Chapter 83: The Fall of the Resurrection Stone

Because it wasn't curfew time yet, there were still many students in the corridors of the castle.

They all cast strange glances at Snape and Kyle.

It's just that because of the deterrence of the old bat, no melon-eating crowd dared to gather around to watch the show.

Under the low air pressure surrounding Snape, they voluntarily retreated.

Soon only Kyle and Snape were left in the corridor.

Snape propped himself up with his hands on his knees, gasping for breath.

How can this bear child run like this?

Kyle staggered over and stopped in front of Snape.

"Professor, your physical quality is not good. If you don't have a strong body, how can you dedicate yourself to the sacred position of teaching and educating people?"

Snape glared at Kyle, jumping up to grab him by the collar.

However, Kyle just turned around to avoid Snape's vicious dog.

Kyle smiled brightly when he saw that Snape stumbled under his feet and almost fell into a dog's feces because of his pounce.

Snape took out a bottle of potion from his bosom with a gloomy expression, the color of which was like molten gold.

"I'll exchange it with you for the Fuling Elixir."

Fuling Potion is one of the most peculiar potions. It has another nickname, called Luck Potion, which will bring good luck to the user.

In fact, the so-called "good luck" brought about by Fuling is mainly to improve the ability of the user in various aspects, such as social ability, magic ability, reaction ability, etc., to the extreme.

That's why Fuling agent makes people feel that everything goes well.

Its preparation process is extremely complicated, and it takes half a year, and there are countless rare potion materials used.

Generally speaking, in the potion market, Fuling potions are priceless.

Although the vial in Snape's hand was only a small mouthful, if it leaked out to the black market, it would cost thousands of Galleons at least.

"Don't," Kyle's face didn't even show a heartbeat, "I have this stuff, it's fine to drink it as mineral water."

Snape's face twitched fiercely, and he remembered Kyle's background - the son of Grindelwald.

Grindelwald escaped from Nurmengard, since Kyle was taken away in Hogsmeade village, and Dumbledore returned to Hogwarts with a gloomy face, several of their well-informed professors had a vague idea in their hearts. There is speculation.

Some time ago on Christmas, the large box of potion materials that Kyle sent him was worth nearly two thousand Galleons at least.

If this is put on an ordinary wizard, it is almost equivalent to his two years' salary.

Not to mention that some of these materials are rarities that are extremely hard to come by on the market.

And Kyle, a big dog owner, didn't even blink when he brought gifts.

"What do you want?" Snape frowned tightly.

"Didn't I say that I want to learn Potions?" Kyle scratched his ears.

"I can answer..."

Kyle interrupted him, "I don't want to learn anymore."

Snape's cheeks twitched violently, how could there be such an irritating child.

Looking at Snape who could explode with anger at any time, Kyle decided not to tease the poor mother and fetus.

"In addition to learning potions, plus one more condition, I will make a deal with you."

"What conditions?" Snape's eyes were about to eat people.

Kyle rubbed his chin, "The high-level potion I need to use, you have to help me make it before I can't make it myself."

"Only five times."

Kyle turned his head and left.

"ten times!"

Kyle kept walking.

"Okay! I promise!"

Kyle turned around with a smile, "Deal."

On the surface, there was no expression, but in fact Snape roared inwardly: Can't you make a good bargain when I make a bid! What's the matter with flipping the table without saying a word!

……

A quarter of an hour later, in Snape's office.

Snape signed his name on a roll of quaint parchment.

Feeling the magical effect of the contract, Snape stared at Kyle with a gloomy expression, "Now we can talk."

As Kyle put away the parchment contract, he said slowly, "O Si, have you heard of the legend of the three brothers?"

Snape sneered, "You don't mean the resurrection stone in the Three Hallows, right? That's just a story."

"That's not just a story," Kyle raised his index finger and shook it. "The old wand, one of the Three Hallows, is now in my father's hands."

The sarcastic smile on Snape's face disappeared instantly.

"This is what I personally heard from Father Albus," Kyle spread his hands, "As a master of Occlumency, you should be able to tell whether I lied or not."

Snape hesitated.

Occlumency and Legilimency, the shield and spear, have always been complementary to each other.

He is proficient in Occlumency, and even if he does not deliberately study it, his attainment in Legilimency will not be too low.

So, even if he didn't take the initiative to spy on Kyle's thoughts, he could still judge that what Kyle said was the truth.

So, does the resurrection stone really exist?

"Do you know where the resurrection stone is?"

"Sorry, I don't know."

Snape's face turned black in a flash, and he grabbed Kyle's collar fiercely, "Are you kidding me?"

Kyle snapped Snape's hand open, "But I can roughly guess where it is?"

"Where?" The fire of hope that Snape had just extinguished rekindled.

"The earliest owner of the Resurrection Stone was the second of the three Peverell brothers, Cadmus..."

Snape interrupted Kyle impatiently, "I already knew about this! Let me tell you the point!"

Kyle was not annoyed, and continued: "If you go to the history of magic, you will find that there are several families in the magic world that have bloodlines, which can be traced back to Cadmus."

"Which families?"

"Malfoy, Black, Lestrange, Potter, and..." Kelton paused, and slowly spit out the last name: "Gaunt."

Snape's pupils shrank suddenly.

Damn it! He should have thought of that!

The Gaunt family once had a famous wizard named Marvolo Gaunt.

His daughter, Merope Gaunt, married a Muggle named Riddle and gave birth to a child named Tom Riddle.

If the letters that make up Tom Marvolo Riddle's name are taken apart and rearranged in a certain order, one sentence can be spelled out:

"IamLordVoldemort (I am Lord Voldemort~www.NovelMTL.com~ As a former Death Eater, more than once, Snape saw a ring inlaid with a black prismatic stone in Voldemort's hand.

It was only now that he realized that the stone inlaid on the ring that Voldemort was wearing was what Kyle called the resurrection stone.

Snape stood up without a word and walked out of the office.

"Professor Snape, where are you going?"

"Looking for the Resurrection Stone." Snape didn't look back.

"But do you know where to look?"

Snape's footsteps stopped abruptly. He really didn't know where to look. He was momentarily carried away by the news of the resurrection stone.

He searched his memory carefully, hoping to get some clues about the resurrection stone.

He rummaged through some dusty memories, and Snape frowned, focusing all his attention on details that he hadn't paid attention to.

But he couldn't remember the day when the ring on Voldemort's hand disappeared from his hand, and where Voldemort went before the ring disappeared.

Snape's brain calmed down a little, he took a deep breath and turned back to his desk.

"Professor, when will we start studying potions?" Kyle asked while sitting on the chair with his legs crossed, raising his head to look at Snape.

Looking at Kyle's condescending appearance, Snape's face was as black as a rag, "Come to my office at eight o'clock tomorrow night."

"Okay, then, professor, goodbye."

With a resurrection stone whose whereabouts are unknown, in exchange for what he wanted, Kyle stood up satisfied, turned and left the gloomy office.
