I Became A System

Ellena's eyes are flickering. I can understand it since I also felt the excitement when I discovered this. It's not just because I have a new system; what's interesting is the effect. And Ellena is somewhat of a maniac when fighting. Like a battle junkie.

"What do you think of this?" I asked Ellena as we were on our way to Selena and Rosellete's room.

'I'm excited. Can't you see?'

That was sarcastic. But I find it cute.

Ellena is wearing her 'The Masked Monster' outfit. Furthermore, she activated her stealth ability to reduce the number of people who could distinguish her presence from 'The Masked Monster'. Although they won't notice her if they don't face her. It's helpful to us since people are naturally careless, usually when they are in public places.

After telling them that she'd be on a quest, Rosellete assured Ellena that Thalia would be safe with them. Even though Ellena wasn't particularly showing her concern for Thalia when it came to safety, I can feel that she was worried since she requested that they look over Thalia.

When she was already done with some matters, she took a quest and went straight to the location.

Now, the only thing I need to know is how I can gift.

I called out the window for the Technique Bringer system and looked at it intently.

I finally get it. There is also information about the distance my target is. So, it could be possible if my target is a few meters away, as long as I can see them.

Okay! Let's start the gifting! I just need to select what I want. It also appears that the contents of the list were designed like a button, so I just assumed that I had to click this too.

She nodded and looked at her hands. She also unsheathed her sword and swung it immediately like how it was described in the book.

No way… This is just too amazing! It was really the same! It appears like gifting is a blessing, as knowledge is transferred to a target. And now that I gave Ellena the technique, it means that she learned the technique without even practicing it!

"I know how to use it? This is incredible!" Ellena remarked as she played another form of the technique. It was the 2nd form in which she slides her one leg, making a semi-circle, and her sword swings above according to her leg's movements.

I get it now… This is something equivalent to skills in video games. The only difference is that it was instant knowledge, and not a chanted skill to activate.

Ah… so the only limiter is a cooldown. Nothing more.

It made me happy and relieved. This seems to be convenient, really. I know that I just repeated it, but how can I help myself to stop? These were my pure thoughts.

"This is truly amazing, Aaron!" Another remark came from Ellena as she danced another form of the technique. It was graceful. It's almost different from what I picture in my brain. This feels like a performance from an expert.

"Growl!..."

Just as Ellena was still practicing, a chimeric monkey suddenly appeared from afar. Though I don't know the name of that monster, it's not important since it's going to die anyway.

This isn't a monster-slaying technique and is purposely made to fight with humans. However, this is also a good chance to try its power. Even though it came from an average shop that is open to everyone, I assume that the power is also average.

However, it will still be good to have an idea of the techniques' standards. I can also put into account proficiency. If this technique is learned in a normal manner, I believe the power will be diminished.

But Ellena learned it in a special way. So I can just say that Ellena must have a full grasp of the technique, which can also mean that she can bring the full potential of the technique.

"You look gruesome. I must test this technique on you." Ellena mumbled with a grin on her face.

Without wasting any second and letting the monster pounce at her, Ellena dashed to it and prepared her sword for the technique.

And just by using the 1st form, Ellena had already beheaded the monster.. It was lame… This doesn't feel good to try on monsters as I expected.
