Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King

#184 - Chapter 184 The Furious Notebook

In the Gryffindor girls' dormitory, first-year Ginny Weasley had finished washing up early and returned to her bed.

She carefully drew the bed curtains, isolating herself from the outside world.

The inside of the curtains was not dark; soft light spilled onto the bed, creating a warm atmosphere.

Ginny sat on the bed, found a comfortable position, and took out a somewhat old notebook, placing it flat on her lap.

Then, she picked up a quill and began to write quickly in the notebook, recording what she had seen and heard today.

The tip of the quill slid across the paper, making a slight rustling sound that made her feel very at ease.

"Tom, do you remember Harry Potter, whom I told you about? Yesterday, he revealed the talent of speaking Parseltongue and was therefore regarded as the Heir of Slytherin."

"Everyone says he opened the Chamber of Secrets and released the monster inside. Because of fear, everyone has isolated Harry Potter."

"Seeing him being isolated like this makes me feel very sad."

"I especially hope I can become his friend so that I can sit openly and honestly next to Harry Potter and comfort him, just like Ron does."

When she finished writing these sentences, something magical happened.

The handwriting on the notebook suddenly began to disappear line by line, as if erased from the paper by an invisible force.

Afterward, new handwriting quickly appeared on the paper. Unlike Ginny's handwriting, the new handwriting was very neat.

"Ginny, my best friend, you haven't talked to me lately. Can you tell me why first?"

Ginny was stunned, and a trace of panic flashed in her eyes.

She hadn't contacted her good friend Tom since the Halloween feast.

She didn't remember what happened that night. When she became conscious, her chest was covered in paint.

She went back to change her clothes, and as soon as she returned to the third floor, she heard that the Chamber of Secrets had been opened, the walls were covered in writing, and Filch's cat had also been attacked.

Because she had lost her memory, Ginny couldn't tell if she had done it.

While she was uneasy, Professor Swann announced that he would lead the Auror training class to investigate the matter.

Because she was afraid of being suspected, she had been living carefully for the next two weeks and had not contacted her friend in the notebook.

Today, her idol Harry Potter was cleared of suspicion. Overjoyed, she couldn't help but share the news with her friend Tom.

Seeing Tom's question, Ginny calmed herself and explained in the notebook about Professor Swann's recent investigation into the Chamber of Secrets.

"Oh, I see. Don't worry. It seems that Professor Swann didn't find anything, otherwise, he wouldn't have allowed your idol Harry Potter to suffer injustice."

"By the way, you just said that Harry Potter is also a Parselmouth. I didn't expect him to have the same magical talent as the great Slytherin."

"After being isolated, he must need companionship. I think you can go and make friends with him directly. I believe he won't refuse you."

"No need," Ginny picked up the quill and continued to write. "Harry Potter has already been cleared of suspicion."

"Everyone is no longer afraid of Parseltongue because Professor Swann said it's just an ordinary language-based magical talent."

"Anyone can learn it if they want to. There's nothing special about it at all."

"Ordinary talent?!?!?" As if unable to believe what Ginny had written, the handwriting on the notebook seemed a little messy.

"There's nothing special about it?????"

The handwriting on the notebook disappeared again, and new handwriting quickly appeared on the paper.

Unlike the neat handwriting before, this handwriting appeared scribbled and hasty, as if scribbled down in a hurry, the letters crooked.

These words spread extremely quickly, filling two whole pages almost in the blink of an eye.

"Laughable remarks, actually defining Parseltongue as an ordinary magical talent. That is Slytherin's famous talent."

"Ginny, don't be superstitious about the school's professors."

"You can't imagine how shallow some professors can be."

"What they are best at is making grand pronouncements, which is just to cover up their ignorance."

"That Professor Swann can't even imagine how powerful Parseltongue is."

......

The handwriting on the notebook was dense, all expressing one meaning to Ginny—

That Professor Swann is an unlearned charlatan, Ginny, don't believe anything he says.

Looking at the intense words in the notebook, Ginny couldn't help but frown.

To be honest, she quite agreed with Professor Swann's analysis, especially since this analysis helped clear Harry's name.

She didn't understand why the always gentle Tom would suddenly become so agitated, as if he were the one being slandered.

However, Ginny didn't want to argue with Tom. She picked up her pen and wrote in the blank space in the notebook.

"It's very late, Tom. I'm going to sleep. Let's talk next time."

After writing, Ginny put away her quill and then placed the notebook beside her pillow, drifting sweetly into dreamland.

After midnight, without anyone controlling it, the notebook flipped through its pages with a rustling sound.

Then, a few lines of writing appeared on the blank page.

"Muggle Studies professor! This kind of trash should not exist at Hogwarts."

"It seems that it is necessary to strike again and let this ridiculous professor be punished by the basilisk."

The handwriting gradually faded, and as the last bit of ink disappeared from the paper, Ginny unconsciously hugged the notebook tightly in her arms.

Although her eyes were wide open, they were hollow and unfocused, as if she were sleepwalking.

Ginny gently opened the bed curtains, walked out of the dormitory barefoot and silently, and began to wander through Hogwarts at night.

The castle at night seemed particularly quiet, even the breeze seemed to be careful.

Ginny's footsteps were as light as a feather, making not a sound.

She seemed to be drawn by some invisible force, walking step by step towards the third floor of the castle.

Finally, she came to the front of the girls' bathroom and pushed the door open.

Inside the room, the damp, cold air mixed with the faint sound of dripping water, making it particularly eerie.

However, all of this had no effect on Ginny. She walked straight to an old faucet, slowly raised her head, and opened her lips slightly, as if to say something in a low voice.

At that moment, a red light flashed, and a powerful spell quickly struck her.

"Stupefy!"

Attacked by the spell, Ginny fell to the side. In the process of falling, she let go of her hands, allowing the notebook to fall on the bathroom floor.

The moment it touched the ground, another spell came, steadily supporting Ginny's body and gently laying her on the floor.

Sebastian's figure appeared at the door of the bathroom.

He smiled as he walked forward, picked up the notebook from the ground, and said softly.

"You finally couldn't help it, Tom."
