Hogwarts: I can inherit the legacy of the dead
Chapter 7 Asking for Advice
The train was moving steadily.
A gray mouse was crawling on Ron Weasley's body, making rustling sounds from time to time.
Ron introduced the origin of this pet mouse to Meka and Harry, and reached out to tease it from time to time.
The few people chatted for a while and just stopped.
Someone happened to pull a snack cart outside the compartment.
Harry heard the salesman's shouting and his eyes lit up.
"How about some snacks?"
"Good idea."
Ron said weakly: "It's a pity that I don't have money."
"I have."
Harry said, looking at Meka Anders as if asking.
"Snacks?"
Meka smiled and nodded.
He was quite interested in the snacks in this magical world.
Harry bought a bunch of snacks, and Meka also paid some money and randomly selected a few snacks that looked good.
Several people enjoyed them around the small table.
Meka took one of the colorful Bibi Multi-Flavor Beans and put it in his mouth.
This thing tastes like chocolate beans, but when the thin outer shell breaks, it's like a spring is opened.
A minty fragrance gushed out like a fountain, refreshing.
"Mint flavor."
Meka raised his eyebrows: "Not bad."
Ron chewed the licorice candy and showed them how to turn the fur of a gray mouse yellow in his spare time.
He adjusted his collar and showed a smug look on his face.
"Watch it, you two, this will be the most exciting moment you spend in the car."
Ron coughed and pointed his wand at the mouse in his arms.
"Sunshine, daisies, butter fragrance."
This was the spell from Ron's mouth.
Meka saw that Ron's wand seemed to be flickering.
But suddenly, as if it was short-circuited, a burnt smell quietly spread in the compartment, but it quickly dissipated.
The pet mouse began to shiver when it was touched by the wand.
It showed a horrified look, and jumped from Ron to the table with a puff. Its hair stood up and it looked terrified.
Other than that, nothing happened.
"Uh."
Harry, who had just sat upright, shrugged silently.
Ron put away his wand, touched his face, and forced a laugh.
"Something unexpected happened."
Interesting.
Maeka watched with great interest.
This magic obviously failed, but the light on the wand and the smell that spread silently did happen.
Generated out of thin air, full of magic.
"Sure enough." Maeka's eyes flashed with golden runes, and he saw that Ron's talent was very ordinary.
"Spiritual level: Level 6."
"Alas."
At this time, a sigh came from the door of the compartment.
It seemed that someone happened to see Ron's magic and felt it was unbearable to watch.
Maeka turned his head and looked.
A girl's face was pressed against the glass.
She was wearing a wizard's costume with a gray wool sweater underneath.
Long, slightly curly brown hair draped over her shoulders, her eyes were large and spirited, like natural jade.
The girl pushed open the door of the compartment and looked at Ron.
"Sunshine, daisies, buttery fragrance?"
She repeated Ron's spell and frowned:
"Are you sure this is magic?"
"Uh..."
Ron spread his hands, glanced at Harry and Maeka, and replied uncertainly: "What else?"
"I do know a little bit about magic."
The girl walked to Harry's opposite side and sat down.
She took out her wand and pointed it at Harry's glasses.
Her tone was excited, as if she was reciting the most inspiring modern poem:
"Recalus, Repelo, repair quickly."
This is the repair spell in the Standard Spells.
Maeka looked at it carefully.
A white light flashed on the wand.
It was a ball of intertwined silk threads, like a moving ball of thread, emitting a faint light, and it immediately sank into Harry's broken glasses.
The obvious broken marks on the lens turned from dark to light and gradually disappeared in an instant.
The white mist floated up from the lens and dissipated, as if the broken marks turned into mist and drifted away.
The girl's performance was very calm, as if she could do it easily.
From the scene in front of her, this girl is also a talented wizard, and she has a good grasp of magic-related knowledge.
Meka Anders squinted unconsciously.
He thought of the old man Domon's last wish.
"Maybe I can ask her about potions."
When all this was over, Harry showed a surprised look.
"This..."
His eyes were too close and he saw it clearly.
But he still took off his glasses in disbelief and wiped the right lens.
It was smooth as new.
Ron looked at him and opened his mouth while chewing snacks.
Obviously, she was also surprised by this scene.
"This is the effect of the repair spell."
The girl introduced.
She looked proud, although it can be seen that she has tried her best to restrain herself.
But she is only eleven years old after all.
The girl smiled and said:
"Sorry, I forgot to say that my name is Hermione Granger, and I am a freshman like you."
"Oh!"
She thought of something again, and was a little annoyed, and couldn't help but reach out and knock on her head.
"I almost forgot the main thing."
"I came to help someone find a toad, have you seen it?"
...
The people in the compartment introduced themselves to each other, and they got to know each other.
But the toad was still not found.
Hermione Granger said she had to go out and look for it again, and ran out of the compartment, and came back soon.
She had a droopy face, and her face was not very happy.
Meka saw her look and smiled: "Didn't find it?"
"Yeah."
Hermione sighed: "Forget it, I've looked in several compartments, but I can't find it. Let's take a break."
She also brought back a few books this time, and as soon as she sat on the stool, she opened the book to read.
Ron looked at it in surprise, and while eating snacks, he muttered:
"What's so good about the book."
Hermione seemed to hear it, rolled her eyes at him, didn't pay much attention, and turned another page.
Meka saw the title of the book she was reading, "A Century of Hogwarts History".
He asked casually:
"Do you like reading? I see you have a lot of books. You seem to be a learned person."
Hermione looked up and saw him asking questions. It seemed that the girl's vanity was acting up. She smiled and said modestly:
"It's okay. I just read more than my peers. But I do have a lot of books at home. I have three bookcases."
"Of course, some are my father's books. He is a doctor and he always reads."
"Oh? Three bookcases?" Meka was surprised: "It seems that I have a good taste. I wonder what books you read? About potions?"
Hermione looked surprised:
"You like potions too? I always find the knowledge of potions fascinating, just like the history books I read before, full of rich connotations and fun."
"I'm quite interested in potions."
Meka smiled and nodded,
"I've heard that there is a magical potion in the magic world that can make the person who drinks it have good luck and everything will go smoothly."
"Ever since I heard about this potion, I feel that potions are indeed magical."
Hermione looked thoughtful when she heard this.
"Potion that makes luck better?"
"I remember that in the tutorial book of potions, "Thousands of Herbs", there is a potion called "Lucky Potion" in the notes of the quicksand grass stems. It has another name, called the luck potion."
Quicksand grass stems?
There is indeed such a herb in the incomplete formula of old man Domon.
Meka's eyes lit up: "Do you know its specific formula?"
"Formula?"
Hermione shook her head, picked up the book in her hand, and said:
"This book "Hogwarts' Centennial History" also mentions Felix Felix, and its formula is recorded in the "Potion Book" written by Zygmunt Budge."
"This is a textbook for seniors, and we can't read it yet."
"Is that so?" Meka nodded with some disappointment.
Hermione looked at him, frowned, thought about it, and advised:
"This potion may not be as good as you think."
"Its own side effects are also very large, which will make people very unlucky in the next period of time. This kind of bad luck has no limit, and some people have died because of it."
"This may be the reason why the school does not allow lower grade students to contact it."
"Died because of it?" Meka seemed to wake up from a dream, and thanked: "Thank you, Hermione."
Meka stopped talking and lowered his head in thought.
He originally planned to get a breakthrough from Hermione, but unfortunately, Hermione did not get the formula of Felix Felix.
But there were also gains.
At least we know that the formula of old man Domon's luck potion has something in common with the formula of the Felicity Potion, and contains the same herbs.
This further proves that the two may be the same thing.
"Textbooks for senior grades?"
Meka glanced at Ron who was chewing a licorice lollipop, and had an idea in his mind.
Doesn't Ron have a brother studying at Hogwarts?
Isn't that the best breakthrough?
