Chapter 8 Fishing

Spectrum is a spectrum and frequency is a wave frequency. Simply put, if they were a line, human vision and hearing would only occupy a small segment of it. Even the eagle eye super dynamic perspective can only capture this small section of the image.

However, the world that now appears in Barton's eyes has added too many colors that were invisible in the past. A new voice, deep, sharp. New smells, delicious and fishy.

These feelings seem to fill in everything that was missing in the original world, as if everything is within reach. When he concentrated, Barton could see the waves transmitted by his thoughts, and even heard a whale singing in the depths of the sea. The wonderful feeling made him shed tears uncontrollably.

Until he landed on the coast, Barton still could not completely shake off this intoxication. He built a fire on the shore and looked at the stars in the sky. Suddenly he missed the old world and wondered if everything he was familiar with was okay now.

The place where Patton landed was the Crimean Peninsula, which was still a German-occupied area, but the German troops were not large, and they were basically at ports and road hubs.

Most of the nearby areas are plains, making it difficult to sneak around. Patton went eastward and entered the Crimean Mountains.

What surprised Patton was that such a place with few troops was visited more often by reconnaissance planes. It was not difficult to hide first based on Patton's senses, but he had an intuition that these reconnaissance planes were probably coming towards him.

Counting over a whole day, there were actually over a hundred reconnaissance sorties. This reconnaissance intensity was enough to illustrate the problem.

How could Patton let them find it, not to mention that he himself had super powerful senses, enough to detect the reconnaissance plane before it entered the field of vision. Even if not, the birds and animals in the mountains can provide sufficient warning. Barton simply found a cave to sleep in and let them work in vain.

But late at night, sporadic gunfire rang out at the foot of the mountain. Barton was awakened by the sound of gunfire and was a little confused. He looked down from the top of the mountain and soon saw two people fleeing into the mountain, being chased by the Germans.

This German team was very elite and had an absolute advantage in terms of numbers and firepower. One of the two men being chased tried to block the attack, but he was shot dead within a few minutes. The other man distanced himself and finally broke away from the Germans.

The next day, the German search team increased to five. They tracked the man over the mountain, and Patton followed him all the way to see what medicine they were selling in the gourd. Of course, this may be a trap, but in this environment, Barton can easily deal with them even without the Yakka Arrow.

But the following facts gradually overturned Barton's judgment.

After three days of observation, Patton determined that the man being pursued was a Soviet. He has good skills, a shrewd mind, extremely accurate marksmanship, and superior physical strength. He should be an elite soldier or spy who has received special training. He even fought several ambushes on his own, causing four casualties to the Germans.

However, the Soviet man probably ran out of bullets, and the terrain was not extremely favorable for an ambush, so he no longer fought back. He gradually moved north, but never got out of the mountains, because German reconnaissance planes came more frequently.

Barton felt that if he really wanted to run far, he would still have many opportunities, but he did not do so. Instead, he seemed to be fishing on purpose. In other words, there must be his support somewhere ahead. But what does he want to catch, a few German squads?

At dawn on the fifth day, Barton saw the fish. Johann Schmidt, who was leading a large wolfdog, personally led a group of people in pursuit.

Patton shouted in his heart: Will the Red Skull come to catch a Soviet spy in person? It's not that Barton is arrogant, he feels that there is at least % chance that the Red Skull is coming to find him.

The facts are basically consistent with Barton's guess. Sebastian Shaw spread the news about the attack on the concentration camp, and he even managed to get a few photos in his hands. Coupled with the mysterious Yaka arrow, Barton's silhouette soon appeared in front of the Red Skull again.

In the Battle of Carthage, Red Skull was beaten by Barton, but Hydra's intelligence capabilities are not limited. The Yaka arrow had left traces there. After battlefield investigation and multiple evidence collections, Barton was officially registered in Hydra. The Red Skull had been looking for him for more than a day or two.

So as soon as Xiao released the news, Red Skull responded quickly. After many analyses, he locked the area.

Interestingly, the Soviets were also very interested in the Red Skull. Its intelligence organization noticed the Red Skull's movements and set up a trap here to capture this guy. So, an interesting situation arises.

The Soviet man no longer ran away. He occupied an excellent position and fired at the pursuing German forward without sparing bullets, but he was quickly suppressed. The German troops in the rear accelerated their pursuit and soon trapped him.

But at this time, Soviet support appeared, and snipers on four high points attacked the enemy, causing the Germans to quickly suffer heavy casualties.

However, the German army responded quickly enough. After they found a suitable bunker, they immediately implemented fire suppression. One unlucky sniper was even killed directly.

Patton had discovered these snipers long ago, although they were quite scattered, and they were not four but five, and one of them never fired to reveal his position. Barton noticed that the gun used by this sniper was different. It seemed to be a specially-made super-era weapon, just like Sartre's.

Next, Barton saw an acquaintance, his former comrade Boris. Barton and Boris had not known each other for a long time, but the feeling of having fought together was very special, which made him a little excited when he saw Boris.

But now Boris is obviously working for the Soviets. He sneaks into the German army and kills them one by one. The newly formed battle line is suddenly in pieces. The snipers at high places took the opportunity to fire again, and this elite German army suffered more than half of its casualties in an instant.

The Red Skull finally took action himself. Using only an ordinary spear, he knocked out two sniper points in a row within a few seconds. When Boris flashed in front of him, he was punched to the ground. The last sniper hit the Red Skull with a bullet in the chest. The Red Skull just shook his head, then raised his hand and shot the sniper dead.

This bastard actually wore a body armor!

Barton, who was secretly watching the excitement, couldn't stand it anymore and complained silently in his heart. But the Red Skull has the qualities of a super soldier, and it is basically impossible for ordinary people to defeat him. He wants to know what the Soviets will do.
