Elven Reaper
Chapter 11 Messiah’s Awakening
"He also tried every means to prevent the tribe from exploring this aspect of history, and even closed the Elf Library for this purpose." Messiah added.
Akto raised his eyebrows.
This Kenneth abandoned the history of his race and insisted on executing his own countrymen.
There's something very wrong with this old elf.
Messiah seemed to be lost in memories: "Do you know that once upon a time, I was also a carefree elf, eating sweet and crisp elf fruits, drinking sweet dew, and taking a bath in the elf lake every day. "
"Then in the evening, when the sun sets, I and other friends would nestle at Elder Kenneth's feet and listen to him telling stories from the Nature Bible. I listened with gusto every time."
Akto was slightly surprised, thinking that Messiah looked older than Kenneth, but he had often listened to Kenneth telling stories when he was young, and it turns out that a person cannot be judged by his appearance.
And although Elder Kenneth is old, he always looks so elegant, easy-going, handsome, and clean. In comparison, Messiah is simply his opposite extreme.
This may be a typical case of the soul not matching the appearance.
Akto suddenly recalled that although he had no fairy fruits to eat and no fairy lake to bathe in before, drinking dew and listening to Kenneth's stories were exactly the same as Messiah's childhood.
Messiah continued: "If I hadn't left the elf barrier by chance that day and met Pine. I might have lived a carefree life like other elves."
When she said the words "carefree", her tone was obviously aggravated.
"Yes, Pine is the old man in your dream. He is my husband." Messiah added.
Acto:
"Pine helped me disguise myself as a human and took me around the entire continent of Elphes. We went to the human capital, to the hills where the dwarves were, and to the wastelands and snow forests where the orcs were. "
"We have walked through the harbor together, visited the islands on the other side of the ocean, seen prosperous human cities, and also enjoyed the leisurely farm life."
Akto nodded. He was also familiar with this script. It was a script in which an infatuated human bad boy "kidnapped" an innocent and lovely girl.
"Pine is not only highly skilled in martial arts, he is also very knowledgeable. During the days we were together, he taught me a lot of common sense, including the Third Holy War of Light."
"Later, I learned about the past glory of the elves and the decline of the elves. What a ridiculous thing. The history of my own race can only be understood in a few unofficial records of a hostile country."
Messiah was slightly excited: "Seven years, Pine and I have been together for seven years. I transformed from an extremely innocent girl from the Elf race to a remnant of the Elf race with a blood feud."
"When I proposed that I want to return to the Elf Forest, I already had Pine's child. Pine also supported my idea. Before leaving, he gave me three pieces of advice."
Akto looked at her and encouraged her to continue.
Messiah seems to have been suppressing it for too long. Today he seems to think that he is a reliable elf, so he wants to vent his emotions.
Messiah continued: "If you want to revive the elves and avenge the lost compatriots, you must first be strong enough."
"I listened to him, practiced magic day after day, and studied magic knowledge."
"His second piece of advice is that I must seize the leadership of the elves in any way. Only as the leader of the elves can I act legitimately."
"As for the third piece of advice, he didn't say it directly. Instead, he wrote it on paper, put it in an envelope, and told me not to open the envelope unless absolutely necessary."
Akto can also guess what happened next.
When Messiah returns to the elves, he will first ask Kenneth why the elf library is closed and why the elves are not allowed to understand the history of their race.
Why are the elves trained into simple, docile "little sheep"? Is it because they are afraid that after the elves understand the history, they will become angry and overthrow the Council of Elders led by Kenneth?
Then, Kenneth will use his high moral standing to confuse and incite other elves.
Kenneth will control public opinion, smear Messiah as a shameless monster, and completely isolate her.
Moreover, the child in Messiah's belly was most likely aborted by Kenneth at that time.
Sure enough, Messiah recounted his experience of returning to the Forest of Elves, which was roughly the same as Akto guessed.
But one thing that was completely different was that she ruthlessly aborted Messiah's child.
The moment she returned to the Elf Forest, she decided to devote everything she had to the cause of recovering the elves.
This made Akto feel a little bit more distressed besides being in awe of her.
A woman has shouldered an extremely heavy burden for her own race, and even killed her own flesh and blood for it.
What kind of courage is this? In contrast, Kenneth, the male elf who is the leader of the elves, has a superior character in comparison.
Messiah continued: "Then I offered to join the Council of Elders, but they unanimously rejected it."
"In the council, the seven elders headed by Kenneth said that I was wishful thinking and that I had eloped with a foreign race and that my soul had been polluted to the extreme. They advised me to purify myself and retain the last dignity of the elves."
Akto nodded, this was Kenneth's special method, and he had only experienced it once today.
"I was at my wits end," Messiah continued, "so I opened the envelope that Pine had given me before he left."
Hearing this, Akto concentrated his attention, fearing that he would miss any details.
Messiah's eyes suddenly flashed with a cold light: "What is written on the envelope is: go on a killing spree. This may not be a good way, but it is the most effective way."
Akto's heart shivered, this Payne was such a courageous person.
Akto couldn't help but draw an outline of a young human man in his mind. He was handsome, extraordinary in martial arts, knowledgeable, and decisive in killing.
He is also deeply devoted to his wife, has a deep understanding of righteousness, knows how to love his wife as much as he loves his wife, and regards his wife's recovery as his own business.
If you have a slightly stronger taste, you will fall in love with Messiah.
Is there really such a man?
Messiah showed a happy smile: "I broke the door of the tree hole, forced my way into the tree hole meeting, killed two elf elders on the spot, and seriously injured Kenneth."
"So Kenneth agreed to my request to join the Council of Elders."
In my memory, the so-called tree hole meeting, as the name suggests, is a meeting held in the tree hole of the World Tree. It is usually chaired by the Elf King and Elf Queen, and seven high-ranking elders participate. It is the highest-level meeting among the elves.
