Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#296 - Chapter 296 The Sudden Appearance of a Werewolf

An invisible blade streaked across the night sky, carrying Harry's pent-up rage, and shot towards Sirius's head.

Sirius merely raised his hand casually, conjuring a Shield Charm.

Against these third-year kids, his defense was almost subconscious; he didn't even seriously consider what spell Harry would use.

In his mind, these third-year kids simply didn't have the ability to break through his defenses.

However, the moment Harry's voice rang out, Sirius's expression instantly changed.

Sectumsempra?!

The Snivellus's most proficient, most lethal spell.

How did Harry even learn that spell?

No sooner said than done, Sirius felt his Shield Charm being sliced through as easily as butter meeting a scorching blade.

Without time to think, Sirius instinctively jerked his head to the side.

Instantly, he felt a sharp gust graze his ear, shearing off the hair at his temple.

"Harry, how could you use Snivellus's spell? That spell has the shadow of Dark Magic behind it!"

Snivellus?

Harry paused for a moment, then erupted in fury: "How dare you insult Professor Snape!"

Seeing his attack dodged, he didn't hesitate, raising his wand again to attack Sirius.

"Whether it's Dark Magic or White Magic, as long as it can take you down, it's good magic!"

He gripped his wand tightly, experiencing the desire to kill for the first time in his life.

This desire was extremely strong, making his spells faster and more ruthless with each cast.

He wanted to kill this hateful person to avenge his parents.

Hermione and Ron exchanged a look and unhesitatingly joined the attack on Sirius.

Ron roared, "Black, while we're here, you won't lay a finger on Harry."

"Just surrender quickly; Harry's spells are fast, you won't feel any pain."

Hermione remained silent, simply observing the situation before her, then aiming her spells to intercept him whenever he tried to dodge.

For a time, their seamless cooperation left Sirius in a sorry state.

He could only rely on the trees in the Forbidden Forest to hide, while occasionally firing Disarming Charms and Stunning Spells in retaliation.

He'd been careless!

He should have ambushed them, disarming them before trying to talk.

He never expected that a few third-year students could push him this far, giving him almost no chance to retaliate.

How are kids these days so powerful?!

Was he really going to be defeated by these kids?

"No!" Just thinking about that possibility made him roar madly, "I've waited too long; I absolutely can't miss this opportunity today!"

He stopped holding back, using all his strength to fire spells at Harry and the others, hoping to calm these kids down.

For a moment, the Forbidden Forest was filled with spells flying everywhere.

"This opportunity today?!" Harry shouted, "Then try it!"

Harry abandoned his defense, charging straight at Sirius despite his attacks.

He didn't care that he was only thirteen and the other was a notorious adult wizard; he just wanted to close the distance, so the other wouldn't be able to dodge his spells.

Moreover, he was wearing a protective vest made of basilisk skin, along with various button-shaped protective devices, making Sirius's attacks ineffective for the time being.

Perhaps startled by Harry's brave actions, Sirius was slightly distracted, and his dodging slowed slightly.

Seeing this, Hermione's eyes lit up, seizing the opportunity to cast a spell.

"Incarcerous!"

Hermione's shout brought Sirius back to his senses.

Not good!

He had actually lost focus during the fight.

Before he could dodge, he was tightly bound to a nearby tree by a flying rope.

"Expelliarmus!"

A red light streaked out, and Sirius's wand flew out of his hand, high into the air, where Ron caught it.

Sirius, bound to the tree, his gaunt chest rising and falling rapidly, looked at Harry, who had stopped, and chuckled.

"Impressive cooperation; really powerful."

"Are you going to kill me, Harry?"

Harry raised his wand steadily, pointing it at Sirius's chest.

"You killed my parents; I'm going to avenge them!"

"I don't deny that," Sirius said softly, looking into Harry's eyes, "but you should hear the details, or you'll regret it..."

"Regret? Details?" Harry laughed in anger, "I don't want to hear a word you say; you can go down and tell my parents the details."

"Sectumsempra!"

"Stop!" At the critical moment, a gray figure roared out from the Forbidden Forest, directly blocking Harry's spell with its body.

It was a fearsome, upright wolf-like monster, over two meters tall, its massive body almost filling Harry's entire vision.

Its body was covered in thick, grizzled, black fur, appearing rough and unkempt.

Its mouth was slightly open, revealing sharp canine teeth, and accompanied by ferocious claws, it looked extremely impactful.

The newcomer was Lupin, transformed into a werewolf.

Tonight was the full moon; after drinking the Wolfsbane Potion, he had quietly stayed in his office, preparing to spend a boring night.

Although everyone already knew he was a werewolf, he had no intention of walking around the school as a werewolf after the moon rose.

That would scare many young wizards.

Bored, he unfolded the Marauder's Map that he had confiscated from the Weasley twins a few days ago and began to pass the time.

However, two names inside Hagrid's hut completely stunned him.

Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew!

Before he could even doubt whether he was seeing things, Lupin saw these two names leave the hut and enter the Forbidden Forest together.

Then came the names of Harry and his friends, following closely behind.

Lupin couldn't sit still any longer, so he left the castle before transforming, coming to the Forbidden Forest to find them.

He stood there panting, his heart full of relief.

He finally caught up!

He looked at the bleeding wound on his arm and breathed a small sigh of relief.

Fortunately, it wasn't a deep wound.

But to be fair, Snape's spell was really powerful.

Luckily, the moon had already risen, and he had transformed into a werewolf, relying on the werewolf's high magic resistance and strong physique to withstand the spell.

If he had been in human form, he would have been seriously injured.

Seeing a werewolf appear before him, Ron screamed and backed away.

Merlin!

There really are werewolves in the Forbidden Forest!

Hermione hesitated for a moment and asked tremblingly, "Professor Lupin, is that you?"

Lupin ignored Hermione's question and turned his head to stare intently at Sirius.

"Sirius, where is he?"
