Hogwarts: I am Voldemort
Chapter 253 Seeking common ground while reserving differences
A person’s character should be looked at in detail.
When Barty Crouch escaped from confinement and settled the dispute, the first thing he did was to tidy up his clothes.
His movements were meticulous, from collar to cuffs, from hairstyle to trousers, there was no omission.
After he finished all this, he seemed to have settled into his accustomed rhythm.
He sat down in the center of his sofa.
"I'm curious, Mr. You-Know-Who."
He lowered his voice, as if this was the only way to match his meticulous temperament and his status as the master of the Crouch family castle.
"Why don't you sit in this main position? As far as I know, you have always been very strong."
"Because I choose to respect you, Mr. Crouch."
Voldemort put his elbows on the sofa and leaned forward slightly. "When I go to a place, I usually choose to respect the owner there. This has nothing to do with anything else, it is just polite."
"Then how are you going to deal with me?"
Crouch asked loudly and glanced at his son, "Take my child away from me? Kill me to prevent me from reporting things related to you to Fudge? Or imprison me?"
Voldemort turned to look at Little Crowe, and he twisted his brows with a strange expression of disgust.
"Look what your father said?"
His voice was full of sarcasm, and then he turned to look at Crouch and said in a deep voice, "You actually suggested that I kill my most loyal and wise child's father in front of his own hands. This is what a person can say. What?"
Crouch twisted his body uncomfortably, causing his tie to become slightly out of shape.
"Or do you have a better proposal?" Crouch asked.
"In fact, we have no choice."
Voldemort stood up and rubbed the head of little Barty who insisted on standing behind him.
"We are involved together because of him, and we are against each other because we may have different beliefs. It seems that there are many choices between us, but it seems."
"I don't mind breaking up with him, Dark Lord."
Little Barty stood up and spoke, bowing slightly to Voldemort.
Crouch stared at his son angrily, but unfortunately he didn't even look at himself.
There is no place to vent his anger, but at home.
Mr. Crouch was surprisingly angry and aggrieved.
"I don't allow you to say such stupid things anymore, little Barty. If he was an irresponsible father, and he had abandoned you or abused you, I would support you in doing so, but he didn't."
Voldemort looked at Barty Jr. with accusation in his eyes.
"He is strict with himself, cares about his family, and shows off your achievements, but he doesn't dare to let you see a trace of pride, just because he wants you to become a better person."
"Snapped."
Voldemort's slap fell on little Barty's shoulder.
"My silly boy, what blinded you?"
Little Barty twisted his body nervously, and his movements were exactly the same as Crouch's just now.
"Look, even your little moves are exactly the same."
After Voldemort pointed this out, he said, "My child, not everyone has to love in the same way, and those who love you in different ways are not worthy of your love, feelings, and hugs."
He patted Barty Jr. on the shoulder twice more and said no more on this topic.
The Dark Lord is not a family mediator. A few words are enough, and more is meaningless.
"We all value him and that's what we have to stick to."
Voldemort sat close to Crouch, "And I admire you, even though you have publicly cursed me."
Crouch leaned to the side, as if to get further away from Voldemort.
"What you did was wrong and evil," he said.
"I admit."
Voldemort stood up again, and his wizard robes made a "whoosh" sound.
"I have been infinitely close to death for this. I have been wandering in the black forest for ten years. I have lost my body and some of my loyal friends. This is the punishment of fate. However..."
When Voldemort turned to look at Crouch again, his eyes were filled with ferocity.
"There are still people who blame me and refuse to forgive me, but I want to say that those people are looking for death."
The sound of "da da da" sounded, and everyone turned their heads to see it was Twinkle.
She was so frightened that her teeth chattered in the corner, which made everyone gulp and walk away from the heavy fear created by Voldemort.
"I do not care."
Voldemort looked away from Winky.
"I don't care about those who hate me, I don't care about those who hate me, and I also don't care about those who work behind my back."
"The person I care about is Barty Crouch, he is your son, the person I care about is Bellatrix Lestrange, she is in Azkaban, and I need them to live enough OK, but it takes time.”
"I'm going to be patient, I'm going to suppress my anger, I'm going to swing my wand less often."
His voice dropped, and he stared at Crouch.
The spacious hall was silent, everyone was waiting, waiting for the Dark Lord to erupt.
"Because I'm afraid that I won't be able to bear it and kill you damn idiots."
Voldemort roared and drew out his staff, shooting a green light at Crouch.
"ah."
Crouch, who was hit by the Cruciatus Curse, screamed in pain, his whole body twisted in the center of the sofa in his castle.
There is the place that belongs to the owner of this castle.
"Whoosh."
The green light disappeared and Voldemort felt comfortable.
"We can talk now, Mr. Crouch, but first of all, please remember not to talk to me in that weird way again. If you have something to say, if you want to be cursed, please just say it."
Voldemort sat on the chair again, still leaning on the armrest with one hand.
It's like nothing happened just now.
Lucius swallowed nervously. He felt that although the Dark Lord had changed, he had not changed.
Old Nott, on the other hand, was watching everything as if he were watching a joke, his eyes full of excitement.
This was the Dark Lord he was familiar with.
Powerful, sane, and evil.
To become his enemy, you must be prepared to be destroyed both mentally and physically by him.
"You...what do you want?"
Crouch got up tremblingly. Finally, he stopped sorting the damn clothes.
"Common ground while reserving differences, Mr. Crouch."
Voldemort shook his head slightly and said, "We all love little Barty, so we should unite. Even if we can't protect each other and walk hand in hand, we must respect each other and forgive each other."
"Forgive you for everything you did before?" Crouch asked in a deep voice.
"Yes, no matter how you look at it, no matter what you lose because of it, you have to learn to forget that and start again."
Voldemort nodded affirmatively and said, "You can choose to refuse, and the result will be imprisonment. Before Little Barty dies, you will live. When he dies, you will go and keep him company."
"Is this what you mean by seeking common ground while shelving differences, working hand in hand, and forgiving each other?" Crouch asked angrily.
Voldemort shrugged and spread his hands again.
He didn't say anything, but he gave an affirmative answer.
And after this answer, four words are appended:
I do not care.
