Hogwarts: I am Voldemort

Chapter 157 Lockhart’s autograph signing

Harry didn't have a happy time at the Weasleys, and it wasn't because of the Weasleys.

If before meeting Dobby, or if Dobby hadn't said that thing that bothered him, he might have been very happy, but now everything was different.

"Harry is too thin and too quiet."

Mrs. Weasley looked out the window at the children playing and said to her husband, "Those Muggles must have abused him."

"We have to be nice to him and take him to Diagon Alley after a while, Molly, and he will get better." Arthur Weasley replied.

"How is Percy doing at the Ministry of Magic?" Mrs. Weasley asked again.

"Very well, Molly, I think he's a better fit there than me," Arthur said with a wry smile.

Harry swore he would never use Floo powder again.

If he hadn't met Hagrid, he wouldn't have known how he would have gotten out of that weird narrow alley - before that, he had never known that there was such a place next to Diagon Alley.

"Knockturn Alley, Harry, I've always wanted to go there, but mother wouldn't let me." Ron approached him and whispered, "Fred and the others go there often, and mother can't control them."

"There's really not much to do there, Ron," he answered Ron, expressing his lack of interest in it.

"What's wrong with you lately, Harry? You always seem to be distracted." Ron asked confused.

"It's nothing, maybe because Hermione has to transfer schools, we lose a friend." Harry said perfunctorily.

"What's so good about her, Harry, forget her, let's go to the Quidditch boutique and have a look. There are a lot of good things there." Ron said excitedly.

Harry shrugged and followed Ron's footsteps nonchalantly towards the Quidditch boutique.

An hour later, Harry and Ron arrived at Flourish and Blotts Bookstore, where they had agreed to meet with the Weasleys.

"Look what that is?" Mrs. Weasley was almost suffocated with excitement. He said to Mr. Weasley, "I'm going to see Lockhart's book signing. You take the children to buy books."

A group of people crowded in front of the bookstore, and a banner was pulled out in front of the upstairs window:

Gilderoy Lockhart

Signed autobiography for sale

"Magical Me"

Today 12:30-4:30 pm

"Molly, the book signing will be inside. We have to go in." Mr. Weasley was not angry. He pointed inside and said, "The children will choose their own books. I will help Ginny choose her books." ."

"Okay, let's go in." Mrs. Weasley said impatiently.

Everyone filed in and began to select the books they needed. Ginny's books were all found by Mr. Weasley from the used book section - their family was indeed somewhat poor.

When Mr. Weasley and the children returned to the autograph session, Mrs. Weasley was already in line, and many women like her were waiting excitedly.

Harry was obviously not interested in this, but Ron seemed a little excited. The twin brothers... they had gone somewhere long ago.

After waiting for a while, Gilderoy Lockhart, the best-selling author in the wizarding world, arrived belatedly. He walked through a row of large photos of himself and came behind the table, showing his dazzling white teeth and smiling at the crowd.

"Wow~~~"

The crowd exclaimed, causing Lockhart to smile even more. He smoothed down his robe that was the same color as the forget-me-not flowers, posed in various poses, and took pictures with the [Daily Prophet] cameraman on the side.

It was a short, fat man with a bad temper. He was holding a black camera and jumping around to take pictures. Every time he pressed the shutter, the camera would emit a puff of purple smoke.

"Get out of the way," he shouted to Ron after a beat, as Ron blocked his retreat.

"It's amazing," Ron said, rubbing his sore feet from being stepped on by the camera crew.

Lockhart happened to hear it, and when he turned around, he saw Harry.

Ron: Am I transparent?

Lockhart yelled, pulling Harry to his side and began to tell the story he had to tell about himself and the Boy-Who-Lived, and then gave him a set of signed books of his own.

Finally, he also announced that he would enter Hogwarts to teach.

This caused another commotion, and Mrs. Weasley excitedly took Ginny's hand and said, "Great, Ginny, great, you have a great Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

Ginny didn't quite understand this yet. She just felt her hand hurt a little, so she tried to draw it back.

Immediately afterwards, Lockhart, after pulling the savior and selling a wave of emotions, began to officially sign the book. People became even crazier and the team crowded forward.

Mrs. Weasley was undoubtedly very excited, but she still remained rational and protected her little daughter.

And Ginny...

She was afraid that her little basket containing books would be knocked over, so she tried her best to protect it.

But the crowd in the back was a bit serious, which forced her to hold on tightly to the handle of the basket. As for the basket, it had already fallen behind her.

She felt the basket was squeezed hard, which almost caused the basket to fall out of her hands, but luckily she held on tightly.

Soon after, the crazy crowd finally calmed down, and Ginny finally held the basket in her arms.

Hope nothing is missing...

With this thought in mind, she lowered her head to look at the basket and rummaged through it - nothing seemed to be missing, but there was an old, blank diary.

Maybe it was a gift from Flourish and Blott Bookstore. After all, I bought a lot of used books... She thought like this and didn't care too much.

Malfoy Manor.

"All the best, Lucius."

Old Turner came to Lucius and whispered, then looked at the guy with brown hair and thick eyebrows not far away, and asked Lucius, "What is he here for?"

"The great Mr. Rufus Scrimgeour, head of the Auror Office of the Ministry of Magic, and Principal Dumbledore's dog. He thought I had something related to dark magic here, so he came to search it."

Lucius said with an unkind expression, "Mr. Scrimgeour, I heard that you had a disagreement with the principal, but it seems that is not the case now."

Scrimgeour, who was ridiculed by Lucius for a while, did not show any anger. He just had a cold face and directed his men to carefully search everything in the manor.

"There won't be any trouble, right?" Old Nott whispered to Lucius.

"No, they are the ones in trouble," Lucius said.

As soon as he finished speaking, there was an explosion in the manor castle.

Then a figure crashed through a window on the upper floor of the castle and fell to the ground hard - the man struggled on the ground and didn't seem dead, but he thought he needed to go to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries and Injuries.

"When did people from the Auror Office dare to search Malfoy Manor?"

A majestic figure stood at the broken glass, scanning the staff in the Auror office condescendingly.

"If you still don't leave, I will use the killing curse to take away the souls of at least three people as a gift in return. Damn it, Lucius, don't you know the Unforgivable Curse?"

"I want to prove the innocence of the Malfoy family, father. Even though I know it will bring disgrace to the family's reputation, I am still willing to cooperate with the Ministry of Magic." Lucius pointed his wand at his throat, letting the sound spread throughout the manor.

"Go to the Ministry of Magic. If you don't leave, I will kill you." Old Malfoy roared, "You can try to see if I can keep my word."

Scrimgeour's face was terrifyingly gloomy, but he looked at the old Malfoy who was obviously not in good condition. After hesitating for a while, he evacuated with the people in the Auror office.

But before that, they found nothing.

Damn it, Dumbledore, for providing false information... the head of the Auror Office thought.
