Hogwarts: The Cat Wizard of the Moving Castle

Chapter 318 Draco: I also want to be the protagonist

Late at night, in the underground corridor.

Bang-bang-

The robe turned into a long snake, constantly attacking the dummy in front of it fiercely, and so on.

And the dummy had already fallen to the ground and became fragmented.

"What are you doing?" A lazy voice sounded.

Draco turned his head and looked at Harry leaning against the door. He naturally relaxed his shoulders and neck and said calmly: "Nothing, just warming up."

"Warming up?" Harry looked at him and nodded: "Okay. You'd better not wake up tomorrow."

"I should say that." Draco turned around and continued to look at the dummy.

The candlelight swayed, stretching the shadow long. After a moment, he slightly side-eyed and asked in confusion: "Are you not leaving yet?"

"Leave." Harry shook his head and turned to leave.

He didn't understand what Draco wanted to do for the time being.

It didn't seem to be a big deal.

"Oh, by the way, the Quidditch season will start after Easter, and training will start after Easter next week." Harry reminded.

"Okay." Draco's voice came from the abandoned classroom.

After confirming that Draco was fine, Harry walked quickly towards the lounge. The new potion was about to be produced. He had to cool it down quickly and then seal the potion, otherwise the potency would be lost in a short time.

There were only a few days left until the end of the month.

This was not the first time for him to prepare potions for Professor Lupin, and he was already familiar with it.

In the corridor leading to the lounge, Harry bumped into three little wizards. These little guys were nearly a head shorter than him. Two men and one woman bumped into him in the dark and seemed to be frightened.

"Oh!" The little witch screamed, and her golden shoulder-length hair flew in the air because of jumping back, like a furry lion cat.

"Oh my God, Angelina, are you okay?" A boy asked hurriedly, then turned his head to look at Harry, his expression changed, and he lowered his head quickly.

"Good evening, Mr. Potter."

"Good evening." Harry nodded: "What are you doing? If you plan to go out at night, you'd better pay attention to safety."

The three children looked at each other, night out. Pay attention to safety?

They have never heard such a unique reminder.

"No, Mr. Potter, we are looking for Sir Barrow."

"Sir Barrow?" Harry frowned, and then reacted to a rumor about Sir Barrow's disappearance that he often heard in the past two days.

"So that's it." Harry nodded, and then walked towards the lounge.

"Then you can go to rest, because Sir Barrow is dead."

One of the little wizards laughed: "Uh, Mr. Potter, we know that Sir Barrow is dead, he has died a long time ago, right?"

"I mean, he has dissipated, and the ghost form no longer exists."

"What?" The little witch looked at Harry in surprise.

"Why, Mr. Potter."

"Because the person he loves has also left, he has no reason to stay in this world." Harry said with a very strange look.

I think the three guys should think of Sir Barrow as some kind of infatuated nobleman with a distinguished family background, and sigh at his unswerving love.

If he didn't kill the person he loved, then this would be true.

The three little guys looked at each other, and the little witch among them did. Showed a smile mixed with emotion.

"Mr. Potter, why don't we see you in the lounge so often?" A little wizard asked with courage.

He found that Mr. Potter was not as scary as those seniors said.

"I went out early." Harry responded: "As for the evening, I think you also saw it."

"Is it morning exercise?" The little witch asked curiously.

"Yeah." Harry nodded.

"You know?" The two little wizards looked at the little witch in surprise.

"Astoria told me." The little witch said shyly: "She said that Mr. Potter and Mr. Draco and others would get up early every day, exercise and start studying."

"It's amazing." A little wizard exclaimed in an unbelievable tone.

"You can too." Harry said, "Of course, the premise is - get a good sleep."

He didn't want to say too much, just deal with it.

"By the way, Mr. Potter." A little wizard suddenly called Harry who was about to walk into the dormitory corridor.

"That. I heard something this afternoon."

"What?" Harry turned his head to look at him.

After a moment, after listening to the little wizard's story, Harry nodded and turned to walk into the dormitory.

"Mr. Potter, don't you care?" The little wizard asked hurriedly, "You and Mr. Malfoy are good friends, right?"

"Yes." Harry responded, walked into the dormitory and closed the door.

Only three little wizards were left looking at each other

The next day, near noon.

After the first class in the morning, they had no classes. Taking advantage of this time to eat, they obviously relaxed a lot. There were not many people in the hall, and it seemed very quiet, not as noisy as at noon.

Harry looked at Draco who was mashing sausages with a fork, and couldn't help but speak.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Draco shook his head.

"You're not thinking that it would be great if you could get better grades," Harry couldn't help but speak.

"No." Draco shook his head: "This result is enough for those losers to look up to, as for what they said."

"No impact?" Harry asked.

"No impact." Draco shook his head with gritted teeth: "Whatever they say."

"That's good." Harry nodded, always feeling something was wrong.

Just thinking about it, Pansy walked over quickly and came to Draco's side.

"Draco, that."

"Go ahead." Draco wiped his mouth with a handkerchief.

"Astoria quarreled with two seniors in the lounge, just because of your that."

"Okay." Draco stood up, his face was full of anger that could not be concealed.

Harry sighed helplessly and stood up.

At the same time, the bell rang.

On the way, the crowd rushing out of the underground potion classroom crossed with the two people, and the dense flow of people in the narrow corridor inevitably bumped the two people crooked.

Draco finally couldn't help it and spoke slowly.

"Scarhead, I don't understand why."

"Why?"

"I clearly got the results, why are they so...critical." Draco let out a long breath.

"Is this the reason for your distress?" Harry looked at him in surprise, then sighed: "People are like this."

"People are like this?" Draco looked at Harry: "Is this what Professor Jones said again?"

Harry nodded, then shook his head.

"He just warned me not to fall into the herd mentality, which would make me do a lot of stupid things against my will. Maybe this is the case now."

"Maybe." Draco nodded, and was silent for a moment, then said: "I can't accept it."

"Accept what?"

"I want to tell myself that the reason you or Longbottom are so good is because you have a good teacher, and you have excellent resources that I can't reach." Draco looked at the candlelight on both sides of the corridor.

"But Hermione Granger told me with facts that the amount of resources is not an excuse."

"So - I can't accept it."

"Facing Weasley's condescending attitude, I kept questioning myself in my mind at this time."

As he said, he turned his head and looked at Harry.

"If I were still the same as before, maybe I wouldn't care.

But now I dare to pat my chest and guarantee that I have put most of my thoughts on magic. But even so, I still can't surpass you.

I'm even a little scared, Harry, I might be surpassed by Weasley next year."

"If I surpass, I surpass." Harry said.

"That's not the case!" Draco interrupted him, panting shortly.

"You can't accept failure anymore." Harry looked at him.

"That's right." Draco nodded: "I want to find a way to break through, I'm going crazy. I can't accept that I'm just a [person being led], I can't accept that I'm just a vassal. You know, I always want to be a [leader]."

"I understand you." Harry nodded seriously.

"Sorry." Draco exhaled heavily and looked at the floor.

"I don't mean to say that you or anyone else makes me feel distressed or puts pressure on me.

I want to break through, I want to be the protagonist, I want to. But I can't find it, I can't find a way to break the deadlock. I..."

"Draco!" Harry interrupted him: "Don't think about it. Dumbledore had correspondence with Nicolas Flamel before graduation, and even became friends. If you want to compare, I think no one can compare to his achievements. There is no point in comparing with others."

Draco smiled bitterly, repeated the password, and then looked at Harry.

"Leave this kind of chicken soup to the idiots in Hufflepuff. I-Draco Malfoy, a real Slytherin, only look at the results!"

'I know.' Harry patted his head helplessly.

The next moment, before he could react, Draco ran towards the corridor.

"It's finally much better now that I've said it." He muttered.

At the same time, in the corridor.

Now in the lounge, there are only first and third graders, as well as some students in the sixth and seventh grades who have no classes.

Obviously, when other sixth and seventh graders have their own complicated courses, choose to take their own elective courses or go to the library, the group of fools who stay here account for a much higher proportion.

"Little girl, I advise you not to meddle in other people's business." A big boy said, "And we are just stating the facts."

"If you think you can do it, go get the grades for Slytherin yourself, instead of shouting here!"

Get the grades. Do you really think that Percy Weasley, who got twelve certificates, is a nerd?

You know, the madman who wants to achieve an O in all subjects has been forcing himself to study in courses like Defense Against the Dark Arts.

But they won't say such things here.

After all, questioning others is much easier than asking yourself.

"Get lost." The boy said, pushing Astoria to the ground: "What's going on here has nothing to do with you."

The next moment, a figure flew out from the corridor, grabbed the girl who was about to fall, and floated up. Several long black curtains fell from the ceiling.

"If you think I have a problem, I'll give you a chance to challenge me."

"Now, I'll give you three seconds to prepare."
