically not be scored by the opponent."

"It's really smart. I was the record holder of eight consecutive games with no goals scored by the opponent. With my size advantage, I became the best player among the students of my class, if not for later."

"If nothing else"

"I won't talk about this anymore, let me keep this a secret."

Kerry saw a trace of sadness in Hagrid's eyes, and he knew that what the other person wanted to talk about was the incident when he was framed by Voldemort. "Okay, it's getting late. We have to go back and make final adjustments." He deliberately changed the subject.

"I'll go too, I'll cheer you up," Hagrid said quickly.

Wen Bi also stood up and purred, obviously wanting to follow.

It was already 10: when he returned to the court. Kerry hurriedly ate some meatballs in the players' locker room to fill his stomach.

"Aren't you afraid of vomiting when you have to exercise strenuously?" Harry asked worriedly.

"There's still half an hour left. I can't eat much. My digestion is fine," Kerry said casually. "Also, let me remind you, the seeker will definitely be Malfoy. Don't ask why, just ask because he has money. Anyway, if you don't know what to do, then just keep an eye on him."

"Ok, I see."

Soon everyone arrived and everyone changed into bright red uniforms.

Wood cleared his throat and said: "Guys, the long-awaited game is about to begin."

"This year our team is the best ever, because this year we have the best Chasers and Seekers." He looked at Kerry and Harry.

Kerry smiled and accepted his statement, but Harry became more and more nervous. For the first time, he was expected.

"We will definitely win, right?"

"Yes" everyone said in unison.

The players walked out of the locker room and walked towards the cheering stadium. Harry couldn't help but weak in his legs when he saw this scene. Fortunately, Kerry held him up.

Hermione saw them appear and immediately blew the silver whistle that Kerry left for her. The Gryffindor owls who were waiting outside the stadium heard the whistle and flew to the top of the Gryffindor auditorium in unison.

"Look, it's the owls again," an unknown little wizard shouted.

The team members' limelight was instantly robbed by the owl

"Meow"

Snoopy yelled, and then the owls laid out the letters "Gryffindor Must Win."

"it is good"

"Gryffindor must win!" Ron shouted. The little lions around him were infected by his voice and shouted too. Their cheers echoed in the cold sky.

On the other side of the commentary table, Li Jordan was the commentator. Seeing the atmosphere, he wanted to pick up the microphone and shout along, but Professor McGonagall was staring at him with sharp eyes.

Mrs. Hooch is the referee of the game. She stands in the middle of the court. "Everyone, be quiet," she said with a loud curse.

"Look, I want everyone to compete fairly and honestly, and Black, let me say one more thing, friendship first, competition second."

"Then, please get on your broomstick."

Mrs. Hooch blew her silver whistle hard.

Participants soar high into the air. The game officially begins.
