Hogwarts Melting Ice Journey

Chapter 80 Whomping Willow

"Then I'll go with you." Rowan quickly packed up his things and got up to leave with Stephen.

Stephen thought for a while, and Dumbledore didn't say he couldn't bring a few more people, and nothing would happen if Rowan followed, so he agreed.

The two walked out of the castle and walked for a while and saw the Whomping Willow in the distance. Stephen squinted his eyes and saw a figure not far from the Whomping Willow.

"It seems that he is still there, and he was not injured by the Whomping Willow." Stephen walked forward, preparing to approach Martin's position.

"Wait, Stephen." Rowan stopped him and pointed under the Whomping Willow, "Look at that."

Stephen stood there and watched from a distance. A man came out of the secret passage under the Whomping Willow, but he couldn't tell who it was because of the distance.

"Are we still going there?" Rowan asked.

"Maybe we should wait a little longer." Stephen hesitated, "Forget it, I think there shouldn't be any danger in the school, and it's not even the full moon recently."

"That's true." Rowan nodded, "Then let's go there."

Stephen turned to Rowan and nodded, then walked towards the Whomping Willow.

"Hello, Chiara." Martin was a little absent-minded, but he still noticed who came out of the secret passage.

"You are" Chiara had never seen Martin and didn't know he was normal.

"Martin Perry, Stephen's friend." Martin introduced himself, then stood up and patted his pants, "I don't think you would have come here unless there were no special circumstances."

"The special circumstances you are talking about" Chiara looked at Martin warily.

"It's just a special situation." Martin showed a smile that made people relax their vigilance. "You know it very well."

"I don't know what you are talking about." Chiara was about to leave directly. She did not want to have further conversations with this mysterious student.

"Then just pretend you don't know." Martin smiled, "This matter is not very important."

"I guess we have nothing to talk about now." Chiara glanced at Martin's face and prepared to leave directly.

Stephen and Rowan saw clearly who the people around the Whomping Willow were. Rowan pointed at the girl in the distance, "That looks like Chiara."

"Yes, Rowan." Stephen saw Chiara's iconic silver hair. Among the first-year female students, she was the only one with such hair, "So we can go directly."

"But why did she appear here today?" Rowan was a little confused, but he still kept up with Stephen.

The two and Chiara met halfway, greeted each other, and then the two continued walking in the direction of Martin.

"Stephen, I think you have met Professor Dumbledore." Martin looked at the bottle exposed in Stephen's bag, "He asked you to pass this to me, right?"

"Yes." Stephen nodded, took out the bottle and handed it to Martin, "Professor Dumbledore said that after you see this thing, you will naturally know what to do."

Martin took the bottle, and his eyes stayed on the silver-white substance floating in the bottle. After a long time, he realized, "Well, I think I probably understand."

Martin opened the cap of the bottle, then carefully took out the mass with his wand, and then put it into his mouth.

"Is this really how it is used?" Stephen observed Martin's movements curiously, which was very different from the way of accessing and removing memories.

The horse closed his eyes tightly and sat on the ground silently. Stephen and Rowan took out their wands and watched Martin's actions, preparing to knock him out if something went wrong.

"Rust, rustle," a gust of wind blew down the few remaining leaves of the Whomping Willow. Stephen looked up, and his pupils instantly dilated.

"Rowan, protect Martin." He hurriedly rushed to the roots of the Whomping Willow, and then looked for the scars on the book.

"What, Stephen?" Rowan didn't understand yet, but when a branch of the Whomping Willow hit him, he understood instantly, "Is there any mistake?"

Rowan rolled over and dodged the branch that was thrust at him. Then he rushed towards Martin and grabbed him. But to Rowan's surprise, Martin was much heavier than he thought and was unable to pull.

"Here we go again." Rowan's eyes reflected the approaching branches of the whomping willow. He knocked Martin down, and the two of them avoided the sweeping branches.

"Stephen, you have to hurry up," Rowan yelled at Stephen as he dragged Martin in a hurry to avoid the branches that were coming towards them.

"Give me a few more seconds." Stephen pressed hard on the scar on the trunk of the Whomping Willow tree, causing it to stop its crazy attack.

Rowan sat down on the ground and gasped. If he had been hit just now, he would probably have to stay in the campus hospital for a week or two.

"Are you okay?" Stephen came over and sat next to Rowan.

"Fortunately, I'm just a little embarrassed." Rowan adjusted his robe, then took a few deep breaths, "Martin should be fine too, do we still have to wait here for him to open his eyes?"

Stephen looked back at the calm Whomping Willow, "No, it's better to take him away."

The two tried their best to drag Martin away from the Whomping Willow, and they sat down panting.

"I didn't expect Martin to be so heavy despite looking so thin." Stephen wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"I didn't think about it when I grabbed him before." Rowan took out his notebook. Since Martin couldn't recover for a while, he might as well do something useful.

Stephen looked at Rowan and felt that this was in line with Rowan's style. He lay on the grass and squinted at the blazing sun.

"I think if Martin can't come back to his senses for a while, we have to find a way to find some shade." Stephen blocked most of his eyes with his hands, and then looked away.

"I don't think it's so troublesome." It was Martin's voice.

"I thought you would be here for a while." Rowan had to put the notebook back into his pocket and turned his body towards Martin.

"Stephen, how do you think I should face Malfoy?" Martin jumped into the topic directly and looked into Stephen's eyes.

Stephen felt that there seemed to be a trace of murderous intent in his eyes, but it was quickly covered by other emotions, and he thought for a moment.

"According to the laws established by the Ministry of Magic, Malfoy can easily escape punishment." Stephen said after thinking about it. He decided to tell the pros and cons of this matter and let Martin make his own decision. "But if your testimony can be If the Wizengamot approves, he will at least draw a lot of blood to settle this matter."

"So he won't die, right." Martin stared into Stephen's eyes, with a hint of anger in his tone.

"It's hard."
