The heart

The main generator of all living beings. To be honest, if it wasn't for the Immortal Sovereigns reminder Elric wouldn't have even thought about it.

"Davis as you must know, the heart pumps blood throughout the human body"

"Arteries transport blood from the heart throughout the body."

"While veins carry blood back to the heart" Said Elric as he began teaching Davis some basic science

"However, what if mana is passed through those veins and arteries along with the blood?"

Drawing using a twig to make some drawings on the ground Elric's eyes shone with excitement.

The more he spoke the more he felt the feasibility of his idea.

Even Davis next to him had gradually come to the same realisation as him.

After all, although Davis didn't know a lot of the things and terms that Elric said

However, Elric's words just reminded him of the discovery George made during his creation of bloodline factors.

Back then when George was explaining his discovery to him, Elric and Alvin,

Davis recalled George saying something about how detected mana in the blood bats blood.

Not only that, thinking back now Almost all magic beasts they had dissected up till now all contained traces of mana in their blood.

At first, Davis thought that they might be contaminated from the continuous use of their abilities

However, now it turns out he was wrong

"Take the heart as a mana core, and use the veins and arteries to transport mana around the body"

Shocked by this realisation Davis couldn't help but scream out loud.

If things were to be done like this, then Davis was sure that after dissection their blood would be in the same state as those beasts

Infected with mana, no not infected

Rather the correct wording would be their bodies contained a high mana affinity

Thinking of this, Davis felt excited. If he succeeded in creating this with the young master, then his department head position was all but sealed.

Looking at Davis who suddenly became excited, Elric knew he had finally caught on.

In fact, Elric could have chosen any of the three Alvin, Davis, and George to help him.

Even if worse came to worse and everybody was busy he could have done it himself after all, Hogwarts was still in a fairly busy state

However in order not to let Davis feel left out, Elric decided to give him the opportunity to become the first first-circle wizard and become a department head.

Thinking of this, Elric looked toward Davis with a slight glint in his eyes

Saying this in his mind, Elric took out a palm-sized crystal from the small world.

With a purple exterior and jagged edges everywhere, the whole crystal gave a mysterious feel to it

"Davis, I'm sure you know what this is"

Twirling the crystal in between his fingers, Elric slowly held it up before Davis

"Yes Young master, I do"

"Mana crystal, that's definitely a mana crystal" said Davis

As someone who had extracted it from a multitude of corpses, Davis was a hundred and one percent sure that it was a mana crystal.

However, there was something he couldn't quite understand.

Why did Elric suddenly bring one out? As for why he suddenly appeared, by bow Davis was used to the existence of the small world.

Luckily, it seemed that Elric had already expected him to have such a reaction.

So, without waiting for Davis to ask anything, Elric already began explaining its purpose.

"Yes Davis, it's a mana crystal or mana core"

"This is one of the cores from the thunder bunnies corpse back then"

"And this same core is going to be the key to you becoming a first-circle wizard!"

Taking a pause, Elric waited for Davis to digest what he had said so far before continuing.

"You see Davis, if we want mana to flow through our blood just like magic beasts, then we must first analyse the structure of their core!"

"And after taking a closer look, do you know what I found?"

"Circles!"

"Yes the core was made up of a combination of strange runes in circles"

"This is also why I call this path the path of a circle wizard"

Speaking of this, Elric remembers back then how he was shocked by his discovery

With the consecutive upgrades of the A.I. Chip, its analysis capabilities have increased hundreds of times compared to the past.

So many things he couldn't scan, today can be easily analysed in a few seconds.

And one of those things was the mana core.

Back then, whenever he tried to scan it, the A.I. chips answer would always be the same

With that unknown force being nana.

But now, under the upgraded power of the A.I. chip, although Elric couldn't say all, but a good portion of the mana cores mysteries had been open before him.

A series of runes which he had never seen before, formed a circle residing deep within the depths of the mana core

Most likely, these runes help in the absorption of mana from the outside world into the core.

Not only that according to Elric's guesses, but they may also be responsible for carrying the mana through the body

*In fact, this might not be the only thing that it does*

*Who knows what other things we might discover as we go*

Looking at the core in his hand, Elric couldn't wait to start

However, before that, there was just one thing he needed to do.

"Davis, how would you like to become a first circle wizard?"

"All you need to do is offer up your body to this young master"

Looking at Davis who was still daydreaming about becoming department head, Elric laughed evilly
