The book will be available on July 5th, which is Friday, at the same update time as usual.

Three chapters will be updated in a row at noon, and there will be another update at 7 pm.

Originally, in the new book reserve, "Hun" was only ranked third. There were two books ahead of it: one was about the revival of ancient spiritual energy, completely market-oriented, and the other was a humorous story with a multi-universe setting. The worldviews, story structures, and basic character designs of both were completed.

I previously felt that I couldn't continue to take risks and try completely new themes. "Senior Brother is an Immortal" was a product of the previous era on Qidian. Now is the era of anti-piracy. If I don't create a market-oriented book with ultra-high average subscriptions, I will really be outdated.

So, I didn't plan to write this book at first. When I was working on the world-building structure of this book, I even took a picture of the guide map on the blackboard and showed it off in the group...

Good heavens, the setting was almost leaked!!!

Fortunately, I felt I couldn't leak it at the time, so I withdrew it, hehe.

So why write this brand-new theme?

I originally wanted to compare the beginnings of the three new books. When I wrote this book to the fourth chapter, when Wei Na fired the gun, my inspiration exploded. I couldn't suppress it or stop it. A fragmented doomsday world unfolded in my mind on its own. Because I needed to increase my word count in reality to combat sugar control, I simply wrote two books at the same time.

The day before I started the book, I asked the sister in the copyright department of Qidian, and the sister's reply was... Doomsday is difficult to sell.

This made me hesitate for a long time.

No one will go against money.

The "Senior Brother" anime has even been extended for another year, and the popularity is soaring. As long as I honestly produce a market-oriented, big male protagonist, funny, ancient costume cultivation novel, I can easily earn small money.

But for creators, what should they follow if they don't follow their own inspiration? Follow someone else's inspiration?

So, I sealed the two books that were ahead of it as new book reserves, fearing that I would regret it, and gritted my teeth and released it directly!

Let's do it!

It just confused the editor.

In this way, this book began, with zero recommendations at the beginning, and a quiet launch, but the readers of this book are becoming more and more numerous.

I started to delete and revise drafts in large quantities, just like during the "Senior Brother is an Immortal" period.

I don't have much expectation for the launch results. It will be good if it is stronger than when "Abyss Walker" was launched. "Abyss Walker" is a space opera without an upgrade system, so that thing goes against the market.

"Abyss Walker" is my worst-performing work in recent years, with an average subscription of 3,000 at launch, but it now has an average subscription of 17,000.

Having had the negative pressure exercise of "Abyss Walker", no amount of pressure can interfere with my state of writing now.

In short!

Everything in terms of results depends on you readers!

Next, I will focus on polishing "Hun"!

If my old readers see this testimonial, don't impulsively subscribe and spend money because of my old works. Take a look at the story, and only pay if you like the story.

In the future, I will continue to update steadily and pursue the quality of writing. After the Immortal Father writes the finale, I will choose the opportunity to add more updates here. After the Immortal Father is settled, I will rush to the list here to find traffic and first improve the early story.

A good story is always the first priority.

Every story and every theme cannot be liked by everyone.

As for other things, so-called Jianghu status, awards, titles, rankings, whether or not you are outdated... none of these are as meaningful as a reader's "good-looking."

Also, the title of the book was not chosen casually, but after careful consideration.

【Hun】represents the main style of this book, 【Cultivating Immortality Alone】is the main setting of the male protagonist, and 【Doomsday】is the background of the worldview. If it needs to be changed later, it can be changed to 'Doomsday Immortal' or 'Becoming Immortal Alone'. Everyone can also give some suggestions for good book titles~

The first act, Black Fire, is used to lay the foundation for the worldview. It is deliberately written to be more urgent and depressing. The overall style will not always be depressing. There is a process of going from underground to the sun.

The male protagonist's name represents a subsequent development route - Mechanical Enlightenment.

In the past six years, I have been practicing the creative philosophy of 'continuous innovation and expanding boundaries', trying spiritual energy revival, humorous and steady flow, Shan Hai myths, modern cultivation (failure), space opera, and this book, science fiction doomsday + cultivation counter-crossing.

These are all my ammunition depots.

After "Hun" is completed, I will draw cards from these themes and old stories according to the market trends, and repeatedly refine and produce new books with the stories, systems, and worldviews that have already been created.

The latest and fastest novel is on 6_9_shu_ba!

Expanding my writing themes is the only way I can think of to maintain my passion for writing for at least twenty years after careful consideration.

It's not that I don't want to repeat the successful formula of Senior Brother's Immortal. What I'm afraid of is that after repeating two books, I will completely lose my love for writing.

I am treating story creation as a lifelong career.

Therefore, according to my creative plan, regardless of whether "Hun" performs well or not, I will take a break for half a year to a year after writing it to recharge myself, and then start my next stage of more market-oriented creation.

In the future, I will continue to revise the manuscript repeatedly, prioritizing quality over speed, and strive to draw a satisfactory conclusion to this stage.

Okay, let's continue from the previous chapter and get back to the topic.
