I was a priest in the city-state era
Chapter 621 The Three Supreme Gods of Kyushu
Roy has no plans to mobilize troops from other regions to China mainland.
Because the Chinese continent is so big, even if Roy mobilizes 100,000 troops, it will be a drop in the bucket to rule the Chinese continent.
The only way Roy wanted to conquer the Chinese continent was to assimilate the locals of the Chinese continent into Athenians.
It's obviously not too difficult to do this.
Although Roy's policy was to eliminate the princes and nobles, there was no shortage of Fang countries and tribes who became slaves after defeat in the mainland of China.
For example, the Wei, Kunwu, Shun, and Three Kingdoms who supported Xia Jie in the Xia-Shang War were destroyed by Cheng Tang.
These vassal states were annexed by Shang, their nobles became human sacrifices of Shang State, and the common people became slaves of Shang State.
In Haocheng, the capital of Shang, there were tens of thousands of slaves from Wei, Kunwu, Shun, and the Three Kingdoms.
After Roy's army occupied Hao City, they converted all the slaves in the city into Chinese people and immediately gained the support of tens of thousands of people.
As for Roy's policy of eliminating princes and nobles——
What does this have to do with slaves?
Do slaves like to exploit the princes and nobles who enslave them?
When Luoyi distributed land in Haocheng and canceled taxes, even the common people of the Shang Kingdom began to support Luoyi's rule.
After all, although the princes and nobles were of the same race as them, they did not allow them to live a better life.
Could it be that because the princes and nobles are of the same race, the common people will support the rule and enslavement of the princes and nobles?
This is obviously impossible!
After recruiting five thousand soldiers in Haocheng, Luoyi began to occupy the Yuzhou area.
Yuzhou is a large central state.
Even if the towns in Yuzhou were not directly under the Xia royal family, they were still ruled by princes who supported the Xia kingdom.
Roy conquered Yuzhou and could eliminate the princes and nobles of Yuzhou without any scruples.
Because after the war between Xia and Shang, all the princes and nobles who supported Xia Jie had been eliminated by Cheng Tang.
The remaining princes and nobles had obviously betrayed Xia Jie.
As Xia Jie's son-in-law, Luoyi had the right to eliminate the princes and nobles who betrayed Xia Jie.
1594 BC.
July.
Yangzhou and Yuzhou were all included in the territory of the Athenian Empire.
Jizhou, Yanzhou, Qingzhou, Xuzhou, Yangzhou, Jingzhou, Yuzhou, Liangzhou, Yongzhou——
A quarter of the world of Kyushu has belonged to Roy.
Among the remaining seven states, Xuzhou, Qingzhou, Yanzhou, and Jizhou belong to the Tooyi ethnic group who worship the sun god Emperor Jun.
The Tori tribe is dominated by nine large tribes, and they are called the Jiu Yi tribe.
When Hou Yi ruled Yuzhou, he attacked the Niaoyi people, so he was called Yi Shejiu.
Jingzhou and Liangzhou [Sichuan] belong to the southern ethnic group who worship the earth goddess Nuwa.
Yongzhou belongs to the Rongdi ethnic group who worship the Emperor Yuanshi.
Xiqi and Qishan are located in Yongzhou.
In the pre-Qin era, the people of all directions in Kyushu were divided into four major ethnic groups.
The people in the east are called barbarians, and they are tattooed. There are those who eat without fire.
The people in the south are called barbarians, and there are those who eat without fire.
The people in the West are called Rong, and they are given clothes and skins, and there are those who do not eat grains.
The north is called Di, where people live in clothes and feathers, and there are those who do not eat grains.
It was Dongyi who worshiped the Sun God Emperor Jun, so the Sun God Emperor Jun was also called Donghuang Taiyi.
During the Warring States Period, King Qi was once known as the Eastern Emperor because the name "Eastern Emperor" existed in ancient times.
It is the Nanman who worship the Earth Goddess.
In another world, it is no accident that the descendants of the mythical Nuwa come from the south.
Among the nine states, Yongzhou is both in the west and in the north, so Xirong and Beidi are collectively called Rongdi.
Rong Di worshiped the Emperor Yuanshi.
Sun God Emperor Jun and Yuanshi Tianwang are both gods who rule the north, and they are both gods of the sky attribute.
The Earth Goddess who rules the south is a deity with earth attributes.
It is clear that Emperor Jun and Yuanshi Tianwang are more ancient local deities.
About 10,000 years ago, a group of people who worshiped the Earth Goddess brought the civilization and technology of the Neolithic Age to the south of the Chinese mainland and gradually expanded their territory.
After thousands of years of development, the Nanman people who worshiped the Earth Goddess ruled the south.
After the Southern Barbarians who worshiped the Earth Goddess entered the Bronze Age, they also entered Yongzhou to rule the north and established the Xia Dynasty.
In this process, Dongyi took the lead in absorbing the civilization of the Bronze Age and had enough military power to fight against the Southern Barbarians.
So the Sun God Emperor Jun challenged Nuwa, the Queen of the Gods, and drove Nuwa back to the south.
Six hundred years later.
Rong Di in the West - the Western Zhou Dynasty destroyed the Shang Dynasty, and the Yuanshi Heavenly King replaced Emperor Jun as the supreme god.
The Xia Dynasty was a country that worshiped the Earth Goddess. The Xia royal family claimed to be descendants of the Earth Goddess.
Therefore, the king of the Xia Dynasty used the word "hou", which symbolizes a woman, to represent the ruler, and called the king the queen of Xia.
The Shang Dynasty was a country that worshiped Emperor Jun, the sun god, and the Shang royal family claimed to be descendants of the sun god.
Therefore, the king of the Shang Dynasty used the word "emperor", which symbolizes wearing a crown, to represent the ruler, and gave the king the title of emperor.
The Zhou Dynasty was a country that worshiped the Yuanshi Heavenly King, but the Zhou royal family did not claim to be descendants of the Yuanshi Heavenly King.
Therefore, the king of Zhou claimed to be the emperor, but he only received orders from heaven.
The difference between them, simply put, is -
The rulers of Xia and Shang were direct descendants of the King of the Gods and therefore had authority over other gods.
Even if the gods are in front of them, they must bow their heads.
The rulers of the Zhou Kingdom were not the direct descendants of the King of the Gods, Yuanshi Tianwang, but the co-lord of the world who was born by destiny.
So the Zhou emperor was just a human being, and did not have the authority to command the gods like the Xia emperor and the Shang emperor.
In another world, Haotian, Yuanshi Tianzun, and the Jade Emperor, the great Taoist gods who symbolize [heaven], are actually the incarnations of Yuanshi Tianwang.
During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Zhang Daoling founded Taoism by deifying Laozi as Taishang Laojun and worshipping him as the ancestor of Taoism.
Tai means great. Shang means respected. The highest truth is the first, and all saints respect him. Therefore, he is called Taishang Laojun.
Lao means longevity. Ming Laojun cultivated heaven and earth, so he was naturally long-lived, so he was called Laoye.
Jun is a title of respect. His Tao is pure and his virtue is extreme, so he is called Junye. Ming Laojun is the ancestor of all saints and the ancestor of true gods. All things are created by Laojun, so he is the ancestor of the clan.
Taishang Laojun means the supreme god who is supreme, before heaven and earth, and transcends life and death.
There was no name of Yuanshi at that time.
It was not until the Northern and Southern Dynasties hundreds of years later that Yuanshi Tianwang entered the Taoist system as Yuanshi Tianzun and replaced Taishang Laojun as the Supreme God.
Taishang Laojun developed for hundreds of years, but he could not defeat the airborne Yuanshi Tianzun in his own Taoism.
It can be seen that outside of Taoism, the [Heaven] symbolized by Yuanshi Tianzun is widely worshipped.
After all, around 1000 BC, the [Heaven] symbolized by Yuanshi Tianwang was already worshipped as the Supreme God.
About 500 years later, Li Er, the prototype of Taishang Laojun, invented the theory of Taoism.
1,200 years later, Zhang Daoling founded Taoism.
It is normal that Taishang Laojun could not defeat Yuanshi Tianzun even in Taoism.
In the Shenzhou Continent, in addition to the three Supreme Gods, the Earth Goddess Nuwa, the Sun God Dijun and Yuanshi Tianwang, there are of course other gods.
But these weak gods are not qualified to be Roy's enemies.
After destroying the Sun God Dijun, Roy naturally looked towards the west.
Although Yuanshi Tianwang rose six hundred years later, he was now qualified to be Roy's enemy. Roy personally sent this god who symbolized the [sky] to the embrace of the Mother of the World.
