On September 9th, Li Qian brought the life and death frequency crew to Shenyang to shoot outdoor scenes.

The indoor scene was filmed in 18 days, and the time was within the plan.

The exterior scenes are mainly an explosion scene, a fire scene, scenes around the houses of the two protagonists, and some fragmentary scenes.

The main reason why I chose to shoot in Shenyang is because the movie is a story of two time and space.

Between 1987 and 2007, it is necessary to show the difference between the two eras without making the difference too large, which will create a sense of separation.

For example, when I shot a small city in a remote area in 87, I shot a metropolis like Beijing and Shanghai in 07. The difference is too big, which makes the audience feel awkward.

It can be divided into two ages, and the difference is not particularly big.

The Northeast is undoubtedly the most suitable. In the 80s, the Northeast was the first in China in terms of urban construction and living standards.

For various reasons, the development is slower than that of the eastern coast.

Over the past 20 years, the Northeast has seen relatively little change.

It's just that the foundation is here, the eldest son of the Republic, the three provincial capitals are also stronger than the central provincial capitals.

It happened that the Liaoyang Dongyao team was the champion of the China League One in 1987. At that time, the national football team had not yet become professional, and the China League One was later the Chinese Super League.

Football was also the sport with the highest audience and participation in that era, and there was no choice.

In the first two days, we filmed scenes near the house. Zhang Hanyu played football with his son and taught him how to ride a bicycle.

Deng Chao sat in the yard at night recalling the past, and talked with his father through the radio. After confirming his identity, he rushed out of the house excitedly on a rainy night to vent.

The filming is in full swing. Fortunately, Shenyang is not too cold in late September. It is close to [-] degrees in the morning and evening, and the highest temperature during the day is close to [-] degrees.

On the evening of September 9, the crew came to the suburbs to shoot the explosion scene at the beginning of the movie.

A fuel tank truck overturned on the road, fuel leaked, and the vehicle just pressed down on the entrance of the underground cable duct, and two workers were repairing the cable inside.

This explosion has nothing to do with the overall plot, but to show the image of the father. After all, he is a firefighter, and the fire scene can better show the image of a firefighter.

The scene of saving people inside the pipeline and the fire scene was filmed in the Huairou studio. This scene is about Zhang Hanyu being the last one to come out of the pipeline after saving people.

After coming out, the tank truck exploded immediately.

Now let’s shoot the scene where the fuel tank truck rolls over. The Jiefang fuel tank truck in the 80s was a little bigger than the ordinary van now, not the special long fuel tank truck now.

When shooting, the real car was used, and when it exploded, it was replaced with an equal-proportioned prop, and it was rendered later.

Professional things have to be done by professional people. State-owned studios did not make fewer war scenes in their early years, and they have enough experience.

Instead of directing blindly, Li Qian stood beside the actors and waited.

Shen Yang at the end of September was still quite cold at night, and the wind was not small, so Li Qian zipped up his jacket.
