Hogwarts Melting Ice Journey

Chapter 74 Opening Ceremony

"Stephen, wake up." Rowan shook Stephen and woke him up.

"What time is it now?" Stephen reluctantly opened his eyes and glanced out the window. The sky was only slightly bright.

"I think it should be six o'clock." Rowan estimated based on his biological clock, "You can take out your pocket watch and take a look."

"Oh, yes." Stephen vaguely took out his pocket watch from his robe. It was now six-ten.

He rubbed his eyes, trying to wake himself up, and started to get dressed. Fifteen minutes later, he and Rowan finished washing and walked out of the common room.

"Where's Martin?" Stephen had not seen Martin until now, and he asked Rowan curiously.

"He went out early in the morning and woke me up by the way."

"Okay." Stephen nodded, indicating that he understood. They first went to the restaurant to get two pieces of bread for breakfast, and then went to the competition venue to attend the opening ceremony, preparing to sneak back to the school to stop the Death Eaters' actions as soon as they became familiar.

There were already many students waiting on the competition field, but many of them were yawning. They all got up very early in order to catch up with this rare opening ceremony.

Stephen saw Chester's figure, and he hurried over to ask for leave. Seeing this, Rowan also hurriedly followed.

"Senior Chester, can we take a leave?" Stephen tugged on Chester's clothes, "There are some urgent things that need to be done."

Chester glanced at Stephen suspiciously, but after a few seconds he nodded and said: "Participation in this opening ceremony is not mandatory. If you have something to do, you can leave first. But I have to remind you that it is best for you two not to Did something break the school rules today?"

"Of course not, Senior Chester." Stephen and Rowan hurriedly left the playing field after receiving the agreement. There was still nearly half an hour before the Death Eaters planned to enter. They should still be able to get back before the Death Eaters. Go to school to make some preparations.

"You came just in time." Martin saw the two panting people. He sprang out from a corner, almost startling them. "According to their plan, they should enter the school from this place."

Stephen looked towards where Martin was pointing. The sign on the door said utility room.

"Are you sure?" Stephen took out his wand and pointed it at the door.

"This should be it, but I don't know how they will get in." Martin took out his wand and looked warily at the door of the utility room in the distance.

"You guys look here, I'm going to get them a little surprise." Stephen walked quickly to the door of the utility room, then took out the chalk and drew a few round mines on the door. Although the chalk drawing was not very powerful, It still hurts a little.

With that done, Stephen walked back to the corner and drew three walkie-talkies, handing them to Rowan and Martin.

"This allows us to communicate over long distances. You have to press this button when talking..." Stephen briefly introduced the walkie-talkie.

Although electronic products are not allowed in Hogwarts, it is obvious that things drawn with chalk do not fall into the category of electronic products.

"Who are those students who responded?" Stephen looked at Martin.

"Jane Miles and Doug Wilkes." Martin thought for a moment, "and maybe others."

"Is that so?" Stephen thought for a moment, "How will the Death Eaters get in?"

"Who knows." Martin seemed to hear something, and he said extremely quietly, "Quiet."

There was a sound of footsteps in the corridor, and Martin took out a chalk-drawn cloak to cover the three of them. It was a very simple invisibility cloak. I have to say that what Martin drew helped a lot.

"We have to avoid their sight as much as possible." Martin said quietly, "I can't guarantee the effectiveness of this invisibility cloak."

Stephen and Rowan nodded, and the three of them held their breaths as they watched Jane Miles and Doug Wilkes pass in front of them. The three of them took advantage of their attention on the door of the utility room, slowly moved to the direction they came from, and then hid behind an armored soldier.

"Boom" Stephen's mine exploded. It seemed that the two of them really thought it was graffiti made by someone casually, and stepped on it without checking it.

"Damn" was the voice of Miles. Stephen slowly poked his head out and took a look. Little Wilkes was lying on the ground, and there seemed to be some blood on him.

"I didn't expect this thing to be so powerful..."

Stephen retracted his head, then looked at the two people around him and asked softly: "Are you ready?"

The two nodded, and Stephen drew a pistol on the ground, which would attract their attention later.

"Bang!" There was a muffled sound in the utility room. Jane ignored little Wilkes's injury and hurriedly stood up and shouted at the door lock: "Open the Alaho hole!"

The door of the utility room opened, and unlike what was expected in the plan, three people came.

"Trouble." The three of them looked at the people coming and thought in unison.

"Are you sure there is no professor in the teaching area?" A hoarse voice came from the utility room.

"We are sure that the professors are all at the opening ceremony." Jane replied in an adoring voice.

"Very good." The hoarse voice continued, "What's wrong with little Wilkes?"

"He was possessed by an unknown magic." Jane pointed to the unexploded mine next to her, "That's it."

"Humph, it's just a child's graffiti."

"Boom" was another explosion. Stephen nodded to Rowan and Martin, and then made the sign of two with his finger. The two of them looked at him and nodded to indicate that they understood what to do.

Stephen stuck his head out and looked in the direction of the utility room, which was filled with chalk dust. He quickly walked to the entrance of the corridor, then took out his pistol and fired several shots at the door, and then started running wildly.

"Damn, catch him!" A black-robed wizard dispersed the chalk dust, and then saw Stephen in the distance, he shouted.

"Miles, take care of little Wilkes here." The other two Death Eaters ordered and followed the wizard who just yelled.

When the three Death Eaters chased them, they did not notice Rowan and Martin who were hiding behind armored soldiers and wearing chalk invisibility cloaks.

"It's our turn." Rowan and Martin relied on the cover of the invisibility cloak and approached Jane's direction.

"Collapsed." The two of them knocked Jane out with their wands at the same time. Rowan looked at the still unconscious little Wilkes, feeling a little uneasy, and gave him a sleeping spell.

"Martin, go and inform the professors." Rowan added the sleeping spell to Jane to ensure that they would not wake up for a while.

"Don't worry." Martin nodded and disappeared in front of Rowan.

"Let me see... this way." Stephen took out the Marauder's Map and took a shortcut. Then before the Death Eaters could catch up, he quickly drew a trip mine on the corridor, and then Continue to run along the path shown on the Marauder's Map.
