Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 294 Gift from the Black Family

"Principal Black, long time no see."

Voldemort bowed slightly to the portrait of Phineas Black and said.

"Voldemort, ha, Dumbledore is plotting against you, right in his office." Principal Black with a goatee said with a smile.

The Principal Black in this portrait is completely different from the drowsy person in the principal's office.

He was wearing a wizard robe with Slytherin characteristics. He looked quite energetic and spoke very powerfully.

"We plot against each other, Headmaster, this is also the purpose of my visit this time." Voldemort said with a smile, and found a seat to sit down.

"You're ready to make a comeback, right?" Principal Black said excitedly, "Killing more Muggles and Mudbloods?"

"Uh... Principal, I don't think we need to talk about murder right from the start." Voldemort said with a bitter smile.

"Then let's talk about Sirius." Principal Black became excited, "Oh my God, your move is so powerful."

Voldemort was confused, but still kept a smile on his face.

Principal Black said excitedly: "I didn't expect that he was the undercover agent you placed in Gryffindor. This not only allows the bloodline of our Black family to continue, but also allows the spirit of the Black family to be passed on."

"He killed a whole street of Muggles at once, and he escaped from Azkaban in the past two days with his cousin."

The smile on Voldemort's face froze.

He wanted to say I didn't, but now was not the time.

"Did he come with you?"

Principal Black said, trying to look towards the stairs in the portrait.

"No, Principal Black. He has more important tasks and is not suitable to show up at the moment."

Voldemort followed the other person's words and said, "Just like me, I came here secretly."

"Be cautious. Dumbledore has made a lot of arrangements. You have to be careful, as well as Sirius."

Principal Black nodded in agreement, and then asked, "Voldemort, do you come here because you want me to help you?"

"Yes, Headmaster Black," Voldemort said.

"Tell me what you think first, Voldemort, but I'm not sure I can do it."

Principal Black said with some frustration, "You know, when we sign our name on the Hogwarts Principal's appointment letter, many things must be restricted. This is also the reason why many purebloods are unwilling to serve as principal."

Voldemort nodded in understanding, but in fact he didn't know the details.

Most of the family histories of those pure-blood families record the restrictions mentioned by Principal Black.

Because among those families, even if no one has ever served as a principal, most of them have been invited and have seen that part.

But Voldemort had no such chance.

Although many pureblood families opened their family libraries to him, family history was never among them.

"I need to know the principal's itinerary, the more detailed the better." Voldemort stated his purpose.

Principal Black frowned, obviously this was a very troublesome matter.

"In fact, the contract requires us to help the current principal. Even as a portrait, I am bound by that contract."

"Is there no loophole?" Voldemort asked.

"There are some special circumstances that will be excluded, such as those involving one's own family interests or bloodline..."

Principal Black stopped, looked at Voldemort and said, "Perhaps I can tell you that Dumbledore's information about Sirius' pursuit is my bloodline after all."

Voldemort nodded and said: "Thank you very much. I am also very afraid that Sirius has exposed his identity - he is currently performing a very secret mission."

Once a lie appears, it must continue, and Voldemort doesn't see anything wrong with this.

He can deceive a living person, let alone a portrait.

"No problem. If there is any useful information, I will ask Kreacher to inform you." Principal Black said, "Where is he going to find you?"

"Malfoy Manor, Bella and I are both there." Voldemort said and stood up, ready to leave.

"Hold on."

Principal Black suddenly stopped him, and Voldemort looked at him in confusion.

"Regarding Sirius Black, Voldemort, you know that he is not young anymore, but his marriage has not been settled yet. Can you help me persuade him to get married quickly and continue the bloodline of the Black family?"

Principal Black looked a little embarrassed when he said this.

Perhaps he also felt that this request was a bit excessive, but for the sake of the blood of the Black family, he could only say this while licking his old face.

"I will convince him immediately after this mission is over."

Voldemort said very solemnly, and this was what he really meant, "I think you can hear the good news next year at the latest."

"Thank you so much, Voldemort, you will be the Black family's forever friend." Principal Black said loudly.

"That's my honor." Voldemort bowed slightly and said politely.

"The Black family must be grateful for this, wait a minute, Voldemort."

After Principal Black finished speaking, before Voldemort could say anything—he really had no intention of refusing—the person disappeared from the portrait.

Not long after, he appeared in the portrait again.

"Orburga will give you a gift, Voldemort. This is the friendship of the Black family. Please don't refuse." Principal Black said.

"I can only express my gratitude for this, Principal Black. I am looking forward to this gift." Voldemort said in compliance with the other party.

Then he said goodbye and prepared to turn around and leave.

"Be careful Snape."

Before Voldemort walked down the stairs, Principal Black suddenly said.

"Did he surrender to Dumbledore?" Voldemort stopped and asked.

"No, Voldemort, if it's about Dumbledore, I can't tell you."

Principal Black said seriously, "But I think he has been a little abnormal recently, ever since he talked to Dumbledore about that child."

"unusual?"

Voldemort murmured these words to the other party, but Principal Black just nodded and did not say anything more specific.

Perhaps, the other party just had such a vague feeling and couldn't explain why, so it ended abruptly.

"Thank you, Principal Black, this means a lot to me."

Voldemort thanked him again and walked downstairs.

Orburga tried to invite him to stay at the villa for dinner, but Voldemort refused.

Apart from portraits and a house elf, there are no real wizards here, so it would be a bit weird to stay here to eat.

Moreover, he doesn't like socializing.

However, Voldemort liked the gift given to him by Orburga, which pointed out the location of the secret compartment:

The Black family's grimoire.

Just by looking at the name, you know that the content inside is destined to be extraordinary.

You know, this is the first magic book he has obtained that belongs to a family secret.

It seems that the Black family really cares about their bloodline.

But think about it, this is not surprising.

After all, there was only one Sirius left.

If we don't take it seriously anymore, the male branch of the Black family will really be cut off.
