Hogwarts: I am Voldemort
Chapter 108 Blowing up the Quidditch pitch
“Repaired as good as new.”
The Elder Wand pointed forward, and the yellow and purple spell hit the paper, repairing it in the blink of an eye.
"The peaks are obvious, Professor, but the troughs are beating so fast they're almost impossible to register," Percy said, scratching his head.
Voldemort looked at Hermione, and the little one nodded with a pout, indicating that she was the same here.
"Not at all, Headmaster." Voldemort said helplessly, "The spell is too strong. The repair spell is completed instantly, giving the instrument almost no more recording time."
Dumbledore nodded, he was worried about this too.
"We need a larger testing ground. Professor, a piece of paper or a table cannot satisfy us." Percy said.
"The instruments also need to be bigger," Hermione interjected.
Voldemort nodded and looked at Dumbledore. The only one who could provide a larger place was the old man in front of him. After all, he was the principal of Hogwarts.
Dumbledore stood in front of the tower window and looked out. Several children were playing Quidditch not far away, which caught his eye.
"How about the Quidditch pitch?" Dumbledore asked. "It's big enough, spacious enough, and safe."
"A very good choice, Albus," said Voldemort, "but will Mrs. Hoch allow it?"
This is a problem. After all, blowing up someone else’s stadium and then repairing it...
"It's not a big problem."
Dumbledore said this, and then walked out of the tower to discuss with Mrs. Hoch.
The result was good, but the process was not smooth. Mrs. Hoch had a bad temper and Dumbledore was sprayed by her for quite a while.
According to the short-haired professor:
Letting students participate in research and scolding students in the auditorium is already too much. Now they have to destroy public facilities in the school. No previous principal has done this.
In short, Dumbledore came back with a dark face and brought good news. As for the unfair treatment he received... several people in the research team didn't care much. This is the price of scientific research.
"Okay, let's find some professors to destroy the Quidditch pitch. How about Snape? He has no sense of presence recently." Dumbledore adjusted his mood and said.
Voldemort shrugged. It didn't matter who he was looking for. He was now focused on research, and Snape had almost been forgotten by him.
"Ask the students to come and take a look." Percy suddenly said, "This is a long-term experience. No one has ever seen such a big thing restored."
"I want to take a photo as a souvenir. If the research is successful, this photo will be of great commemorative value." Hermione followed up.
The two of them were just soy saucers, so they had the leisure to think about these things, while Dumbledore and Voldemort had no such intention.
But they didn't refuse, after all, it was also memorable for them.
"Let's do it this Saturday. It's better not to miss too many classes." Lao Deng looked at Voldemort - he finally remembered his responsibilities as the principal. Voldemort had only taken leave at his request before.
After determining the time and making sufficient preparations, everyone arrived at the Quidditch pitch on Saturday morning.
Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Professor Snape...
A group of professors walked into the field, stretched out their wands, used various spells, and began to bombard the Quidditch pitch.
The students watched from a distance and pointed out the various magic tricks used by the professors. The twins cheered from time to time, and Jordan also explained the proceedings of the scene like a announcer:
"A beautiful disintegration spell, Headmaster Flitwick destroyed the chairs in the East Stand..."
"The perfect transformation spell, the stone giant broke the club. This is the transformation spell from Professor McGonagall..."
"Professor Snape has also shown strong magic power, but unfortunately it is not black magic. Maybe we should have more expectations for his next spell..."
Voldemort saw that Percy was holding back a laugh. The boy was less serious now and would occasionally joke.
Hermione on the side did not pay attention to Jordan's explanation, but held a small mirror and kept arranging her hair, which had been carefully taken care of but was messed up by the strong wind.
"The Potter family's hair conditioner, Sleekeazy, seems to be called this. Go try it. Two drops will make it docile, Hermione." Voldemort glanced at the little guy and said.
"I'll give it a try when I go to Diagon Alley in the summer." Hermione said quietly and quickly.
"Okay, it's our turn."
Dumbledore spoke, and everyone fell silent instantly, and then walked towards the high platform that had been built in advance, and the magical instruments for testing were already placed on it.
"I hope it's enough once, Quirinus, focus." Dumbledore pointed to his forehead, looking at Voldemort through the top of his half-moon glasses and said.
"Focus." Voldemort responded, then looked at Percy and Hermione.
"Focus." The two said almost at the same time, then opened their notebooks and started to record.
Dumbledore stretched his body, glanced at the dilapidated Quidditch pitch, took a deep breath, and then opened his hands.
The crowd in the distance burst into cheers. They had been looking forward to the principal's performance for a long time.
"It would be even better if it was a transformation spell." Professor McGonagall said excitedly, "I have never seen him use the transformation spell with all his strength."
"The curses are connected." Dean Flitwick stood on a chair with a camera in front of him, recording everything in front of him. "I simply can't imagine that such a serious damage to the stadium can be caused by one person's curse." , can it really be repaired?"
"Of course we have confidence in him," Professor Kettleburn said.
Everyone's conversation came to an abrupt end because Dumbledore began to take action.
He raised his hands high and waved the wand several times in the air, as if he was accumulating magic power.
Then there was a shake, but the spell didn't appear immediately, and then a second time, and still nothing.
Then a third time, while the principal yelled, "Repair it as good as ever."
The voice seemed to have used an amplification spell, and a yellow-purple light shot out from the front of the Elder Wand, which was as thick as a bucket.
"Very clear, you two, take notes."
Voldemort shouted in surprise, while Percy and Hermione recorded excitedly.
On the court, broken stones, cracked seats, and clubs broken into several sections are moving. They are either flying together, or rolling close to the ground, and quickly returning to their original positions.
The yellow-purple magic pillar has not disappeared, the magic is emerging from Dumbledore at an alarming speed, and then shrouding the entire stadium through the Elder Wand.
When all the broken pieces visible to the naked eye were restored to their original positions, the cracks were repaired. From time to time, Voldemort would look away from the dashboard and look at the cracks that were visible to the naked eye.
It's like countless atoms have been extracted from the air to repair the gaps.
Even if I am no stranger to magic, seeing this scene is still exciting.
"Whoosh~~"
As Dumbledore flicked his wand, the beam of light disappeared, the repair was completed, and Voldemort's excited heart slowly calmed down.
The students and teachers not far away let out loud cheers.
Dumbledore gasped and waved, causing their cheers to rise to a second climax.
