Now he could no longer care about the cause and effect. Zhunti hurriedly asked about the method of becoming a saint, which was the key. Jie Yin said helplessly:

"It is the great aspiration to attain enlightenment! With the great vows of heaven and earth, plus the merits of our two founding religions, by then, we should have the hope of attaining enlightenment and becoming saints!"

Jie Yin looked at Zhunti's expectant eyes, and he also understood in his heart that time waits for no one. The two of them are now lagging behind. If they don't become saints, the gap between them and the people in the East may be so big that it cannot be made up. By then, everything will be too late.

"However, the grand wish is to withdraw merit from the Heavenly Dao in advance. Once the grand wish is made, we must complete it. Otherwise, if it is not completed, the Heavenly Dao will bring down disasters, which may be punishment from heaven. To prove the truth and become a saint in this way is not as free as Laozi, Yuanshi and other saints. There are many constraints in doing things!"

Zhunti was stunned when he heard it. This is to become a saint! How great a grand wish is needed to make two people become saints? It is simply unimaginable. With such actions, I am afraid that it is useless to establish a great religion. By then, such a big cause and effect will be enough to destroy the great religion. Zhunti's face kept changing, and he began to struggle with his conscience.

""Okay, let's use this method."

Finally, Zhunti gritted his teeth and agreed.

Jieyin looked at Zhunti in surprise, but he didn't expect Zhunti to agree. He was ready to think of other ways. Although he couldn't be sure that he would come up with a better way, it was better than this method of great aspiration. But Zhunti actually agreed, Jieyin was a little unbelievable

Zhunti looked at Jie Yin and knew what Jie Yin was thinking, so he immediately said to Jie Yin:

"Brother, time is running out for me! The affairs of the great sect will be planned later, but now it is important to become a saint. We are in the barren land of the West, but we are not afraid that the people in the East will come to trouble us. It is just the right time to develop a great sect. When there is a change in the East, we can take action. It is not impossible to develop our sect."

Jie Yin listened to Zhunti's words and thought in his heart.

Zhunti's words still make sense. The West has been very barren since the war between the three tribes and the Demon Sect. People in the East probably don't like it. So it is just the right time to develop a great sect and wait for the opportunity. It is not impossible to develop it.

Thinking of this, Jie Yin looked at Zhunti and said,"Since my brother agrees, let's do it."

So, the two of them said loudly on Lingshan Mountain:"Today, I, Jie Yin, and Zhunti will jointly establish a sect in the West, called: Buddhism. Guide all living beings to be good, free from suffering and worries, and become a land of bliss."

After the two finished speaking, the merits of establishing the religion began to accumulate in the air under the induction of the Heavenly Dao, but they did not fall down like Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian. Jieyin and Zhunti did not dare to neglect it and hurriedly made great vows. Waves of Sanskrit chanting spread throughout the prehistoric land:

"If I attain the supreme Bodhi and become a Buddha, the Buddha land I reside in will be adorned with immeasurable and inconceivable merits.

There will be no hells, hungry ghosts, animals, or flying creatures.

All sentient beings, as well as those in the Yama Realm and the three evil ways, will be reborn in my land, receive my teachings, and all attain Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.

They will no longer fall into the evil ways.

If I achieve this wish, I will become a Buddha.

If I do not achieve this wish, I will not attain the supreme enlightenment.

If I become a Buddha, sentient beings in the ten directions sincerely believe in and wish to be reborn in my country, and even recite my name ten times, if they are not reborn, I will not attain enlightenment.

Except for the five heinous crimes and slandering the Dharma. If I become a Buddha, sentient beings in the ten directions will develop bodhi minds, cultivate merits, and sincerely wish to be reborn in my country.

If I do not appear before them with a great crowd at the end of their lives, I will not attain enlightenment. If I become a Buddha, sentient beings in the ten directions will hear my name, think of my country, plant many virtues, sincerely dedicate themselves to be reborn in my country, and if they are not reborn, I will not attain enlightenment.

When I become a Buddha, those who are born in my country will have all the food, clothing, and various offerings they need, and all will be satisfied. All the Buddhas in the ten directions will accept their offerings. If not, I will not attain enlightenment.

When I become a Buddha, all things in my country will be solemn, pure, and radiant, with unique shapes and colors, extremely subtle and wonderful, and beyond measure.

Although all living beings have divine eyes, they can distinguish their shapes, colors, radiances, names, and numbers, and even describe them in general. When I become a Buddha, there will be trees of countless colors in my country, some hundreds and thousands of yojanas high. The trees in the temples are four million miles high.

Among the bodhisattvas, even those with inferior roots of goodness can also know them. If they want to see the splendor of the pure lands of the Buddhas, they can see them among the precious trees.

When I become a Buddha, all living beings who are born in my country will eventually reach the stage of bodhisattvahood in one lifetime. Except for those who have made the original vow for the sake of sentient beings, they will wear the armor of great vows and teach all sentient beings, so that they all have faith, practice the bodhi path, and follow the path of Samantabhadra.

When I become a Buddha, all bodhisattvas in other worlds who hear my name will realize the law of liberation and obtain dharani. Pure and joyful, attaining equality.

Practicing the Bodhisattva Way, having the virtues

As soon as the chanting stopped, petals were seen flying in the air, golden lotuses emerged from the ground, a golden light filled the sky and earth, a relic flew into the air, and waves of sandalwood fragrance were refreshing.

The two of them made forty-eight great wishes in one fell swoop, creating the Western Paradise, wanting to save all living beings. With the response of the heavenly way, they finally became saints and achieved the supreme Tao fruit. Zhunti also manifested his own relic, became the Buddha, and obtained the position of Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian.

Buddhism is also a Western religion, with the innate twelve-grade golden lotus to suppress the destiny.

Jie Yin and Zhunti became saints and chanted Buddhist scriptures for three months. The sound of Sanskrit resounded throughout the wilderness, attracting many believers and Buddhists to join.

At this point, all the six saints set by Hongjun have returned to their positions.

Only the last one, Hongyun, has not returned.

After seeing the six saints return to their positions, Hongyun was also very anxious, but Hongyun had no way to prove the Tao.

In desperation, Hongyun walked out of the cave.

"Alas, I don’t know where the opportunity to attain enlightenment is. Well, I’ll go out for a walk first. The ginseng fruit of Taoist friend Zhen Yuanzi should be ripe. I’ll go and try some!"

Thinking of this, Hong Yun drove the cloud to Wuzhuang Temple.

However, Hong Yun did not know that someone was watching him all the time.

That was Kunpeng. After Kunpeng lost his position as a saint, all the hatred and resentment fell on Hong Yun's head.

Although Kunpeng was subdued by Di Jun Taiyi and had been a demon master, how great was Kunpeng's hatred. Therefore, Kunpeng had been sending people to watch Hong Yun. As long as Hong Yun appeared, Kunpeng was ready to hunt Hong Yun.

One was to obtain purple air, and the other was to take revenge and settle the cause and effect of the sainthood.

In fact, by now, Hong Yun was really doomed to die. His giving up the throne caused the cause and effect of the sainthood between Hongjun and Kunpeng Zhunti.

Kunpeng's sainthood was lost because of Hong Yun, so he fought to the death.

Zhunti owed Hong Yun the cause and effect of the sainthood. This is the sainthood, how can it be repaid?

This cause and effect cannot be repaid at all, so even if Kunpeng did not kill Hong Yun this time, Zhunti would kill Hong Yun.

If the huge debt cannot be repaid, then killing the creditor is the best way.
