Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#505 - Chapter 505: Azkaban Luxury Suite

No matter how hysterically Umbridge screamed, she couldn't change the reality before her. Deloris, fed up with her unreasonable behavior, coldly glanced at the two young Aurors beside her.

These two young Aurors had entered the Ministry of Magic after attending Auror training courses. After two years of experience, they were no longer greenhorns. Dressed in dark standard robes, they were energetic and exuded competence in every move.

Returning to Hogwarts, the envious gazes of the younger students made them immediately feel like returning home in glory. Their chests couldn't help but puff out even further, each looking extremely proud.

Seeing Deloris's signal, they stepped forward without hesitation, confiscating Umbridge's wand, and then, one on each side, grabbed her arms, forcibly lifting her up and taking her away with clean and efficient movements.

"Slander! I didn't collude with Yaxley, I'm innocent! Let me go, you can't use Veritaserum on me, you can't!"

Watching Umbridge's terrified appearance, Sebastian stood in the crowd, the corners of his mouth lifting almost imperceptibly.

Fortunately, it was wartime, which allowed for the rapid passage of a special Veritaserum act. In peacetime, arguing and holding meetings about this matter alone could take several years, and most likely lead to no result.

Of course, to protect privacy, the use of Veritaserum was strictly limited. Aurors could only use it to ask questions directly related to the case.

Even so, it was enough to thoroughly convict Umbridge. After all, the Ministry of Magic wasn't arresting her based on trumped-up charges. If necessary, the students on the Hogwarts Inquisitorial Squad could serve as witnesses.

It was foreseeable that the doors of a luxurious Azkaban suite had already opened for Umbridge. Her future would be spent within Azkaban's stone walls, and only a good attitude of repentance might earn her the opportunity for labor reform.

As Umbridge was dragged away, the young wizards immediately felt a sense of elation, bursting into cheers and applause.

George and Fred took the lead in whistling, even lighting magical fireworks, the colorful lights exploding in the air, spelling out rows of glittering words: "Umbridge is gone!"

"Fireworks on sale! Special offer today, five silver Sickles each, limited quantity, come and grab them! Celebrate Umbridge's departure!" George waved his hands, loudly hawking, attracting everyone to buy them.

Faced with this sudden celebration, the professors rarely intervened, even Professor McGonagall. But everyone could see that they were in high spirits, only prevented from cheering with the students by their status as professors.

However, some sharp-eyed students still saw Professor Flitwick secretly clenching his fist when no one was paying attention.

Trelawney seemed particularly excited. She stood in the corner, wiping away tears, stammering incoherently, "It's finally over, I no longer have to worry about being kicked out of Hogwarts!"

Unfortunately, to her disappointment, even if she returned to her job, she would no longer be the sole professor of Divination, but would have to teach the subject with the centaur Firenze.

As the last cluster of fireworks dissipated, the young wizards dispersed contentedly, returning to the long tables one after another to enjoy lunch.

The entire Great Hall was filled with a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Harry, Ron, and Hermione also chatted as they ate, clearly still savoring the moment.

"Umbridge's face when she was just taken away, haha, it was so pathetic! She actually wanted us to drink drinks laced with Veritaserum back then, serves her right!"

Ron exaggeratedly imitated Umbridge's expression, causing Hermione to gently hit his arm, "Stop it, Ron, hurry up and eat, we have class this afternoon."

"Let me be happy," Ron chuckled, "If Harry hadn't seen through Umbridge's scheme back then, every single one of us would have fallen into the trap."

Hearing Ron mention the past again, Harry swallowed a mouthful of his drink and silently changed the subject.

"I have to say, the new Ministry of Magic has made me look at it in a new light. Minister Bones's style is completely different from Fudge's, not dragging its feet and not compromising. This kind of tough attitude is what's needed to confront the Dark Lord."

After speaking, he glanced out of the corner of his eye towards the Slytherin table, wanting to see what Malfoy's reaction was.

However, Malfoy was just quietly eating his meal, without any extra reaction.

After an afternoon of classes, Malfoy returned to the Slytherin common room, where a seventh-year student named Gustav was giving an exciting speech.

The content was old-fashioned, still that set of extreme pure-blood ideology.

Malfoy only listened to a few sentences before imperceptibly curling his lip, then sat down on a sofa.

Wherever there are people, there is society. With the return of a large number of Death Eaters, Lucius's status became lower and lower, which also led to some people no longer taking the Malfoy family seriously.

And their children took the opportunity to learn from their parents, starting to promote extreme ideas at Hogwarts, in order to surpass Draco Malfoy and gain praise from the Dark Lord.

"The haze will eventually dissipate, victory will eventually come, and under the leadership of the Dark Lord, we will once again trample all the impure scum under our feet..."

Gustav's voice was extremely high-pitched, but to his dismay, his speech received a mediocre response, causing no ripples in the Slytherin common room.

It was as if the idea of pure-blood supremacy no longer had a market.

However, it wasn't that it didn't cause a reaction, but unfortunately, this reaction was completely different from Gustav's expectations.

"Shut up, Gustav, are you speaking for the Dark Lord? If so, I'll go get Professor Swann right now and let him see your true colors."

Gustav glared angrily, "Watch your words, even if it's Professor Swann..."

"What about Professor Swann? The news has said that he has twice confronted the Dark Lord head-on and thwarted his plots. If you have the ability, let the Dark Lord come wander around Hogwarts."

"You..."

"You what! If you stand on the side of the Death Eaters, then say it openly. If you don't dare, then shut your mouth and stop saying some stinky nonsense here."

Gustav's chest rose and fell violently. He didn't dare to admit it publicly, as he was worried about being reported and then caught by the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry of Magic had issued a notice that there would be rewards for reporting information related to the Death Eaters.

Looking at Gustav, who was speechless, Malfoy's lips curled slightly.

There were always fools who couldn't see the situation clearly. The Ministry of Magic had officially declared war, and Professor Swann had also stated that he would cooperate with the Ministry of Magic to strengthen the students' ideological education. You actually dared to promote the Dark Lord's ideas at school, that's just asking for a beating!

The Dark Lord was once a banner of Slytherin, but that banner was no longer popular, even in Slytherin House.

What was popular now was Professor Swann's philosophy—harmony brings wealth!

Hehe, if you have the guts, then continue to make trouble, anyway, I will clearly write your names in my little notebook.

At the same time, Sebastian came to the Headmaster's office with practiced ease.
