Hogwarts: I am Voldemort
Chapter 89 Repairing the Vanishing Cabinet
Percy, who was taught a lesson by the principal and professor, seemed to have learned something from them.
Voldemort himself was excited about the principal's decision - the cooperation between the two gave him the illusion that the black and white wizards and kings were invincible together.
Everything was wonderful until Professor McGonagall arrived.
But when the dean roared at several people like a lioness, everyone including the principal lowered their heads and said nothing - Percy thought that things were going to change, but they didn't.
After scolding her enough, McGonagall took Percy away angrily before she left because she needed to write an application with him...
"Be more honest lately, Quirrell. McGonagall is a bit grumpy because of that incident." Dumbledore reminded in a low voice.
"I understand, Headmaster, I will keep an eye on Snape." Voldemort immediately expressed his loyalty.
That was the end of the story, but there were still some complications - the spectacle needed to be protected so that students wouldn't get involved.
After experiencing this incident, Voldemort became honest and put more experience into Christmas decorations.
As if to please Professor McGonagall, he used a lot of red and gold colors that represented the Lion's Court in the decoration, but this did not bring any benefit.
"Quillo, there are too few blue and bronze colors. Ravenclaw students need to see them at Christmas." Dean Flitwick kindly reminded.
"The corridors below need more yellow and iron, Hufflepuff needs them." Headmaster Sprout made it clear.
Snape:~~:-(
There was no other way, so Voldemort could only reorganize the color selection, which delayed him for several days, and the large decorations such as Christmas trees and snowmen had not yet been decorated.
When Hagrid and Flitwick asked him about the time it would take to arrange these large pieces, he simply said he would wait until the colors were ready.
It wasn't until this day, when he woke up in the morning and clicked on the Marauder's Map as usual, that he found that Old Bee was not there, that he had the idea to decorate something big.
But he still did not act rashly. Instead, he chose to wait patiently and confirm again and again. After no old bees were seen on the map until noon, he finally took action.
"This cabinet doesn't look good. There needs to be a snowman on the second floor. Hagrid, come and move it." Voldemort pointed to a cabinet on the second floor and said impatiently.
"Where to move?" Hagrid asked.
"Third floor... no, let's go to the fourth floor. There is a Christmas tree on the third floor." Voldemort said.
"But the snowman needs to be placed on the fourth floor, and there is no room left on the drawing." Hagrid looked at the drawing and said with a frown.
"There is room on the seventh floor, Professor." Hermione said loudly, "Let's put it on the seventh floor first."
Voldemort followed suit and asked Hagrid to move things while he took Hermione to decorate the second floor.
When they arrived at the seventh floor, Hermione found that the cabinet was a bit awkward - of course it was awkward, surrounded by colors, and it became a visual nuisance.
In order to achieve this effect, Voldemort put a lot of thought into it.
"Put it on the eighth floor. Fewer people go there." Hermione said.
"Excuse me, Hagrid." Voldemort looked a little impatient, as if he was annoyed by this unnecessary cabinet.
"Okay, Quirrell, you go here first, don't be angry about a cabinet." Hagrid said optimistically, not forgetting to comfort Voldemort.
"I really don't know what the use of this crap is." Voldemort complained, and then started busy work again.
When the seventh floor was decorated and Hagrid and Hermione were preparing to go up to the eighth floor, Voldemort spoke again.
"It's time for class. We'll set up the rest after dinner. We're fast enough."
Naturally, Hermione and Hagrid would not refuse, so the three of them began to go downstairs. After returning to the third floor, Voldemort returned to the eighth floor after checking the Marauder's Map.
Voldemort jumps sideways in front of a tapestry hanging with a troll club beating Barnabas foolishly.
"A place to hide things... a place to hide things... a place to hide things..."
Not long after, a door opened, and Voldemort threw the disappearing cabinet in without saying a word, and then left quickly - his steps were quite light.
In the evening, the three of them went to the eighth floor to set up again, and happened to meet Dumbledore returning.
"It's beautiful, Quirrell, you did a good job." Dumbledore said before entering the principal's office.
"It's all due to Hermione and Hagrid. I think they should be awarded medals." Voldemort said jokingly.
"I will consider it seriously." Dumbledore said and walked into the principal's office.
Hermione and Hagrid were so excited to receive the praise that they completely forgot that the cabinet they had thrown here was missing.
The three of them arranged the eighth floor, then looked back down the stairs. After finding no problems, they dispersed on the spot - Hagrid invited Voldemort to drink in the evening, but Voldemort refused.
After finishing the evening class with satisfaction, Voldemort couldn't wait to take out the Marauder's Map - Lao Deng went to the jungle again.
He walked up the path to the eighth floor, entered the Room of Requirement, and took out tools to repair the vanishing cabinet.
In his opinion, this was a difficult task, but when he actually got started, he suddenly realized that his judgment was wrong.
The disappearing cabinet is almost intact.
"No..."
Voldemort couldn't believe it. According to the information provided by Borgin, he checked it many times and found that there was indeed only one small problem.
"Is there something wrong with Draco's IQ?"
With deep doubts, Voldemort repaired the Vanishing Cabinet, but before using it, he finally found an excuse for Draco's IQ - and perhaps the real reason.
The Vanishing Cabinet did break before, but it was not serious, but because no one knew about it or could repair it, it lay dormant in Hogwarts for many years.
And when Draco repaired it - before that, Peeves had thrown this cabinet from the second floor. Maybe that time the Vanishing Cabinet was even more damaged.
"Anyway, it's ready for use now, so..."
Voldemort looked at the Ravenclaw crown not far away, with hesitation on his expression - because he misjudged the dilapidated condition of the Vanishing Cabinet, which led to him not being prepared.
"Although the process of moving the box is very cautious, you still have to be careful. After all, it is a Horcrux and it needs to be moved as soon as possible..."
Voldemort still cares very much about his Horcruxes, especially the remnant of the two souls.
Therefore, Voldemort, who had been cautious since entering Hogwarts, decided to send away the crown overnight.
"Spare wand, compound potion, bag with crown..."
Voldemort quickly calculated, and then once again confirmed that Old Deng had not returned from the jungle, he resolutely returned to the office, ready to steal... and prepare for action.
It has to be said that Dumbledore put too much pressure on him.
When walking back and forth in the corridor on the eighth floor, he frequently looked at the principal's office, and even prepared several reasons to face Dumbledore who might appear at any time.
Fortunately, until he stepped into the disappearing cabinet, Lao Deng did not appear.
The feeling of being a thief is really...exciting! ! !
