Chapter 103 You don’t understand anything, Severus
"Gellert, I don't know where to start." Dumbledore finally walked in and sat on the comfortable chair Grindelwald conjured using the Transfiguration Spell. "Maybe you are right, I He’s a hypocritical, arrogant old thing.”
"I never think what I say will be wrong." Grindelwald poured a cup of milk for Dumbledore, added half a cup of honey, and pushed it in front of Dumbledore. "I remember what you gave me last time. A letter written. You are here because of that boy. Is he causing you distress?"
"I'm not distressed, Gellert." Dumbledore took a sip of the thick honey cow with satisfaction. Under Grindelwald's aggressive eyes, he had to put down the glass, "Okay, I admit it. You're right. Harry troubles me."
"You have stuck to your plan, Al." Grindelwald laughed cruelly, "For the greatest good I don't think even that boy could have done what I failed to do."
"This year, I have been wandering." Dumbledore sighed. "I once doubted whether I had really done something wrong. Harry accused me unceremoniously. Now, Voldemort appears by his side."
Dumbledore closed his eyes.
The smile on Grindelwald's face never stopped: "Only in front of me will you show such a look."
"Voldemort's original wand no longer works. Harry bought him a new wand, a wand with a unicorn hair core." Dumbledore opened his eyes and looked at Grindelwald seriously. "I once told Tom that he didn't understand what it was, so he wouldn't succeed no matter what. But now"
"Do you think that boy changed himself because of your golden boy?" Grindelwald was interested. "Aren't you happy? Your plan has been completed more than half."
"I don't dare to bet." Dumbledore said bitterly, "Even if there is only one percent chance, I don't dare to bet."
"Then what do you want to do?" Grindelwald asked. "You know, my most powerful power already belongs to you, Al."
"I'm old. Gellert." Dumbledore raised his eyes. "Over the past year, I have found that more and more things have made me feel powerless."
"My advice has not changed, Al." Grindelwald's eyes were stern. "I will not give you any advice. I will only advise you to give up your plan and stay with me. I have thought a lot about my son here. Even though we have some left, it's a young man's world now, Al. You have to admit it."
"I understand, you don't need to remind me." Dumbledore took a big mouthful of Honey Cow, "But I'm still worried. Help me, Gellert. The only one who can help me now is you."
Grindelwald laughed "Hey": "You are still so despicable. How can you be sure that I will help you? 50 years ago, you took away my support without hesitation, but now you want me to help you."
"I have never regretted what I did." Dumbledore said firmly, "As long as you lose it, the world will be better."
"Then why can't you believe that your boy can be like you?" Grindelwald said calmly.
Dumbledore slumped his shoulders, suddenly seeming to have aged dozens of years: "Harry is only 14 years old, which is too long. Waiting for him to fully grow up will be too long."
"You and I have the exact opposite opinion." A smile flashed in Grindelwald's eyes, "If your boy didn't have two brushes, would Voldemort have stayed by his side and even changed his wand, unless he was cheating? Your boy, but the price is too high.”
"You have mentioned your boy to me more than once. He is a smart and caring boy, isn't he?" Grindelwald rested his elbows on his knees and leaned forward, "You don't think he would do anything to Voldemort?" Are there any restraint measures in place?”
Grindelwald sat up straight again: "Of course, if you are worried, I can help you. But you understand what I want."
Dumbledore took off his glasses and wiped his face with his hands.
Grindelwald was not in a hurry and just looked at Dumbledore quietly.
"I promise you." It seemed like a long time, and it seemed like only a moment, Dumbledore answered.
Grindelwald laughed heartily, his no longer young face showing an expression of innocence and joy like a child.
Dumbledore looked away.
While Tom was tinkering with potions in the potions room, Snape motioned to Lin Zhen to talk to him alone.
"I think your little brain hasn't completely shut down yet," Snape said with a sarcastic smile, "Then you should know what I want to talk to you about."
Lin Zhen's eyes drifted towards the closed door of the potion room: "I'm very happy that you still care about me so much, Severus. But I thought that over the past few years, you understand me and I can only do it when you have enough confidence. Action will be taken.”
"If you were looking at me and saying that, I'd think it was true," Snape said venomously.
Lin Zhen looked away and stared straight at Snape with her bright emerald eyes: "I'm afraid that if I look at you and tell you, you will see my guilt."
"Guilty." Snape sneered, and moved closer to lift Lin Zhen's chin with his wand, so that he had to raise his head and look directly into his eyes. "When you say this, see clearly who you are facing. I This is not your dog godfather who has ornaments from the neck up."
Lin Zhen laughed, and her green eyes became as deep as the lake water.
He stretched out his hand and hooked Snape's neck, pressing Snape's head towards him, nose to nose, and his voice was as low as a whisper: "You don't understand anything, Severus."
He let go of his hand, brushed his shoulder past Snape, and walked toward the potions room.
"Of course I don't understand the thoughts of a troll." Snape's cold voice sounded behind Lin Zhen.
Lin Zhen opened the door to the potion room and turned around with a bright smile: "If you are really worried, I will be happy to let you visit my bedroom at night, Severus."
His shadow disappeared into the dark potions room and the door slammed shut.
Snape's face turned livid.
After Snape joined the team of brewing the potion, the strong negative atmosphere between him and Lin Zhen was obvious even to Tom.
Tom unabashedly looked at Snape on the left and then at Lin Zhen on the right: "You are having a quarrel."
The movements in Snape's hands stopped for a moment, then continued as if nothing had happened.
"No." Lin Zhen replied with a smile, "Stop your curiosity like a little girl and concentrate on the matter at hand."
Tom kept moving his hands: "I thought your heart was not very good."
Snape didn't seem to care at all, but his ears were stretched to hear Lin Zhen's answer.
"I never think what I say will be wrong." Grindelwald poured a cup of milk for Dumbledore, added half a cup of honey, and pushed it in front of Dumbledore. "I remember what you gave me last time. A letter written. You are here because of that boy. Is he causing you distress?"
