Journey to the West: The beginning is a million-year cultivation base

"This monkey head is really fooled! I use a little tricks, and Jin Chanzi's words can't stand it anymore. It's just right. After I give Tang Sanzang the tight band and put it on your head, see if you still can't bear it." How arrogant!"

Venerable Avalokitesvara smiled, transformed into an old woman, walked towards Tang Sanzang with a cane.

Tang Sanzang was walking alone, wiping away his tears, when he suddenly saw an old woman walking towards her holding a cotton coat and a flower hat.

Tang Sanzang immediately took the reins, stood by the roadside, and let the old woman pass.

The old lady transformed by Avalokitesvara stopped, looked at Tang Sanzang, and asked, "Where are you an elder? Why are you walking alone in this wilderness?"

Tang Sanzang said aggrievedly: "The poor monk is a monk who is ordered to go to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures."

The old lady: "The Western Buddha is located in the Daleiyin Temple on the border of Tianzhu, and there are hundreds of thousands of miles. How can you get there alone?! Why don't you accept a disciple?"

Tang Sanzang said: "Oh, it's a long story. The poor monk took in an apprentice a few days ago, just because of his stubborn character. I gave him a few words, but he turned around and ran away. He has a bad temper, so I can't say it!"

The old woman said: "It turns out that the elder has an apprentice. It just so happens that my old lady has a straight cotton collar and a hat inlaid with gold flowers. It was originally prepared for my son, because he was a monk for a few days and then returned to vulgarity. He doesn't need the hat anymore, so give it to your apprentice to wear."

Tang Sanzang: "Thank you, old mother, for the gift, but my apprentice has gone far away. Everyone is gone, and the poor monk dare not accept it."

Avalokitesvara replied, "Where did your apprentice go?"

Tang Sanzang pointed to the east side, and said, "Dong side, he flew away on a dragon."

Avalokitesvara: "It's not far to the east. My home is in the east. I'll catch up and call him back, and I'll be your apprentice."

Tang Sanzang: "Thank you, old mother. It's just that your legs and feet are inconvenient. How can you catch up with my apprentice?"

Avalokitesvara: "Old lady, I have my own way. By the way, I have another mantra here, called Mantra of Peace of Mind. I will pass it on to you now. You must memorize it by heart. Don't let a third person know it."

Tang Sanzang: "What are the mantras used for?"

Guanyin: "I'm going to catch up with your apprentice. When he comes back, you put this cap on him. If he doesn't listen to you, just recite the mantra silently, and he will have a splitting headache and dare not do any more violence."

Tang Sanzang: "Does this mantra work? My apprentice is very capable. If the mantra doesn't work, he will hit me with a club and I will die!"

Guanyin: "Don't worry, as long as he wears this hat, the mantra will definitely work."

Tang Sanzang: "Great, thank you old mother!"

Seeing that Tang Sanzang had memorized the magic spell, Avalokitesvara no longer hid her identity, turned into a golden light, and chased straight to the east.

Seeing the old mother suddenly turned into a golden light, Tang Sanzang suddenly realized that it must be the Venerable Guanyin who changed.

Tang Sanzang quickly knelt down and kowtowed: "Thank you Bodhisattva!"

After the worship, Tang Sanzang put the clothes and hats given to him by Guanyin into the burden, sat on the side of the road and recited the mantra repeatedly.

After a while, he knew it by heart, and he just waited for Monkey King to come back.

In other words, he made a wish all the way to the east, but he didn't walk very fast, but deliberately waited for Venerable Guanyin to catch up.

"Bing'er, that fairy mountain over there is very beautiful, let's go and have a look!"

Along the way, wishing is traveling in mountains and rivers.

Not long after, Venerable Guanyin caught up.

Wishing to pretend not to know, he asked, "Sister Guanyin, why are you here?"

Venerable Avalokitesvara made a dark face on purpose, and said: "Wukong, you monkey head, you have the nerve to ask me?! Didn't you promise to protect Tang Sanzang on his journey to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures? Why did you come here?"

Make a wish: "Oh! Sister Guanyin, you don't know something! Tang Sanzang doesn't know what is good or bad. A group of robbers wanted to rob him and even killed him. My old grandson couldn't see it and beat the gang of thieves to death with a golden cudgel. Tang Sanzang But it’s not that I repeatedly scolded my grandson, my grandson was so angry that he left.”

Thinking of the success of his scheme, the Venerable Guanyin was secretly happy, and then said: "Wukong, Tang Sanzang just talked a little bit and then left? You took advantage of the Buddha and me? You can't do things well by collecting money? Quick, hurry back!"

Make a wish: "I won't go back! My old grandson, the great sage equal to heaven, suffers from his uselessness?!"

Venerable Avalokitesvara: "Wukong, you have to take a long-term view in everything. Forbearance is calm for a while. He just chanted a few words, you don't take it to heart. And, the Buddha said, when the Journey to the West is successful, there will still be you Your benefits will be rewarded by you. Go back quickly!"

Make a wish: "Really?"

Venerable Avalokitesvara: "Why did I lie to you? Go back quickly and become his apprentice in name."

Make a wish: "That's fine! For the sake of sister Guanyin's sincerity, then my grandson will go back. Binger, turn around and go back."

Little Dragon Girl: "Alright!"

Whoosh!

Xiao Longnv flew back with her wish on her back.

After making a wish and leaving, Avalokitesvara smiled.

"Monkey head, I'll just wait for you to go back! Wait for you to put on the tight band, and see if you still listen to my orders?!"

Not long after, Wishing caught up with Tang Sanzang again.

Tang Sanzang was sitting on a stone by the roadside, looking up to the east.

Seeing that Sun Wukong really came back, Tang Sanzang was overjoyed: "Wukong, you are back? I just want to say a few words about you, don't take it to heart."

Make a wish: "Well, I also figured it out. It's okay, my grandson doesn't hold grudges. Hey, your package seems to be bigger?"

Tang Sanzang was startled, but quickly forced himself to calm down, and said, "Oh, this is a coat and hat from a kind person after you left."

Make a wish: "What clothes and hats?"
