Volume 2. If I can’t appease the irritable furry Lolo, I’m done for

1. Rubiyanka’s all-inclusive package

Marriage is out of the question. Kefir, a girl with boundless prospects, couldn’t possibly end her protagonist’s life of glory in bed. After several days of strict but futile threats and warnings, we finally left the territory of the Great Ying Empire and safely arrived within the borders of the Russian Empire, thanks to Kefir’s identity.

As they say, the northern scenery, a thousand miles of ice, ten thousand miles of snow drifting~

The Russian Empire, known for its cold and unpredictable climate, did not disappoint us. As we changed into a carriage pulled by two Siberian big-tailed wolves to blend in with the locals, the moment we entered the capital of Russia, the heavens generously blessed us with snow, making me, accustomed to the mild climate of the Great Ying Empire, shiver.

“Neru.”

While I was putting on the coat I had prepared early, I called out to Neru, who had already started shivering, “At times like this, forget about your maid status and put on the coat quickly.”

Let’s forget about beauty freezing people; I’m also afraid that Neru might not catch some strange disease but sneeze herself to max level.

“Thank you!”

“Kefir, you too…”

Worrying about Nell, I naturally had to worry about Kefir as well. However, the moment I looked over, Kefir was about to open the door and go out, not even dressed properly, just wearing a thin yet strikingly eye-catching little dress!

“The magical power within me is akin to the icy attributes of this place, so I don’t need to put on more clothes, nor do I feel cold.”

Kefir turned her head and gave me a pleased look, seemingly satisfied with my attitude just now.

Everyone has a desire for beauty, and I suddenly understood: If Kefir were to go out wrapped up like a dumpling, could she still be called the protagonist?

“Charlatan, do you think I’m too ostentatious?”

Kefir’s expression wavered, her hands covering her chest.

“No.”

In truth, I didn’t dare say she was very cute and pretty. I was afraid of giving Kefir the wrong idea and, incidentally… getting punched.

“Cough cough, that’s good then! Keep up.”

After blushing and hesitating for a while, Kefir dragged both me and Nell down. Accompanied by what could be considered “hail” level ice pellets, the bone-chilling snowflakes immediately enveloped us. But thanks to what could be considered “severe” weather, everything in front of me was like a “snow country,” filled with a romantic and surreal style.

Kefir leaned close to me without a word: “This is the Rosian Empire, the largest and finest academy in the capital—Lubianka Academy. I’ve been studying abroad here for the past few years.”

As far as the eye could see, the “cold tolerance” of the Rosian Empire’s people was no joke. From the snow-covered streets to the flow of people entering and exiting the academy, those who should be bare-chested were still bare-chested, and those who should wear little dresses were still wearing them. At a glance, it wasn’t Kefir who was special, but Nell and I, wrapped up like zongzi.

“Sigh… Tonight, I’ll find some time to perform some basic cold-resistance contract magic on you, so you won’t have to be wrapped up like zongzi anymore.”

As she said this, Kefir’s attitude towards me seemed to become increasingly tense and shy. Before I could even ask if it was “that kind of contract” again, she had already pulled us by the hand into the academy.

“Charlatan, what are you daydreaming about!? Don’t think nonsense! It’s just a contract!”

I wasn’t thinking nonsense, it’s just…

[Student A killed Euclid because he stepped into the academy with his left foot first.]

[Student B killed Euclid because he could breathe.]

[Professor Moriarty will kill Euclid.]

From noble mtl dot come

[Euclid died a gruesome death within the academy.]

The script clearly stated as much, I hope I don’t go into the academy and court death.

But this is where Kefir, the protagonist, will “level up” next, and I have to be her accessory throughout, enjoying the protagonist’s halo. So… if I want to avoid the death scripts that come with entering the Rosian Empire, I can only continue to follow Kefir.

“It’s nothing.”

Shaking my head, I stepped into the dragon’s den once again.

During the time when I was still the villain Euclid, to avoid the pursuit of the church, I also hid in the Rosian Empire for a while. The Rosian Empire values martial prowess and takes theology lightly. Compared to the charlatans’ bluffs, they believe more in their own fists and the alcohol in their bottles. Of course, this also has to do with the tyrannical despotism of Ivan Leti, the great emperor of the Rosian Empire. The Rosian Empire is now the most restless among the nations, eager to annex the “borderless region” we visited before.

And this Lubianka University, the waters are actually deeper than Kefir knows. It is indeed the best academy in the Rosian Empire, but it is also a place for selecting some “secret talents.” Kefir is unaware of this, which only shows: her foreign identity is looked down upon and guarded against by the Rosian Empire, or at least by the higher-ups within this academy.

Just as I was carefully following Kefir to avoid any sudden death scripts, the academy’s traditional activities had already begun.

“The world’s number one sword, the White Emperor’s Holy Sword!”

“Follow me with your sword! For Demacia!”

“Hurrah!”

“Hurrah!”

To put it nicely, it’s a traditional event of the Rosian Empire; to put it bluntly, it’s just two groups of guys in their underwear brawling. In such an empire, the ‘death scripts’ for me are countless, especially since any random Ivan could potentially beat me to death.

And sure enough, trouble came immediately!

As the group of Ivans shouted “Hurrah!” and charged, they threw their bottles out! One of them flew straight towards me, its speed comparable to a shot put!

【Eugene was killed by a flying bottle!】

This Rosian Empire is too dangerous! I’ve only been here for a morning!

“Kefir, forw—”

Before I could finish, Kefir swiftly pulled me to her side and skillfully erected an ice wall on the snowy ground, shattering the bottle with a loud “bang.”

Of course, the Ivans didn’t do it on purpose. They were too busy brawling to notice, so even though Kefir frowned, she couldn’t vent her frustration directly.

Naturally, this little grievance fell on me.

“Charlatan, letting you and Nell wander around laughing and looking everywhere, I didn’t bring you here for sightseeing!”

Boss, are you focusing on the right thing?

“Cough cough! Anyway, stick with me! Hold on tight. Next, we’re going to meet Professor Moriarty, who will arrange the next part of your itinerary.”

Kefir’s blush was even more evident against the snowy backdrop, and then she took a step back…

Squeezing between me and Nell, she grabbed our hands, one on each side.

So all this fuss was just to hold hands, huh.
