Desert Death from the Marvel Universe

Chapter 10 Encounter with Pajama Baby

No. 17 Madison Street, where Reese lives.

The community is very dilapidated, and the windows on the upper floors are tightly arranged like holes in briquettes. There is a small garden of about 30 square meters in the center of the community. According to Old Man Rees, he loosened the dog leash in this garden, and then Corgi ran out of the gate and ran towards the east.

Li Kuang did not rush out to look for clues, but looked for traces in the community.

The community is not big, and it only takes about five minutes to go around.

Half an hour later, Li Kuang discovered something unusual on the grass in the small garden. An area the size of a washbasin exuded a strange aura, revealing evil.

From the outside, this grassland looks no different from other places. If Li Kuang's sense of smell and perception were not relatively sensitive, he would not be able to detect it easily.

When I searched nearby, I couldn't feel the aura anymore. It definitely didn't disappear out of thin air. It must have been covered by something.

This weird aura should be the reason why Corgi escaped, but the clue ends here.

Corgi ran towards the east.

Walking out of the community, the street at the door is not wide, and there are not many shops on both sides. The only two or three shops are also clothing stores, supermarkets, KFC, and Corgis are not what they look like inside.

On the east side of the street is a long street with brick walls of more than one height on both sides. If Corgi really goes in this direction, it will be very simple to find it.

Li Kuang walked very slowly, trying hard to feel the breath.

Pedestrians on the street noticed Li Kuang, who was behaving strangely. They saw Li Kuang tilting his head, walking five or six steps and then paused for a moment.

Behind him, a child was riding a children's bicycle. The child was not riding fast. He saw someone blocking the road in front of him. He was panicked and didn't know the direction of rotation. He also forgot about the bell next to the swing handle.

The child screamed in fear, but the people in front seemed to be immersed in their own world and did not hear it.

puff.

The bicycle wheel rubbed against the calf of the man in front.

Li Kuang finally came to his senses and turned around to see the anxious little boy sitting on the bicycle.

"I'm sorry." The little boy was very polite and knew that he had done something wrong.

"It doesn't matter." Li Kuang always has a lot of tolerance for polite children.

In the distance, a lady in a black suit waved her hand and shouted: "Peter, Peter!" Then she hurried over.

The lady smiled back at Li Kuang, then turned her head and twisted Peter's ears and said, "Are you in trouble?"

The lady brushed her hair out of her eyes and said, "Sir, I'm causing trouble for you."

"It doesn't matter, he is very cute and polite." Li Kuang said with a smile.

"Really?" He glanced at Peter and said with a smile, "Hello, I'm Marisa Tomei." He stretched out his white and slender right hand.

Li Kuang stretched out his right hand, shook it lightly, then let go and said, "I am Li Kuang."

"..."

"..."

Not knowing what to say, the two looked at each other and laughed.

"I work at the Bad Boy Bar. Come and have a drink if you have time."

"Definitely." Li Kuang greeted.

Marisa Tomei walked back with Peter.

Li Kuang couldn't help but laugh when he saw Peter being pulled by the ear, tilting his body and trying hard to stand on tiptoes.

Little did I know that this child would be the future pajama baby.

Looking up, you can already see the end of this street. In front of you is a garbage disposal station surrounded by fences.

It can be said that Li Kuang was very attentive and did not notice any strange smell on this street. On the right side of the street is a passage formed by two buildings that is only large enough for one person to pass sideways. Li Kuang walked into the entrance and saw a dog leash. He took out his mobile phone to check the photos and confirmed that this was the one on Corgi.

I could clearly sense that there was an obvious evil aura in the area around the dog leash. This evil aura climbed up the wall and entered the window on the third floor.

What the hell is this?

The building that the strange smell climbed up was four stories high. The surface of the building was painted with white paint. The entrance was on the other side and needed to be passed through this narrow passage.

The inside is filled with mud, weeds grow at the corners of the walls, and there are spider webs between the two walls. There are spiders lying patiently on the webs, waiting for their prey to fall into the trap.

This passage is only about ten meters, but Li Kuang would rather take the long way around. The passage is not dangerous, just disgusting.

Break off a dead branch from the tree on the street and take out the dog leash. Corgi may have encountered something unexpected. The dog leash is the result of his search, but the matter is not over yet. Something moves on the wall. The evil aura left behind aroused Li Kuang's curiosity.

He rolled up the dog leash and stuffed it into his pocket, looked up and noted the location of the third-floor window and the building, and walked back along the street. The entrance to that building was on the opposite side, and Li Kuang planned to walk around it on the street.

Soon Li Kuang stood in front of the building. There were balconies in front of the building, and many people were sunbathing on them. On the west side of the third floor is where Li Kuang wrote down. The windows on the balcony are broken and the iron railings have been twisted and broken.

Run quickly up the stairs to the third floor. There are bullet marks on the western corridor of the third floor. It can be seen that the marks are relatively new and appeared recently.

The door of the house where the evil spirit entered was broken, the furniture and the floor inside were covered with bullet marks, and bullet casings were scattered on the ground.

There was no sound inside, and there was no one in the room.

Walking inside, the table was piled with food packaging bags, and empty water bottles were dumped on the ground casually. The light was still on in the refrigerator, and there was no food, soup, and condiments spilled in it.

Li Kuang could see through his own perception that the top, walls, and ground of the room were also filled with residual evil aura. Based on the traces of firearms, bullets and residue, it can be inferred that they were fighting. In the end, the unknown creature was probably defeated and escaped by breaking through the balcony window and iron railings.

Tapping.

Someone came upstairs and came this way.

Li Kuang turned around and looked around to see that there was no place to hide. He quickly ran to the bedroom and saw a wardrobe inside. He quickly opened it and hid in it.

Tapping.

The footsteps got closer and closer, and then there was the sound of a door closing.

Then the man sat on the sofa in the living room and stopped moving.

Li Kuang could clearly hear two people talking in the living room, one with a deep voice and the other with a hoarse voice, but Li Kuang heard the footsteps of only one person walking into the room.

"Eddie, I'm hungry," said the hoarse voice.

"There is no food." A rich male voice said.

"Eddie, your kidneys are so tempting." The hoarse voice was filled with joy.

"Okay, okay, I'm going to buy food now." With a helpless voice, the man planned to go to the street supermarket to buy some food.

"No, Eddie, I want to eat people."

"No, no, you don't!"

"Eddie, there's another guy in the house and he asked me to eat him!"
