Chapter 855 Percy's Letter
In fact, before Harry experienced the comfort of Umbridge's ugly expression, an unexpected letter broke the good mood of several people.
Although he had made some preparations, Percy's changes disappointed Fan Lin.
Percy was too blind, blindly trusting the Ministry of Magic instead of Hogwarts, which had always supported him.
In fact, it had been a pleasant evening back in the Gryffindor common room, and Harry was happily catching up on his homework.
Isn't that Hummel? Hermione said in surprise.
Ah, it is! whispered Ron, dropping its quill and standing up. It should be Percy. What did he give me?
Ron went to the window and opened it, and the piglet flew in with all his strength, landed on Ron's parchment and stretched out the foot that was bound with the letter.
Ron took down the letter, and the owl left immediately, leaving dark footprints on Ron's satellite image.
That's indeed Percy's handwriting. Ron said, retreating back to his chair in silence, staring at the words on the outside of the scroll: Hogwarts, Gryffindor House, Ron Weasley.
Ron looked at several other people, Percy's letter, which made Ron a little uncertain, Percy had become a disappointment to the Weasleys, and now.
What do you think it is? Harry asked.
Open it! Hermione said eagerly, and Fan Lin nodded accordingly. Anyway, you have to watch it sooner or later, so there is no need to make random guesses.
Ron untied the scroll and began to read, the angrier he got as he looked down.
When he finished reading it, he was disgusted.
Ron handed the letter to Harry, Van Lin, and Hermione, and the three of them leaned sideways and read together:
Dear Ron: I've just heard (as a Ministry man himself, your new teacher, Professor Umbridge) that you've become a prefect. As I was pleasantly surprised to hear this news, I must start by offering my congratulations.
I have to admit I was always terrified of you going the so-called Fred and George route, even more so than following me, so you can imagine me hearing that you've stopped mocking authority and taking real responsibility feeling of time.
But I want to tell you something bigger than congratulations,
Ron, I want to give you some advice, which is why I'm writing to you so late at night, contrary to my usual morning letter style. I hope, hopefully, that after reading this you will have your eyes opened and your clumsy questions cleared away.
From what the Ministry of Magic has told me, I know you still have Harry Potter and Valin Ayer mixed in.
I must tell you, Ron, that there is nothing more dangerous than going on with these two boys for losing your prefect.
Yes, I'm sure you'll be surprised when you read this - no doubt you'll say that Potter is Dumbledore's favorite, and so is Val Linair, who's the new Head of the Student Council - but, I am I'm sorry to tell you that Dumbledore won't be at Hogwarts much longer, and those who succeed him will see the performance of these two very differently - perhaps more correctly - from him.
I don't want to say more here, but if you watch tomorrow's Daily Prophet, you'll get a better idea of the wind - and hopefully you'll discover your true side!
In particular, Ron, don't tell Potter and Al about this, it's very bad for your prospects, and I'm here to tell you about your life after graduation.
You have to know, our dad escorted Potter to the courthouse, Potter was reprimanded throughout the Wizengamot hearings, and he came out not looking well.
He came out as an exception, and if you ask me, a lot of people I've spoken to think he's guilty. It could be that you're afraid to cut ties with Potter - I know he's probably crazy, and he's violent from what I know - but if you're worried about that, or your relationship with Potter is broken I urge you to tell Professor Umbridge, I tell you, that Umbridge was a real delightful woman.
Having said that, I will give you some other small advice. As I tipped you above, Dumbledore's regime may be coming to an end soon. You'll be loyal, Ron, not to him, but to the school and the Ministry. I'm sorry to hear that, so far Umbridge has had a bit of trouble making the necessary changes for the Ministry at Hogwarts with zeal (although she should have an easier time from next week on— — again to you, watch tomorrow's Daily Prophet!), that's all I'm saying — a student who wants to help Umbridge would be more than welcome!
I'm sorry I can't come to see you in the summer, it hurts to criticize our parents, but I'm worried we won't be able to live with them because it's dangerous to stay with Dumbledore (if you Write to Mum when it's time, and you can tell her with certainty that Mundungus, a good friend of Dumbledore's, has been sent to Azkaban by the Ministry of Magic for trespassing. Perhaps that will make those shoulder-grinding People open their eyes.)
I think I've been very lucky to have escaped such a disgraceful man - Minister Fudge really couldn't have been kinder to me - and I hope, Ron, that you stop being misled about your relationship with your parents, your trust, your actions, Blind your eyes.
I sincerely hope that in time they realize the mistake they made, and I am, of course, ready for the day when a full apology will come. Please think carefully about what I have said, especially those related to Harry Potter and Valin Eyre, and I wish you to become a prefect again!
your brother percy
Harry looked up at Ron in embarrassment.
Okay, Harry said with mock relief, trying to sound like he was taking the whole thing as a joke. If you want to... er... what's this?... Harry checked Percy's letter... Oh, yes... 'cut ties' and me...I swear I'm not violent.
Put it back, said Ron, holding out his arm.
He's— said Ron hastily, tearing Percy's letter in half, 'this world—' he tore the letter into four pieces, 'the biggest—idiot! '
Ron snorted coldly, then tore the whole letter into eight pieces.
Ron threw the shards into the stove.
Come on, we've got something to finish before dawn, he said briskly to Harry, pulling Professor McGonagall's paper ahead of Harry. Fan Lin, come and help us...
Hermione looked at Ron with a strange expression, and then looked at Harry and Fan Lin, seemingly not paying attention.
In fact, Fan Lin had been prepared for a long time, starting from the arrival of the broken shoe letter on the table.
Oh, Fan Lin, you can continue to fiddle with your alchemy experiment data, and... Ron...you put them here, she said suddenly.
What? said Ron.
Give them to me and I'll go over them again, she said.
You're that serious? Oh, Hermione, you can save lives, said Ron, I can...
I guess, I don't really want to, but... Hermione paused, holding Harry and Ron's papers in both hands.
We want you to promise you'll never leave your homework so late again, Hermione said, holding their papers in both hands, but she looked at them both mockingly.
