When everything was finally settled for Thalia, we went to the guild with Ellena wearing her dark garments and mask.

Before Ellena could even get to the guild, people were already looking at her, following her movements till she reached the guild.

Ah… so those were the perks, huh? Points are slowly emerging, but there weren't that many when Ellena first visited the guild after the test. But still, it's useful.

… Ellena just leveled up!

I immediately reported it to Ellena since she can't feel it completely. When I said it to her, a smile appeared on her face behind the mask.

'That's good. But can you please check it first? I can't assist you right now since I got to report to the guild for my duel with Verxal. You know, it's been two weeks since the test.'

I just nodded and proceeded with checking the updates. Now, I won't misinterpret that my employer was the one giving me upgrades. This is all on me, so I hope that I will be upgraded after leveling up.

Ellena went straight to the receptionist and mentioned the plans, and as we wanted, Yskaen mentioned them to the local staff.

Ellena was settling things with a staff that assisted her. While she's doing it, I dig updates in my memory.

I sighed and closed my eyes to concentrate.

First… the updates on the exchange rate of abilities were lowered by a total of 50%. It was good! However, I can feel that the calculation for the ability to contribute to a situation was still the same. It wasn't bad though. I was just thinking of the exchange rate since Ellena is already dependable and independent when things get unexpected.

So… what I need to know is new things that may affect me. Perhaps like the Evolution Tree and sensing auras? But even if I try hard… I can't see anything new.

No! I should keep on trying. Maybe there will be at least.

How about I try testing my control over my soul? If my hypothesis was right, every level up Ellena had would upgrade my connection or control of my soul.

I can see light from this darkness. This might be another upgrade. I remember that before I had a pixie body, I was dreaming of this same blue light. Let's try reaching it…

I tried to reach it, but I couldn't. Even if I put an effort in, I can't seem to control my immersion in this darkness. Well, I'm still conscious in reality, so I guess that's what makes it.

So, what should I try? Concentrate more? Like almost sleeping in reality. If I still remain here, even sleeping, I will surely reach that light as it wasn't approaching me.

I just tried to reach it. Seconds felt like minutes. And eventually, it became hours. How long have I been trying to achieve this?

What happened actually? Why does it feel like Ellena isn't on my side?

But just before I tried to open my eyes, I felt my body moving forward.

Ugh… this is tempting. I should continue this and just disregard the thought that I am starting to get disconnected from my consciousness.

I just slowly approached the light, and as my efforts bore fruit, I reached it. I touched it and felt a nostalgic warm sensation.

This feels new. But I hope that this is the upgrade I was wanting.

Ng! What is this?! I felt like my body became sluggish…

I opened my eyes as I heard Ellena's call.

'Are you okay? You were silent for almost 10 minutes.'

10 minutes? I was just out for a moment? Yet it feels like it has been.

Sighs… This isn't good.

"Sorry. I was checking the updates." I said.

'Oh. I see. Then please continue, I will just wait for the staff that was assisting me.'

"Okay."

What was it? That bright blue light...I feel like I took something.

Huh? This window… It's the same window I saw when I became a pixie! What's this? It feels like I… No way… This is another upgrade for me! This is it!

This is… my very own status board. I feel like it has been years, but it was just a half year ago! But there is new content in this one. Soul System? And it's 3/100!

If I can understand it well, this soul system is what I have opened. Perhaps the system I have access to.

Technique Bringer? What is this?... I feel like this is something awesome! Or beneficial to Ellena!

I dug for information in my memory and saw the purpose of the Technique Bringer. It turned out to be a system that could help me gift a technique to any target. And it feels like I am independent of Ellena. If it's true that I can gift a technique, does this mean that any technique will do?

But first, what kind of technique?...

Fighting, Production, Archery, Magic, and others… I give a technique away unless I learn it? And it's not even needed that I can physically learn it. I just need to memorize it!

And it means… things that I have learned, I will be able to give them to Ellena!

This is the system that I can do and I don't need Ellena's presence to do it! Even the second system I had was just unexpectedly independent from Ellena.

If things go well, I can unlock everything! And I have a clue how to do it! I just need to have Ellena level up the Fear System and in that way, I can unlock more systems. I can also feel like I'm getting connected or get more access to my special soul ability.

Hah… I need to tell Ellena about this.. But before that, I need to leave her side and collect more techniques and see how I can gift her.
