Hogwarts: This wizard wants to make progress too much
#27 - Section 27
Since those guys were deaf, Ethan decided to help them out.
“You lowly mudbloods, petrificus totalus…”
Barry's face turned red as he drew his wand and aimed it at Ethan, but before he could finish his spell, he was hit by a red light, sending him flying backward four or five meters as if he had been struck by a speeding car.
The Knockback Jinx, a very simple basic spell!
Having specifically consulted with Professor Flitwick about casting techniques, and with his improvement over this period, Ethan could now cast relatively simple spells silently, even if he hadn't practiced them many times.
“Now it's your turn!”
After taking down one, Ethan turned to look at the remaining four Slytherin snakes.
They were companions, supposed to share joys and sorrows.
“D-don't come any closer!”
The wizard named Harvey, who had been the loudest earlier, trembled as he retreated. Today, he finally learned what a genius was.
That spell that sent Barry flying was definitely silent. They were in their fourth year and still dutifully chanting spells. The difference was too great.
Moreover, he had taken down the strongest, Barry, with one blow. How could they fight this?
“What are you afraid of? He's just one person. If we attack together, we have the advantage!”
One of the wizards shouted loudly, as if trying to boost their courage, but his trembling hands betrayed him.
However, it seemed to have some effect. Hearing his words, the other three immediately drew their wands and pointed them at Ethan.
“Expelliarmus!”
“Bombarda!”
“Diffindo!”
“Petrificus Totalus!”
Bang!
The abdomen of the one who had shouted the loudest suddenly exploded, sending blood and organ fragments flying everywhere, some hitting their companions' faces.
Meanwhile, a layer of magical shield appeared around Ethan, blocking all incoming spells, only causing ripples.
Siphon Energy, causing the opponent to explode while absorbing their magic to strengthen his shield and enhance his next spell.
If Ethan hadn't held back, he would have blown the guy to pieces.
After all, in Hogwarts, injuring someone and killing someone were two different concepts.
“Ah! H-he's dead!”
“Quick, find a professor!”
…
The surrounding wizards panicked. Bullying was common on campus, and they usually watched it as entertainment. If they knew the people involved, they might even help out. But who knew it would turn out like this?
Ignoring the Slytherin snake lying on the ground, his life or death unknown, Ethan looked at the other three still standing.
With a gentle wave of his wand, the three of them were hung upside down, their tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths, preventing them from begging for mercy.
They could only watch as Ethan approached step by step.
This put immense psychological pressure on them.
Ethan clenched his hand in the air, and five wands flew into his grasp.
Sectumsempra was cast, and the invisible blade gently sliced through the five wands, breaking them in half and exposing the damaged cores inside.
Without a doubt, all these wands were ruined.
Although the wands were innocent, they were better off without masters like these!
Leaving one half of a wand in his hand, Ethan discarded the rest and cast a Transfiguration spell.
The half-wand began to enlarge and lengthen, eventually transforming into a baseball bat.
Putting away his wand and carrying the baseball bat, Ethan walked towards the three wizards hanging upside down with a friendly smile on his face.
He completely ignored the few younger wizards around him who wanted to dissuade him but didn't dare to.
Having been at Hogwarts for so long, Ethan had always presented himself as harmless, except for being a good student. This made people think he was easy to bully.
That's why these guys had come to his door.
Today, he would show his classmates whether he was easy to bully or not.
“Don't be afraid, take a deep breath, yes, it will be over soon!”
Ethan patted one of their faces, whispering in his ear.
After thinking about it, he released the tongue-tying curse on the three of them, because it would be too regrettable if he couldn't hear their screams during the process.
Bang!
Ethan struck the joint of his left arm with the baseball bat, and a pig-like scream erupted. The little snake, hanging upside down, clutched his injured arm, his face turning pale as he looked at Ethan with a pleading expression.
Bang!
The right arm clutching the left arm also drooped limply.
Next were the legs. As for the fifth limb, forget it, it wouldn't be good. Ethan still valued his reputation.
“Please, let us go. We'll give you Galleons, we'll be your underlings…”
The other two were begging for mercy in a panic, preferring to faint like the two on the ground.
But how could Ethan listen to their pleas? He raised the baseball bat, and accompanied by the sound of eight bones breaking, these two followed in the footsteps of the others.
“Don't worry, you're companions, they won't escape either!”
Turning around, Ethan didn't forget to comfort the three.
Walking to the side of the little snake whose abdomen had been blown open, Ethan didn't use the baseball bat this time, but directly stomped down with his foot.
He performed a forced Transfiguration spell on the wound on his abdomen to stop the bleeding. As for what would happen later, it was none of his business, as long as he didn't die.
If this weren't Hogwarts, he would have let the Grimwings eat their brains and the Voldemorts eat their corpses.
“Mr. Adrien, I was wrong, please forgive me. Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle told us to come. Really, it was their idea, and Draco Malfoy, he's behind this.”
Seeing Ethan approaching, Barry, who had been pretending to be unconscious after being knocked away, couldn't hold on any longer and quickly got up, begging for mercy with a bitter face.
“Is that so?”
Ethan sneered and knocked him in the teeth with the bat, filling his mouth with blood.
“Swallow it!”
His face was still smiling, but Barry didn't dare to disobey!
Although he was very obedient, he still had to go through the necessary procedures. None of his brothers could be missing.
After doing all this, Ethan tossed the blood-stained baseball bat aside and waited for the professors to arrive.
Although it was self-defense, he knew he would be punished for what he had done, and Ethan was prepared for that.
Chapter 50: Malfoy's Lingering Fear
"Ethan, you… you're okay!"
Penelope arrived with more than a dozen Ravenclaw students, and after seeing the scene before her, she didn't know what to say.
She had panicked too much and forgotten Ethan's strength. Now that she thought about it, she should have been worried about whether these Slytherins would be beaten to death.
The last class had just ended when she saw a flustered third-year Ravenclaw student.
As a prefect, Penelope naturally had to ask what was wrong. After learning that Ethan was being bullied by five older Slytherins, she brought the fifth-year students and any other Ravenclaw students they encountered along the way.
Unfortunately, this Ravenclaw student hadn't seen the end of the story and didn't know how things had developed. She still thought Ethan was being badly bullied.
When Ethan was surrounded, she and a companion had just come out of the Hogwarts Library.
Seeing Slytherin students bullying Ravenclaw students, she and her companion, both third-year students, didn't dare to step forward or watch the fun. One immediately went to find Professor Flitwick, and the other went to the Ravenclaw common room for help.
The one who went to the Ravenclaw common room ran into Penelope halfway, which is why they were able to arrive so quickly.
"Have you thought about the consequences of doing this?"
After a moment of silence, Penelope whispered in Ethan's ear.
In her opinion, he had gone too far. A lesson would have been enough, but now these people were all crippled. Fortunately, this was the wizarding world, and they could recover, otherwise the problem would be much bigger.
And Ethan had even snapped their wands! That was too brutal!
Breaking a wand could be considered a life-and-death feud. Of course, Penelope could see that these guys were all terrified to the bone and definitely wouldn't dare to seek revenge, but the impact was still not good.
More importantly, would Ethan be expelled for being so heavy-handed?
"What consequences? At worst, I'll just get detention!"
"These guys aren't dead. A few potions will fix them up. Isn't their head of house a potions master?"
Ethan said with a nonchalant expression.
Expelled?
Ethan was sure that was absolutely impossible!
First of all, they were the ones who started it, the ones who used their wands first.
And which head of house didn't protect their own? Professor Flitwick wouldn't stand idly by.
Even Dumbledore couldn't expel Ethan. Although Ethan wasn't Harry and didn't get that special treatment that was biased to the extreme, Ethan's talent was definitely worth Dumbledore's attention.
What would happen after Ethan was expelled?
A wizard expelled from school, with conflicts with some pure-bloods and half-bloods, and with explosive talent.
Unless you could kill him instantly, there would be endless trouble.
But judging from Ethan's current strength, it wouldn't be easy to kill Ethan if he left Hogwarts and wanted to hide.
He would definitely come into contact with dark wizards and stir up trouble. It was hard to say whether he would become the next Voldemort or something, but the wizarding world would definitely not be peaceful.
For this reason alone, Dumbledore would never expel Ethan unless he was brain-dead.
Keeping him in school was much more reassuring than letting him out.
"Are you sure you won't be expelled?"
Penelope was still a little worried. Hogwarts did have precedents for expulsion.
"Sure!"
Ethan nodded affirmatively.
Seeing this, Penelope didn't say anything more. Anyway, Ethan didn't need her to comfort him in this situation.
She was just a little worried about Ethan's mental state. Penelope, who often went to the Room of Requirement with Ethan, knew that Ethan was very skilled in using dark magic, and dark magic more or less carried negative emotions. She was afraid that Ethan would be affected.
Just then, another group of people arrived. They were attracted by the tragic howls just now and were from the library. There were students from all four houses.
"Ethan, what's going on?"
Cassandra and Hermione were also in this group, and they came to Ethan's side.
Although they didn't know the specific process, seeing Ethan like this, they knew he was the protagonist.
"These guys wanted to steal the recipe for Baruffio's Brain Elixir. I didn't give it to them, so they attacked, and I won."
"If Dumbledore makes things difficult for you, I'll talk to my father."
After saying that, Cassandra stepped back into the crowd.
Knowing the reason, that it was caused by these dregs who tarnished Slytherin's honor, she naturally wouldn't let Ethan become the target. He was the opponent she had chosen for the next seven years. What would she do if he was expelled?
Her father was the Head of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, and his words carried some weight in the British wizarding world. Even Dumbledore couldn't ignore him.
Hermione, on the other hand, was so anxious that she was about to cry. She was the kind of good student who strictly followed all the rules and regulations of Hogwarts, and she had never gone on a night tour with Harry and Ron, or rather, the two sides weren't very familiar at all.
After all, Hermione, who had been utterly defeated by Ethan in her best field, although she liked to compete for first place, didn't like to preach and be arrogant as much as in the original story, and could still add points to Gryffindor from time to time.
This allowed her to make a few friends among the Gryffindor girls, so naturally she wouldn't stick to the representatives of bad students (the main force of deducting points), Harry and Ron, just because of a chance encounter on the train.
As a result, Hermione, a good student who hadn't yet understood the true meaning of Hogwarts, had already concluded in her heart that Ethan was basically going to be expelled, no doubt about it!
