Hogwarts Pet Master

Chapter 10 Changing job as pet trainer

In the next few days, Kerry and the others started studying many courses, including Charms, Herbal Medicine, Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, and Astronomy.

The most boring one is the History of Magic class, which is taught by a ghost Professor Binns. He always talks incessantly, with a single tone and no emotion, which makes Kerry yawn.

Kerry spent his spare time training owls. After a few days of training, the owls were able to express words such as "cool, excellent, beautiful, perfect, and handsome."

Today is Friday, there is only one Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the morning. After the class, Kerry took Snoopy to train the owls.

At noon, Kerry took Snoopy back to the cafeteria for lunch. As soon as he entered, he saw a large group of people gathered around the Gryffindor table, and he walked over curiously.

"Look, it's awesome," Ron's voice came out.

"Can you let him do push-ups with both paws?" the little wizard asked

"Two-claws, you are looking down on my Scabbers." Ron said contemptuously, "Scabbers, do him a one-paw push-up."

As soon as Kerry squeezed into the crowd, he saw Banban doing push-ups with one hand. As the instigator, he smiled knowingly. Ha, this is the consequence of betrayal. Being ordered to play by a group of children.

"Wow"

There was a burst of exclamation, and I didn't know who was the first to applaud. Suddenly, there was a burst of applause in the cafeteria.

When Peter heard the applause, he did push-ups even harder, and even stood on one hand to do it, which caused another burst of applause.

Kerry looked at this scene and thought, it's ironic that he never received applause when he was a human, but now he gets it as a mouse.

"Kerry"

At this time, someone didn't know who shouted, and then everyone in the audience rushed to him.

Not knowing what happened, Kerry quickly gave himself a levitating spell.

"What are you doing?" he shouted loudly, "don't you know that with so many people crowded together it is easy for a stampede to occur?"

"Kerry, can you help train my owl?"

A Ravenclaw girl shouted loudly, and a group of people followed her.

"Help me train the green snake"

"And my ferret"

Hey, this is the rhythm that requires me to change my wizard profession to a trainer.

"Everyone, be quiet," Kerry said loudly, "It's okay to train pets, but I don't have time recently, and there is no free lunch in the world, do you understand?"

"How much do you want?" a Slytherin student said angrily.

"This classmate, you are a bit arrogant. Do you think the Black family is short of money?"

"Then what do you think"

Kerry is also thinking about what to do. The quantity is a bit large, and everyone’s requirements are different.

"Well, after all, I am a Gryffindor, so I will help those in my own academy to train first. Each person is limited to one pet, and each training costs 1 Silver Sickle. But I am not free during this time. At the latest Training will start next month," Kerry said.

"Great" cheered the Gryffindor students.

"However, the training movements must be designated by me. I will only teach three movements for each person's pet, and no refunds will be given." Kerry said, "Maybe in the future, individual pet-specific movements will be opened, but it depends on the situation. Say it again."

"Okay, this is acceptable." Everyone said one after another.

"People from other houses must find Gryffindor students as introducers, and each Gryffindor student can only introduce 3 students. Of course, the introducer cannot accept money or threaten, otherwise he will never Blacklisted.”

"No, we Slytherins have always been hostile to Gryffindor, how could they introduce it to us?" the Slytherin students were dissatisfied.

"That's your own problem. Don't forget that I'm also a Gryffindor." Kerry said disdainfully, "You can now register people and pets, and those from other colleges must also register introducers."

"By the way, you have to pay 1 copper nat for registration. That's no problem, right?"

Everyone: "Whatever you say is what you say. Who calls you the boss?"

"Hey Ron, Harry, and Neville, in exchange for my help training your pets, please register them. Hermione, please sort the registered ones into categories."

"Yes, yes, but you don't seem to be helping my Leif train," Neville said.

"Oh Neville, you have changed. You have actually learned how to negotiate terms. I think you were so innocent, kind, helpful, and willing to help others at all costs, but now," Kerry said sadly.

"Okay, no need to say anything, I will help you."

"That's right." Kerry's face changed instantly, "Also, your Leif is very smart. He is the smartest animal I have ever seen, excluding those magical creatures of course."

"Actually, I think it's very smart, but it doesn't like to listen to me."

"You have to understand that although it is a pet in front of others, it is actually your friend. It may not necessarily listen to you, but it will always accompany you when you are sad."

"Okay, I understand." Neville smiled knowingly, "Thank you and I will help you register."

Kerry looked at Neville and said, "What an innocent boy."

"Huh treacherous Kerry" Hermione happened to hear him.

"Oh Hermione, if you help, I'll teach you how to learn in exchange."

"I want to learn the transformation spell."

"no problem."

"make a deal."

There were so many people registering that Hermione and the others were so busy that they only ate a few panels.

Kerry sat aside and answered everyone's questions about pet training.

"Can it be trained like Ron's rats?" one student asked.

"I'm afraid not. Banban is not only smart but also has a gentle personality. This kind of pet is rare." Kerry looked at Banban with a smile.

Scabbers was so scared that he got into Ron's pocket. He remembered the way Kerry had been training him with a big stick and smiling in the past few days. That was the smile of a devil.

"Can magical creatures be trained?"

"Yes, but you have to pay extra, and the magical creature must be something you can legally raise."

"Can you teach them to speak?"

""

The busy and fulfilling time passed very quickly. There were many students having classes in the afternoon, which reduced Harry's workload. Finally, at two o'clock, everyone present was registered.

"Oh, I'm so exhausted, there are more than 300 people," Ron said while lying on the chair.

Harry: "The most words I have written in my life was today."

Neville: "I feel like I can't move my hands anymore."

Hermione looked at the pile of registration information that had been sorted out and asked worriedly: "This is only part of it. When everyone has registered, will the work be over?"

Kerry: "Calm down. When the time comes we will train according to species. It's just three movements. Training owls these days is much more difficult than this."

"Now you should think about how to use the copper nuts you earned."

"We" Harry questioned.

"Yes, Coppernut is paying you to help register."

"Really" Ron jumped up and immediately became energetic when he heard the money, "I want to buy a new wand."

"You're overthinking, there's not even enough gold galleons here," Hermione said mercilessly.

"Okay, think about it slowly. Don't forget that Hagrid made an appointment with us. Let's pack up and go over."

Neville: "Can we go together too?"

Kerry: "We are a team, and we must play together, right?"

The rest of the people said in unison: "Yes"

Everyone looked at each other and smiled knowingly.
