The final resistance bonus comes from the combined value of the camouflage coefficient and the three major items. Assuming that the enemy's final resistance bonus is 70%, the loss effect is a 10% reduction in all-round resistance——
Accumulation: Final resistance bonus = 70%-10% = 60%
Multiplication: Final resistance bonus = 70* (1-10%) = 63%
At this moment, the cumulative effect is greater than the multiplication.
Assuming the final resistance bonus is 150%, and the all-round resistance is reduced by 10%——
Accumulation: Final resistance bonus = 150%-10% = 140%
Multiplication: Final resistance bonus = 150%*(1-10%) = 135%
At this moment, the effect of multiplication is greater than accumulation.
Obviously, the higher the opponent's final bonus resistance, the more advantageous the multiplication debuff is. The same applies to the gain effect.
However, accumulation has an advantage. If the opponent's resistance is very low, a high debuff can directly reduce the resistance to a negative value, and multiplication can only make the resistance infinitely close to 0.
The skill will not clearly state whether the calculation mechanism is accumulation or multiplication, but you can check the detailed judgment yourself.
Wei Miao checked and found that the resistance reduction of [Blood of Sin] is accumulation.
Resistance mainly affects the damage value and resistance to negative states in battle. In addition, according to the judgment of the Masquerade, resistance reduction is usually more noble than damage increase, because the damage increase is calculated first and then the resistance reduction is calculated.
The "Damage deepened by 10%" in the skill description of "Lamb's Wail" is equivalent to a 10% increase in damage. For example, suppose Wei Miao can cause 1000 damage and the enemy's resistance is 20%.
After a 10% increase in damage, Wei Miao causes 1000*(1+10%)*(1-20%)=880 damage; after a 10% reduction in resistance, Wei Miao causes 1000*(1-10%)=900 damage.
The result is obvious.
