Hogwarts Pet Master

Chapter 12 The House of Requirement

At dinner time, Kerry and the others reluctantly left Hagrid's hut. Originally, Kerry wanted to enter the Forbidden Forest, but Hagrid was worried that he would not be able to protect them, so he refused.

In the cafeteria hall, the little wizards were discussing what they should do on the weekend.

"How are you going to spend your weekend?" Ron said while chewing on the chicken leg. "I'm going to play wizard chess in the dormitory."

Hermione looked at his face that was smeared with sauce and moved her position in disgust.

"I'm going to the library to study." Hermione said.

"Oh what a hard-working kid," Kerry said. "I continue to train the owls. I need them to learn to arrange more words."

Neville: "I want to sleep for a day."

Harry: "Me too."

The next day, Kerry woke up early. He was lying in bed thinking about whether he should secretly go to the end of the fourth floor during the weekend and try to get in touch with the three-headed dog. But not long after he went out, his idea was overturned. Because Filch and his cat had been sitting guarding the door on the fourth floor, and there was a small pile of snacks piled next to him, it was obvious that they would not leave soon, so in the end they had to train the owl as planned.

During lunch, Kerry was chatting with Peeves, Fred, and George in the cafeteria about how to make food that ghosts can eat.

Peeves is equivalent to the boss in the game at Hogwarts. Most students will turn around and leave when they see him. Only the Kerry and Weasley twins can talk to him properly, so their attention rate is quite high. .

Fred and George were brought in by Peeves. He thought that the twins had special minds and might have unique ideas about these strange things.

"How about we turn the animals into ghosts first, and then make them food?" Fred suggested.

"I heard from Nick that the person who can turn into a ghost must be a wizard." George said.

"That means you didn't say anything." Kerry said, "Hasn't anyone wanted to get some food for the ghost after so many years?"

"I have heard of ghosts asking some professors for help before, but in the end they were unsuccessful." Peeves said with a smile.

Kerry: "This is difficult. Even the professor can't figure it out."

Peeves: "Heehee, are you giving up?"

"Looking at what you said, am I the kind of person who shrinks back when encountering even the smallest problem?"

"Is this a small problem?"

"Well, isn't that small? Even if it fails, it won't have any real impact."

"You seem to be right in saying that," Peeves touched his chin and thought, "It seems that I also feel that it doesn't matter whether I eat or not." At this moment, Peeves' tone was a bit weird, and he started swinging his cane.

"bang"

"Hey, it hurts, what are you doing?" Kerry shouted.

"Oops, I'm sorry I accidentally lost my hand on the crutch." Peeves smiled, "Be careful, I have to lose my hand again."

"Okay, I was wrong." Looking at his strange smile, Kerry knew that he was unhappy with what he just said.

"Why are you apologizing? You are not wrong."

"I was really wrong," Kerry said sincerely. "Eating is the most important thing in life. When studying ghost food, we can only succeed and not fail."

"Well, you have a very good ideological consciousness."

"Cuckoo" came from time to time, and it was time for the owl to deliver the letter every day again.

"Look at Neville, his grandma gave him a memory ball." Someone called out.

Kerry looked at Neville, who was holding a small red memory ball in his hand. He thinks this thing is useless. When you forget something, it will turn red to remind you, but the problem is that even if you are reminded, you may not be able to remember what you have forgotten.

"Hey, look at the news." Harry said while holding a newspaper. "A dark wizard broke into the Gringotts 713 vault to steal something, but no items were lost because the vault was empty earlier, and that The vault is the same one I visited earlier.”

No wonder Filch had been guarding the fourth floor. It turned out that something happened at Gringotts during this time, Kerry thought.

"There's something fishy about this," Hermione said.

"Should we investigate?" Ron asked.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" Percy said loudly, "That's something related to dark wizards. It's not something you freshmen can have access to. Don't have such thoughts anymore."

"Patsy is right, this matter is beyond our capabilities." Kerry said the strongest, but he said something else in his heart. It's not up to them to decide whether to contact or not, and they have no control over the development of the plot.

Harry heard this and nodded silently.

In the afternoon, Kerry and others were chatting in the dormitory.

"Have you heard?" Ron said mysteriously, "Hogwarts has secrets that have been hidden for thousands of years."

"Why did I forget that house?" After hearing Ron's words, Kerry suddenly woke up.

"What house?" Harry asked.

“The Room of Requirement”

"What for?" Neville asked.

"Don't ask so many questions. You'll find out when you get there." Kerry said mysteriously, "Filch is keeping an eye on the fourth floor, and we'll be out of trouble."

Several people set off immediately. As soon as I got down to the common room, I happened to meet Hermione who was reading a book.

"What are you doing?"

"Secret," Kerry said with a smile, "if you want to know, follow me."

Hermione rolled her eyes at him, but followed anyway.

Kerry led a few people to the opposite side of the tapestry on the eighth floor where the troll beat Barnabas silly.

"This is it," he said, "just wait here."

After speaking, Kerry concentrated on thinking about the required venue and walked back and forth three times. Suddenly, a very smooth door appeared on the originally smooth wall.

"This is the Room of Requirement." Kerry looked at the door excitedly, then pushed it forward.

Hermione and the others also walked in curiously. Kerry just wanted to use the fitness center venue, so there was a lot of fitness equipment here, but of course there were no electronic equipment.

"What is this place?" Harry asked.

"I've never seen these things before." Ron touched here and there.

"Well, this round cake is very heavy." Neville directly picked up a barbell plate.

"These are all things I thought up, and they are used to exercise." Kerry raised a dumbbell, "This is the function of the Room of Requirement. As long as I concentrate on imagining the scene I need, then it will appear. "

"If I imagined this was a library, would there be books in it?" Hermione asked.

"Hey, I really haven't thought about it. It would be perfect if we could also get Ou's book out." Kerry said.

"The books in the district are very dangerous and should not be read casually."

"Aren't you curious?"

"This" Hermione was also very confused.

Stop talking, come out, I want to give it a try.

After a while, the Room of Requirement took on the appearance of a library, but to Kerry's disappointment, nothing could appear here.

"It seems that there can't be a place protected by magic here." Hermione said.

"should be."

"If a person is in a hurry, will this place become a bathroom?" Ron's discordant voice came.

""

Several people stared at Ron speechlessly, and he smiled awkwardly.

"Your brain circuit is really amazing." Kerry said, "But the first student who discovered this place was because of internal anxiety."

"How do you know?" Hermione asked.

This must be bullshit, Kerry thought to himself, but what came out of his mouth was: "I have a collection of books about this place at home."

Although Hermione was a little skeptical, she didn't say anything in the end.

Hermione, Harry, Ron and Neville took turns trying several times, and several scenarios they imagined appeared. They had a great time playing for a while, and if they hadn't been hungry, Kerry thought they would have continued playing.
